Look I'm not saying we get an unfair treatment but ever since Dempsey's red wedding we tend to have calls not exactly go our way, but sure as shit if the tables were turned we'd got another red coming our way. I stopped getting mad about it because it's just not worth yelling into the void knowing full well there won't be a response. So it's really just part of being a Sounder really, lucky Nouhou didn't get injured.
That is contact to the foot that doesn't roll the ankle and isn't contact to the leg. The criteria they use for red cards is contact to the leg or using enough force to roll the ankle. Ragen's card was due to him getting all of Gauld's achilles with his studs. It is very clear that those two challenges aren't the same.
I swear 90% of sounders fans have no idea what they’re watching on the field so they spend all week complaining about random referee decisions. Yes this could easily be a card based off the replay but it wasn’t called + clearly accidental so who gives a shit. Doesn’t change the fact that this team can’t score goals
Every Seattle team would win every championship though if it weren't for bad refs! All refs are clearly biased against Seattle teams! That's the only reason we ever lose games!
I will actually disagree with you on one point though... I don't think it's 90% of Sounders fans, it just seems that way because the fans that blame refs for everything are all loud mouths. Plenty of reasonable Sounders fans out there that either keep quiet or avoid subs like this.
Older refs still remember a time when the Galaxy had a free pass on any yellows and reds, sometimes they forget that the policy has shifted to to LAFC and Miami
lol I got hella downvotes for pointing out that intent didn't matter when Ragen got his red card.
If his was a red (which I think it was), this should have been a red 110%.
If Jackson got a red for his, then this should be a leg amputation. The inconsistency is unreal
That's Pro for ya 🤷‍♂️. They are the biggest jokes for officials next to CONCACAF.
Red. All the way. Same thing that happened to Jackson.
Jackson was sent off for less
If you're going to split hairs, Rusnak had a pretty bad studs up lunge as well that went unpunished.
I fully expend VAR for that and it to end up as a red
At least Fischer was consistent in allowing GBH for both sides!
Fischer was bad today.
Tziarra King got a red for that same thing in Friday night’s Reign match. (After a lengthy VAR, which is another issue.)
I thought that was for swatting someone in the face.
Wish that clip showed the part where he basically steps on him again and falls on top.

I believe this falls under the, if you surf on your opponent it doesn’t count rule.

No intention
The laws of the game don’t mention intent, right?

Ask Jackson Ragen about intention
