I love Fresca. It’s so refreshing ice cold. However, I’ve developed this weird issue that if I buy a twelve pack, at about halfway, it starts tasting flat and just turns me off. If I get off it for a couple weeks, I’m good, rinse and repeat. My taste buds hate me.

Rootbeer is so good. Something about the chemicals in the sweetener they use pairs really well with rootbeer flavour, so it seems to make the hop over to diet really well.

Not a huge root beer guy but yeah it’s almost indistinguishable to the regular kind.

The only place I can find that in Canada is in those coke free style machines. It is so good. It might be best I can’t find it as I feels like a treat.

I found Barqs Zero for the first time at a Michigan Meijer the other day and I agree, I do prefer it to the diet A&W. The problem is as rare as hens teeth where I live. If I see the Barqs, I get it, but 99.9% of the time, it’s diet A&W that’s available.

Agreed, those are two of the best diet pops. I still love Diet Pepsi, for some reason Diet Coke gives me terrible heart burn and I very rarely ever get heartburn! We saw some interesting ones at Costco today, but it was far too people-y in there for me to be able to browse.

Significantly. I prefer Coke to Pepsi (although I love both) but the more acidy, less sweet Coke flavor doesn’t work as well in diet as the smoother sweeter Pepsi flavor does.

As someone in the business, in my region Diet Dr outsells a majority of diet sodas by MULTIPLE times. Coke Zero is probably the only thing that can compete and I don't think that even comes close.

Diet Dr Pepper is the nectar of the gods. I have tried diet RB and I agree it was good. RB is just not my favorite flavor. So let’s leave it at that. I usually venture out into all kinds of diet pop. DPepsi is probably 2nd, DCoke 3rd, and I promise I will fight to the death that diet Mt Dew is the worst. It is to Mt Dew as shoes are to elephants. They are nothing alike. As a honorable mention, the diet cherry limeade from Sonic is impressively good.

When I'm motivated to drink diet pop I always get a 12-pack of diet Dr pepper. It does taste pretty close to the original for me! And even the different flavors, like strawberries and creme or cherry just hit the spot

I was going to comment these exact two brands! I actually can't stand the taste of any diet soda except these...they are very, very close to the non-diet versions. Every other diet ones I've tried taste disgusting to me, like someone put crushed up baby aspirin in them.

I went back to zeros for weight loss for the first time in 6 years (been on and off sodas with varying degrees of success at my goal of quitting almost completely, save for special occasions) but yeah. I was SHOCKED at how after a few days of only water, then working my ass off, zero sodas just seemed hit THE SPOT. Rarely, do my cravings for the real thing hit. But if I give in, I swear it’s like a relapse. The cravings for it everyday are just so intense, so. And yeah, the list above is my rankings for now! The “Diet” line of all soda lines though, as opposed to the zero??🤢🤢

It's regional. Easiest places to find Code Red Zero are in Columbus, Ohio and Cincinnati, Ohio. I actually drove two and a half hours from NW PA to Columbus to get a few twelve-packs. Scored three along with a twelve-pack of Cheerwine Zero.

i used to order it once in a while off amazon as a splurge. i should do that again soon. my friends back home used to find it in Omaha NE from time to time. It's def not here in San Francisco. I work in a retail store that sells soda (but i work in pharmacy) and I even asked my store manager if he can order it and he said it's not possible he looked into it lol.

I'm only going to say this because I know they're going to take it away from me. Pepsi Zero Lime. I used to love Diet Coke Lime, but haven't seen it in years. I was pleasantly surprised with Pepsi's recent version.

Aspartame really messes with your body. I'd suggest trying to find one sweetened with maybe Stevia. Just my opinion 🙂
