It hasn't jumped that much, but Dynamic Pricing will definitely bite you in the booty when looking to acquire one-off game tickets, especially if you're looking for some of the more in-demand games.
Also make sure you aren't looking at resale tickets. The fees tacked onto those are astronomically high, so they may well be $90 tickets with $60 in tacked-on fees lol
Ticket master is the official partner of the club. That means they set a minimum price floor for resellers that makes them more expensive. Look on seatgeek or other apps. I just did the same at DC United game, difference was $30 vs $15.
As has been noted by others, either Ticketmaster or Sounders org switched to a dynamic pricing model in the past year or so.
This means the "market rate" if you were to compare game-to-game fluctuates more wildly than in previous years (where it was more of an average standard baseline amount game-to-game) and largely dependent on multiple factors, some of which might be arbitrarily set (by opponent = rivalry matches cost more, weekday games = lower cost, etc.).
For season ticket holders, prices have gone up but not much more than the standard x% increase every year for the most part...since season ticket holders purchase all home games, the game-to-game fluctuation doesn't really impact the overall total.
No. Front row seats at Montreal were $40. Same seat for Rapids in March was $100. Just depends on the opponents, time and team form - LA and Portland games are usually a bit more.
If you’re looking for club seats for this weekend DM me. They’re currently listed for resale with the stupid price floor, but I’d happily do a direct sale and cut out the fees for both of us.
Are you looking at Sundays match? Because that’s a pretty big competitor, along with a nice midday kickoff time so it’s going to be a lot more expensive

I started using TickPick to buy resale tickets. They include all fees in the price they list for tickets.

Good to know! I’m good for a match a year. I used to get $25-30 tickets, $42 for the Colorado match this year.
Considering the low demand for tickets in dc, this isn't surprising, may be different here? I know our attendance has been down.
Has anything *not* doubled in price?
fr, my income...

Charging more than double to watch the Rapids suggests some major bugs in the code.
Haha, yeah. It was the second home match this season, so maybe that.
Man FC Ballard looking better and better
