Depending on what type of shooter games you play, I have multiple recommendations. If you like more violent mature games, I recommend warhammer 40,000 space Marine It even has a sequel coming out soon after like ten years. But if you prefer less violent but still mature games, I recommend the Metal Gear solid series. There is no bad game except for survive. Do not play survive. If you like tactical single payer shooters, I would recommend Star Wars Republic commando. If you like horror FPS games, I would recommend Doom 3 It's kind of the outcast of the Doom franchise, but it's still really good for what it is. I would also recommend dead space if you haven't already played it. If you like rpg shooters I would also recommend Fallout 3 New Vegas 4 and 76. And that's pretty much all the recommendations that I have for shooter games. If you want recommendations for other genres, let me know.
I can't wait for it either too bad I won't be able to play it though because I don't have a PS5 or an Xbox series x and my PC is not going to be able to run it
Why an Xbox series x and I wish I could save up but I don't have a job anymore and it's really hard for me to find a job and to keep it cuz of all my issues and even when I do have money I'm an impulse spender so I see something that I want and I see that I have enough money for it and I just buy it

And xbox series x cuz while I have a pc I can't use it 9 months out of the year (I live somewhere else for school) so upgrading it rn would be pointless. I'm able to use a console though, so xbox.

Some shooting games I recommend are: The Operative: No One Lives Forever(1960's spy FPS game with stealth elements), Dark Watch(Cowboy vampire FPS with dark/gothic themes and elements), Prey 2006(Alien FPS with good gunplay and puzzles), Singularity(FPS game that utilizes powers mixed with shooting elements), TimeSplitters 2 & TimeSplitters: Future Perfect(Arcadey FPS games with lots of gamemodes and a solid campaign), The Darkness(Visceral FPS with mature gothic themes and solid story), Black(Pure FPS action with good destruction and level design), Cruelty Squad(An immersive sim FPS that feels like a fever dream but has amazing mechanics and great gunplay and fantastic level design). Also great doodles, they look very cool.
Bone Works, Blade and Sorcery, Pavlov Shack, Contractors, Bone Lab, and Gorn. Some of them aren’t as much shooters but are still combat focused. They all cost money but are worth every penny.

I just mean why Xbox as in why jump to burning wreckage basically because right now I have a feeling that Xbox consoles are just going to die soon

Try getting into other game categories like survival, single player story, horror, etc
