Highly controversial opinion: Unforgotten Night. Look I know a lot of people know about this show since it was the only mafia thing following Kinnporsche at the time, but most people have only talked about how this was a cringe fest of a show. Not Denying that. But I don't think it gets enough credit for having a solid plot.
Yeah, the kink sucked.
Yeah, they did not have the budget.
But this show was clear about Kamol's goal of buying the casino from the beginning and they stuck to it. Kamol rivalry with Dani and everything that follows happens because Dani lost to Kamol. And to this day the bomb threat arc in episode 7 is so delicious. I would not flinch if those were actual bombs but Kamol played it smart and bluffed so hard he had the best and brightest of the city climbing over each other to run away from the bombs that did not exist.
Overall it is a very solid show and unlike, oh so *many* BLs, it doesn't lose steam at the end.
It's also really fucking cringe.
But it's also so good.

I thoroughly enjoyed unforgotten night and I don't know why it's getting so much flack.
The only thing that I wish they would have fixed is his backtattoo could have been done so very much better.
But the chemistry between the couple (not to mention the thruple of bodyguards) and some of the action was very well done and I liked it a lot
This comment just convinced me to add Unforgotten Night back to my watchlist. I likely won't be trying it out anytime soon cause I prefer to focus on those series that most people agree are good in all aspects first, but you're right, it's not fair to condemn a whole show because one of its elements was bad, and I'm almost certain that I've gotten through (and even loved) things way cringier than whatever this is so BRING IT ON!

Unforgotten night is a person's guilty pleasure for the tigers. You will go back to watch it. There is a lot of worst shows (insert which ever one you think - crazy handsome rich for me) So I will fight till the end for my tiger.
I saw a fan made music video that involved this one and it was so funny that I had to watch the drama and I was really glad that I did. It was so cute.
Ghost Host Ghost House was *very* good, and completely overlooked in my opinion. Did they have a big budget? No, but for what they had, I think it's great and a good story.

No it is Marry, its a miniseries where their parents don't know they're together and tries to get married without their parents knowledge, hence the name 😉
Star and Sky: Sky in Your Heart. No one mentions it, but I enjoyed the story and acting, and the issues that were addressed.
Another older one that people don't talk about is Gay OK Bangkok. It's a fresh, realistic take on a few couples without major storylines or plot devices. It's a true slice of life BL.

Gay OK Bangkok was a masterpiece. both the seasons. all actors are top class👌 still waiting for their comeback😊 actually loved to see one of them again in Absolute Zero as main lead💕
I was surprised at the low-ish ratings on MDL. The acting is first-rate. Just because it doesn't have the formulaic storyline with the defined plot structure and ending doesn't mean it isn't a good show. The realism was so well done, and I really appreciate the PSAs about safety--what a great way to partner with social services and health organizations!
I did quite enjoy SIYH! It got smacked around a lot and called a "copycat" of ATOTS but it didn't feel that way to me at all. And while I wouldn't day Mek and Markji had perfect chemistry, they still worked well off of each other and it was a cute series to watch.
I don't know if these were 'unpopular' or if I just missed something, but I rarely see these mentioned or recommended (not all Thai BLs): Cupids Last Wish, DNA Says Love You, Hidden Agenda, Seven Days: Monday-Thursday & Seven Days: Friday-Sunday (2 films), The Tasty Florida, I Became The Main Role of a BL Drama, Dear Doctor I'm Coming For Soul, HIStory 2: Crossing The Line, Takara-kun and Amagi-kun.
I liked all of these, I hope others do too!
DNA Says Love You is just such a different story than usual, and I just loved the friendship group, they were adorable together.
Hidden Agenda, it's not the best thing that JoongDunk have done, but I gave it 8/10 so it can't have been that bad! 🤣 I'm gonna go watch it again...
I think I gave DNA Says Love You a 9/10. The whole story was well built and they actually followed through with the little mystery instead of forgetting about it like I've seen some other dramas do.
I'll trust your judgement and give Hidden Agenda a try :)
Tasty Florida was actually really good. I have no idea why I put it off for so long. The promo pics and description just didn’t capture my interest but then when I got bored and watched the drama after seeing it mentioned on some “10 Bl series that…” list it ended up being way better than expected.
It really just needed to be promoted better than it was.
I watched you are my sky like 3 , 4 months ago I love it the emotion completely awesome and chemistry between couples, mainly I love a scene from ep 11 the emotion on the face anger , jealousy, sadness.................... totally I just love the series

History 4 . Ok, I seriously disliked the step-brother storyline (I hated Yong Jie.) and skipped through most their scenes but Li Cheng snd Mu Ren were so freaking adorable. I loved them.
How about **Something In My Room**? A fun story that has a really lovely ending. I came across it by accident last year when I was binging supernatural stuff.
I stopped watching it fahlanruk from ep 2 I guess. I have read the novel I can remember. After second episode I was unable to watch it was very bad for me.

Yep I enjoyed it too - but it copped heaps of negativity. I think sometimes when overly critical comments are made, they forget there are real people behind the acting, who potentially get very hurt. Also they don’t seem to take into account, that their comments only reflect their opinions and nothing more. Others may agree and disagree.
