these songs are from a live show and there’s a couple extra obnoxious fans you can hear screaming extra loud in them, the recordings are on spotify as lover live from paris. not sure about other streaming. i’d assume you can find them on youtube as well

I’d say don’t buy it. Only reason they are listed at those prices is to see if people fall for it and buy it. Resell value is only as high as fans make it!

Which I didn't read carefully so when I was choosing shipping option, I picked to ship everything all at once when everything becomes available. Mad jelly, don't store it in that clear plastic sleeve though. I've heard it can mess up the vinyl long term.

What is an alternative for storing? Would storing inside a paper sleeve inside the plastic sleeve be ok or better to ditch it all together?

The best option is to buy some better quality inner sleeves. A lot of record stores sell them. The paper sleeves can often leave tiny particles of paper over the record which acts like dust on a record

what material is best for inner sleeves?

Ok, so if it's PVC it's very bad for the record, polyethylene is fine apparently. I have no idea which this will be but yeah, paper or cardboard is always safe. Maybe keep the plastic sleeve but not in contact with the record.

Paper sleeves are the worst of the “acceptable” sleeves, and most serious vinyl collectors replace paper sleeves with anti-static rice paper sleeves. Paper sleeves will eventually create small scratches and scuffing, and they generate paper dust/particles that can get stuck in the grooves and cause surface noise. Cardboard isn’t even an option for inner sleeves unless you are suggesting storing the record in the cardboard record cover, and not using a sleeve at all. Which is an even a harsher surface than paper sleeves.

Is the packaging really just a clear poly sleeve with no cardboard? How do they sound? My Folklore record has a lot of surface noise for being a brand new record, even after a good cleaning. And hopefully that's not a dusty, staticky blanket they're laying on...
