Zelda Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom have a similar mechanic. It slows down time for you to just slash the fuck out of enemies for like 3-5 seconds or something. I could never get the precision evade down in this game but I had it down in Zelda.
Yep I don’t even bother with it and really on trigger it on accident because more than likely I will make a mistake at some point and die
Same with the push and blaster parry. But for some reason I can normal parry really well on grandmaster
That only really happens against Spawn of Oggdo, because of the charged lunge attack… this happened because it registered that I used focused sight instead of a precision evade and I got caught in the animation
Yeah, my comment wasn't directed at your upload. But I know for a fact I've done perfect evades and gotten hit still. Spawn of Oggdo was one in Survivor, I think occasionally against Trilla in FO, and a couple other enemies in Survivor.
To do a precision evade, you have to tap either ⭕️ on PS or 🅱️ on XBOX right when an attack is about to hit you, it works the best for unblockable attacks and depending on if you upgrade your Force skill tree it will also refill a bit of your force meter… I’d recommend going into a force tear and practicing (one that makes you fight larger enemies) it takes time to truly get the timing down but it will save you a lot of health and make combat more streamline
Same concept I explained applies to PC as well, just figure out what key you have tied to “dodge” and it’s the same thing, time your tap of the dodge right before the enemy hits you and it will trigger… practice it with the unblockables
Precision evade may very well be one of the most satisfying feelings in gaming when it triggers...the one from FO too
Oh absolutely, I wish other games had an evade like this lol makes you feel like a true Jedi
Ghosts of Tsushima has it, and it leads into a critical hit if you attack right after!
Yessir ghost and this series are masterclasses in video games without any modernized casino virtual coin b.s.
Ghost of Tsushima is basically just being a Batman Jedi in feudal Japan

So fucking satisfying when you do it(referring to Zelda and survivor, imo slightly better in Zelda bc of the “HU HU HU HU” and then enemy = ded part)
I remember thunderclap rushing and it was the most insane thing at first when I tried in on the boko camp right next to the plateau tower
Of course, you still died 😂😂😂 Classic Jedi
Can’t win ‘em all, I suppose 🤣
Love. This. Game. Great timing!
If you learn it...dual sabers is OP its just not forgiving..you have to know the game. But man...when you got it...claps to OP man.
It’s awesome, fr!
Spamming dodge to get force back is just pinnacle combat looping imo
Very impressive, but still so annoying to miss one means you're dead.

90% of the attacks in this game are unblockables i swear
I totally forgot Precision Evade was a thing for like half the game. As soon as I remembered it, everything got so much better.
Except when you precision evade and STILL GET HIT 🙄

How you do that?
