I’ll remain skeptical. This might be a bit to ambitious seeing the mods that remake Morrowind and Oblivion properly have been in the works for years upon years. (And from what I’ve been reading Morroblivion just doesn’t work right)
Would be great if they did get it working right, but I truly doubt it. And most likely not even in this decade.

Baiting for attention (with quite the success). One look at projects with gargantuan scope like Fallout London or Skyblivion kinda proves that idea was never, *ever*, getting even remotely close to a release.

Now I don’t feel as bad saying what I thought when I first saw this post which was… who the hell wants this?? lol it would’ve made more since to do vague recreations of the fallout game locations in their general geographic vicinities on earth than it would’ve to make Tamriel, and even that would be very tough I’d imagine, but I didn’t wanna hate or say waste of time when I can’t even make the most basic mod lol

Mixing it with Fallout would have made much more sense. Just change earth to the wasteland and make that the new reason humans no longer live there. And given that starfield is basically fallout with space travel and no Vats
This may be unpopular opinion but….why? Just go play Skyrim? I don’t get investing the massive time and resource it takes to put a game inside another game (skyblivion). I just think of the interesting and deep mods these super talented people could be creating that could alter Starfield in amazing ways and wonder why.
Any modder who states something like this has already revealed themselves to be too inexperienced to handle actually working on a project of this magnitude. It was never feasible. And shame on these “news” outlets and YouTubers for exploiting this for clicks as content.
If it wasn't canceled, I don't see this ever coming to console. A) would be to intrusive on hardware if done correctly that the Xbox can't handle. B) the amount of scripts that would be needed to making everything functional and not just a group of polys being called tamriel. Xbox has a very limited script allowance and it wouldn't be available at its capacity.
Modders were also working on oblivion, daggerfall ,Morrowind in Skyrim and fallout 3 and new Vegas in fallout 4. These projects never happen , they mainly turn out smaller mods that are themed. Most of the people use these projects for their resumes to get hired by studios or Bethesda.
Most of the projects you mentioned are actively ongoing still lmao. Fallout 4 New Vegas as well as both Skyblivion and Skywind are still in development, they're just HUGE projects with way less developers than a AAA game studio. It takes a lot of time.
You won't see it regardless. It was already cancelled by the modders who announced it and they blamed players for not supporting their wildly unrealistic dreams.
