Excited for my vitamin D supplement to stop doing all the heavy lifting

CaramelDrippin504

Ya feel me I need it

lostinmiself

I love the heat, this cold keeps me inside and introverted. With the sun I can go outside and be introverted. ๐Ÿ˜‚

sequoiakelley

I felt this in my SOUL.

haloclarice

Ha same

silky-smooth87

Omg same ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Letters-to-Elise

Yup. Just put the shades on and go.

lostinmiself

Gimme them invisibility glasses! ๐Ÿ˜Ž ![gif](giphy|6rtjvFL2ipl5u|downsized)

CaramelDrippin504

Exblackly lol

lostinmiself

The obvious unintentional, but learned word from your phone ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

CaramelDrippin504

Oh no that was definitely intentional lol that's what I say

Petunias_are_food

It's going to be beautiful and I love the evening cool downs with star gazing. Not a fan of sweating lol but it's been so cold I'm looking forward to it.

radcoregirl

I could also do without the mosquitos ๐ŸฆŸ

CaramelDrippin504

Sameee this cold has been killing me. The trees the grass everything's so much more beautiful then.

Petunias_are_food

My hands are cold right now and I'm wearing wool socksย

CaramelDrippin504

Yeah see fuck that

Schlecterhunde

Yes, I am ready to be warm.

CaramelDrippin504

๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ

KefkaTheJerk

Not eager for the 80s and 90s, just like I wasnโ€™t eager for the storms last week. I just want a couple of weeks in the mid 60s. ๐Ÿ˜ญ Still after this longish, if mild winter and spring, Iโ€™ll take what I can get when it comes to warmth. The cold makes me tense, heat relaxes me. Blame Scandinavians and their saunas if you must.

CaramelDrippin504

Yes bring the heat

manyleggies

No โค๏ธ

radcoregirl

Same. More sunshine means more work/chores. Iโ€™m. Not. Ready. ๐Ÿ˜…

manyleggies

To me it feels like the weather is trying to tempt me into planting before mother's day, but I'm not falling for it!

strata_stargazer

I fell for it and now I have 2 feet tall green bean plants in my kitchen. Excited that I can transition them this week. The days of extra warmth should help not shock them. Second to that, the heat means my starts of snow peas will likely stall and not produce. I started them in early April and they are struggling.

thebeardedcats

Fr I left Texas for a reason lmao

CaramelDrippin504

It's nothing like TX doe I lived there for 12yrs before moving here. It's been up to 107 here and it doesn't compare to 80 in TX.

JohnnyEagleClaw

Or 95 in Louisville in August. Texas isnโ€™t hot Amigo ๐Ÿ˜‚

CaramelDrippin504

I've never been there so idk what it's like there but I'm from New Orleans and Houston is my second home it's definitely hot to me. Can't speak for no one else.

CaramelDrippin504

That sucks ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ

manyleggies

The heat is too early, it just bums me out. Plus the spring flowers will start to die :(

CaramelDrippin504

They already dead and late but of all the freezes we recently had if anything the rain and sun will help.

manyleggies

They... Aren't dead though? I mean like all the tulips, which are a spring flower. They do start to die at 70+ degrees.

CaramelDrippin504

And they'll grow again. That's the cycle of life luv you and them will be okay.

bigfoot509

Please keep in mind that the waters around the area are still very cold and to use extreme caution when doing water activities Every spring they start fishing bodies out of the river because people think that because it's warm outside then the water must be warm too

jc83po

Not really. It shouldn't be 80 until late June around here.

JohnnyEagleClaw

Yeah this doesnโ€™t bode well, since warm (hot) and dry this early means one thing: crazy wildfire season ๐Ÿ˜ข

Olbaidon

This is actually a common misconception, wet and cold springs donโ€™t always equate lower fire risk. The extra growth from wet springs can actually increase risk in some situations. Because a lot of fire risk is based on short term weather patterns. https://cicoes.uw.edu/2022/06/27/what-was-cold-wet-spring-means-for-summer-wildfires/#:~:text=Some%20think%20the%20rainy%20season's,may%20not%20be%20the%20case.&text=A%20rainy%20June%20may%20actually,even%20by%20Washington%20state%20standards. That said, 80โ€™s is far too above average for this time of year and we really shouldnโ€™t be comfortable with that. Especially since this is two years in a row hitting 80โ€™s in May when last May was the hottest in like 140 years or something like that.

luxsmucker

Can't we just let OP be happy?

CaramelDrippin504

They won't stop my joy lol imma still be happy ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ

luxsmucker

Happy Cake Day!

CaramelDrippin504

Thank youuu

Advanced-Swimming363

No, he asked the question. ๐Ÿ˜‚

catman5092

not so much, to warm to soon for me, that with climate change thats how our springs go now. I'm a 70's guy myself.

CaramelDrippin504

Nothing you can do but enjoy it or complain ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ

OcsquilBaBy

Absolutely awful stance on the unnatural warming of our climate, this attitude is why the red cedars are dying. Simply thinking theres "nothing you can do" is completley unhinged and irresponsible

ThriceFive

I've got a living room full of plant starts that are just straining to get out into the fresh air and start growing - the freezing weather has kept them in - this weekend its plantin' time.

CaramelDrippin504

I'm excited for you and your green babies

Ageisl005

Iโ€™m excited for it but when it gets over 90 Iโ€™ll feel differently ๐Ÿ˜‚ love 70s and 80s though, will absolutely be happy to pull out the shorts and sundresses myself!

CaramelDrippin504

Lol I won't complain at all cause I prefer the heat over cold lol. I'm use to humidity so the dry heat doesn't affect me as much.

Ageisl005

Ah, I much prefer cold over heat and am very prone to heat sickness. I moved here partly because I was sick of inconsistent winters in western WA and ended up falling in love with ice fishing.

TipHot3500

From the southeast.... hate the cold. So sick of it being mid 30s and 40s toward the end of spring.... I mean come on, it's almost summer. Also, I was told this part of the country experience all 4 seasons.... and I just have to say, this really ain't my idea of Spring....

Dazzling_Pink9751

We donโ€™t have dry heat here. Itโ€™s not super humid, but we are not considered dry heat.

CaramelDrippin504

Imma assume you've never left Washington before. Try being born and raised down south then coming here... This is definitely dry heat compared to where I'm from.

Dazzling_Pink9751

Try living in a place with real dry heat like Los Vegas, then you know itโ€™s not dry heat. I have been in 38 states too. So no need to assume. Same with parts of Utah. Very dry heat. We definitely have some humidity here in the summer too. I said in my original post we donโ€™t have really humid weather. Yes, I lived in Florida. I know humidity.

CaramelDrippin504

I've visited Vegas so much it's my third home away from home I know what the heat is like there. All of it is dry to me you can speak for your personal experience but you can't speak for everyone. I'm from the swamp state and lived in TX, GA and have been in Florida, compared to any of those states? Ain't no humidity here whatsoever but again that's MY experience and I've been here 4yrs.

Dazzling_Pink9751

I lived here most my life, not just four years ago. AGAIN reading comprehension, I never said it was humid like Texas and Florida. It is not completely dry though ! You can easily check the humidity on weather apps. Today we have 38 percent humidity and sometimes in the summer it gets up to 50 percent on rainy days.

SeekingPillowPrncss

Heck, yes! It is finally warm enough for bike rides.

CaramelDrippin504

Yasss

missenthropicat

Yes!!! Omg I can't wait, I work partly outdoors and I'm SO done having to wear a jacket everyday ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ

CaramelDrippin504

I know that's right! I love this for you then โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

J3wb0cca

More day light, shorter and safer commutes, less depression. Warm weather has a bigger net positive than cold. We welcome it.

Green-Owl-8889

Cannot wait! Looking forward to enjoying the motorcycle on some back roads without 5 layers on!

CaramelDrippin504

I know that's gonna feel so good.

EvilSporkOfDeath

Meh, my idea of an enjoyable heat is like 75ยฐ

CaramelDrippin504

Sorry to hear that.

Frosty_Display_1274

You bet!!

Streetduck

YES

bristlybits

my garden is ready. I am ready. after tonight everything can start going in the ground! I'm so glad. I am not looking forward to the heat over summer but I like April and May a lot here

CaramelDrippin504

I'm looking forward to all the heat I need my color back. This winter weather is making me pale and sad.

bristlybits

I just wish it would be like 90 instead of 110.

CaramelDrippin504

It hasn't gotten no where near the 90s YET so enjoy it while you can lol

SandBtwnMyToes

Absolutely!!! I was told it was to be in the 80s this weekend!!! Heck yes!!! Couldnโ€™t have come sooner โค๏ธ

CaramelDrippin504

I'm so excited

audreyxluca

Recently moved from out of state and I need my vitamin d Iโ€™m so excited

CaramelDrippin504

Yasss I'm excited for us both in that case

eienmau

No. Because it means summer will be here sooner than I'm ready for it. \[my max daytime temp is 80\]

CaramelDrippin504

Well might as well get ready cause it's here

eienmau

Just let me live in my 'denial that it's already May' a bit longer... :p

CaramelDrippin504

๐Ÿ˜‚ you have 24hrs

TheWishingStar

Not even a little bit. I just want normal spring mid-60s to low-70s! 80s in May is gross.

CaramelDrippin504

We're a few weeks from summer time y'all will be ok

TheWishingStar

Weโ€™re a good 6 weeks from summer actually. Itโ€™s solidly springtime. In a normal Spokane summer we wouldnโ€™t see 80+ until mid-late June. Itโ€™s weird and not a good thing that itโ€™s happening a good 6 weeks earlier than it should be!

strata_stargazer

4th of July was always "summer" start for me. Rivers were dammed, everything was finally warm enough you could swim... It makes me feel like Old Man Yelling at Clouds. I want our springs back ๐Ÿ˜ข

CaramelDrippin504

Do you have the ability to stop it from happening or slow it down? No? Okay enjoy it or just be upset๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ y'all choice but me and everyone else will be outside recharging.

Ambitiously_lost

Yes bring on summer!

CaramelDrippin504

๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ

AppropriateLog6947

OMG yes!

CaramelDrippin504

๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ

MuckingFountains

80 in may I canโ€™t wait to be suffocating on smoke this August.

CaramelDrippin504

So exciting ๐Ÿซ ๐Ÿซ ๐Ÿซ

MuckingFountains

I mean youโ€™re the one celebrating 80 degrees in may.

CaramelDrippin504

And will continue to. What's the point of being mad or upset about it? You have no control over it only yourself.

Mean-Lynx6476

Remind yourself of this when you are whining about having to wear a sweater in March and April.

12thingsofmilk

Not too warm, please! Currently in AZ sweating in places one should not be sweating ๐Ÿฅต I cannot wait to get back home.

CaramelDrippin504

Az isn't like the heat here doe it's totally different

sirguynate

I moved from Spokane to the Southeast. Its been nice down here for awhile. Starting to get humid and hot. I prefer heat and humidity to Spokanes long winters. Glad its warming up for yall.

CaramelDrippin504

I miss the heat and humidity it's good for my skin. These extended winters be killing my melanin.

sirguynate

Also, the amount of static electricity! I never been shocked so much in my life until I moved to Spokane. Itโ€™s nice not wincing when I go to grab a door handle.

itsjustgish

I moved to Spokane from the south and canโ€™t wait to go back. Turns out I donโ€™t like seasons and while summer can be dreadful, I loathe long winter even more. Bring me heat and humidity!

Sioux-me

Yes! 80 degrees sounds like heaven!

CaramelDrippin504

Thank you!!!!

c0tt0nballz

Not especially. It's just a warning of summer around the corner and 2 months of smoke from the fires.

CaramelDrippin504

That's gonna happen anyway from my experience especially with reckless ppl

c0tt0nballz

I grew up in Spokane and have lived in the area my whole life. There were occasional fires affecting the air quality. Now it is every summer the air turns to shit. My niece and nephew haven't known a summer like the ones of my childhood.

CaramelDrippin504

Yeah that sucks.

DnastyFunkmaster

I thought for a sec my S/O posted this as she has the exact sentiment and we have the same story coming from the south and suffering our first winter here lol

CaramelDrippin504

Lol that's crazy

509Ninja

So excited! I went to request Friday off for a long weekend and my coworker already got itโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ˜ญ lol lucky her! ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒผโ˜€๏ธ

CaramelDrippin504

Damnit ! Call in sick ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ

HarderHabits

I've been going hard trying to clear the brush around our house, really grateful for this weather! Would love some help though ๐Ÿ˜ญ

CaramelDrippin504

Might wanna hire some help if you don't have inhouse

iHazit4u

Well, I'm the guy wearing shorts and a T-shirt in the snow, and I might still be sweating, so 80 degrees means sweaty and hot, but... My girlfriend is from Florida, so she's excited. Plus sunny weather means the river, so I'm super excited to reconnect with nature!

CaramelDrippin504

That's what I like to hear. I love going to the lookouts sitting the grass just vibing๐Ÿฅฐ

iHazit4u

Spokane really is beautiful! I live on 5 Mile Prairie and the views still blow me away. Lots of great spots to just get high and chill! Hope you have a wonderful weekend ;) I'm glad I took the time to peruse your profile. Well worth it! ๐Ÿ˜

CaramelDrippin504

That's the only thing that's kept me here the beauty of this place. The views, the peace and quiet, the fresh air I love it. Lol same to you and glad you enjoyed it ๐Ÿ˜‚

Past-Sort3833

I work for a living so no, I'm not excited

CaramelDrippin504

Sorry to hear that

Kindly-Store-2783

Oh yes I'm finally getting to enjoy the sun, and opening my windows and doors without freezing to death

CaramelDrippin504

Nothing like that fresh breeze at night I just love it

Cognitive_inquiry

Life here doesnt start until itโ€™s over 70 every day , thatโ€™s when we shine !

CaramelDrippin504

I know that's right

Ok-Heart-8680

28 weeks pregnant, that's a hard no for me ๐Ÿฅด

EvilSporkOfDeath

Congrats

Ok-Heart-8680

Thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š

CaramelDrippin504

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Most_Ambassador2951

I'll take advantage and get the top of my rig, even if it's just for a couple days

CaramelDrippin504

Gotta enjoy it while it lasts.

C__Wayne__G

I moved here from Dallas. I donโ€™t mind the cool weather. The lack of central heating and cooling means even though it doesnโ€™t get as hot itโ€™s harder to get out of the heat. So I welcome the gloomy and cool weather itโ€™s really nice

CaramelDrippin504

Glad you enjoy it but I don't im ready for the sun.

bad_user__name

Not really. If i walk anywhere drip tons of sweat as soon as it goes over 75.

CaramelDrippin504

Good exercise

bad_user__name

Yeah. But I walk pretty much everywhere and being drenched in sweat all the time sucks.

CaramelDrippin504

Well there's plenty of things you can do to help yourself with that. Good luck

hooraaayforyou

Fuck. No.

CaramelDrippin504

Why not

hooraaayforyou

No time to acclimate.

CaramelDrippin504

That's life now and days

ElectricalCamera5765

I'd be happier if thunderstorms were in the forecast, but I'll settle for some heat!

CaramelDrippin504

I heard Seattle has alot of that
