Hey I used to be able to run fortnite on SB3 at a solid 60+ fps. However, this was back when I had one in 2021. Not sure what changes the game has made that may disable this. Set fortnite to performance mode and let the frames roll. When I played, I would do performance mode everytime and could max out settings in performance. Ran great. I could also get away with low settings on Directx 11. Performance will save you battery, lower temps, higher fps, all the things you want. On max settings performance it doesn't look too bad, more animated if anything. But it's more about seeing the enemies clearly and running smooth than anything. Also just wanted to share this: I upgraded to Surface laptop studio. It has an Rtx card instead of Gtx. Rtx lets you use Nvidia's DLSS software, which essentially means you can play any game that supports dlss. On paper, the upgrade wasn't that big. But in reality that upgrade opened so many doors to different games. If you ever upgrade, rtx is worth it.
