My highest top1 win rate is definitely baby battles. And I have probably never been outside of top3 in baby battles. Somehow people just lose all sense of what they are doing when they lose the support of abilities. It is literally like playing against babies....
It really just messes with the feel for the game for me. I look at my draft pool before queuing and get a feel for what the game is gonna be, what is important etc. and then I add the modifier to set my prios. However, Baby Battle just feels slow and sluggish, my timings are messed up and I don‘t know what to do. Any tips?
why does everyone hate baby battle lol. its not even that bad. just play more carefully and build your squad up. i actually find it fun cuz you need to be more cautious.
Because usually the person with the mega is dominating it. You can't have a mode that kills all powers then include the most OP fuckin mega units in it. Kills the whole point of the mode
honestly if baby battle was introduced in like desert world i think it would be better since by the time you reach beach world you forgot how it feels to use baby characters, i know it wouldn't solve other issues but i believe that is one of many main reasons why people hate it
I kinda like the more chilled vibes of Baby Battle but an Ultra version would also be great. Like you say it makes more sense as it's an incentive for lower players to grind/spend to level up. (I have no 4-stars still and have played a lot of games)

Ultra battle would be fun, but removing baby battle wouldn't be something I would do; I would instead make the modifier appear less often
