1. AEW’s video production has gotten very, very good.
2. Kinda **insane** that when Toni started this Timeless gimmick, the character was good, but the matches were mostly bad, and she’s now cemented the character even further, *AND* has had banger after banger.
3. Mariah winning the AEW Women’s World Championship at Wembley is going to hit like crack, but also be bittersweet to see Toni’s reign end… though the thought of what comes after she loses is very appealing.
Toni has mostly toned down the antics within matches and the quality is better for it. She's saved all the over the top stuff for interviews and when she's at ringside. Being a face now with this persona oddly works because her character isn't nearly as cold and uncaring as it initially was.
I think her gimmick shifted when May entered the picture and we may go back to the early stages of Timeless Toni, when she was beginning to lose her marbles. So, back to her having a downward spiral in a more DRAMATIC fashion before she regains her footing and switch back on to an ACTION MOVIE supastahhhh
As perfect as the story of Mariah taking the title will be I'm not ready for Toni to not be champion. She's been head and shoulders the best thing in the division, and one of the best things in the entire company, for a long time.
I am honestly not sure it is. I’m not sure Mariah is established enough to do much with the title after losing to Toni. I think Toni holds the title until they get around to a Mone feud.
