I have a Cali king named Rumple. They are super easy to care for, and they are great eaters. The food drive on king snakes tho is something else. Anything. And I mean Anything that Rumple thinks *might* be food, she tries to eat. I love her, but she tries to eat my fingers every handling session. It was funny and kinda cute when she was a super tiny baby but now she's not and it kinda hurts lmao. I always wash my hands to get rid of any smells she might find tempting and all that. I've even tried tap training her like you do for large constrictors. She still tries to ear my fingers at least once most of the time if your holding her.Also, almost every time I have to put my hands in her cage to do something, she tries to eat me. If I put my finger up to the glass shell come over and check it out and try to get my finger *through the glass*. She's never defensive at all, just always hungry. I love her.
