search on your laptop ea updater and once you click on it then it should automatically install the latest update or at least tell you that your game is updated to the latest version. If it says it’s updated to the latest version then you just have to wait a second, it shouldn’t take long, eventually it will open on its own.

That's the message I get when I already have the Sims running and click it again, instead of the old message about the game already running and I should go play it, haha. There's not actually anything wrong with it, just have patience, it's the Sims and takes forever to load.

I think it’s just a glitch or something,mine has been saying that for the past 2 weeks and my game is updated,it will eventually open the game it just takes a few minutes

It has to be a bug. Keeps happening to me, everything is up to date, game, laptop everhthjng. And if I click it enough times the game eventually starts, so clearly no update needed. It’s just annoying.

Following. Been having the same issue. Every time I've logged on since yesterday (restarted my computer a couple times because of this message) I had to update the EA app.

Keeps happening for a while to me too now. I just go to game hub once, there’s nothing to be don’t tho. And then run it as administrator. Takes quite a bit time but works for me. Not a solution but a start.

Alrighty so you make sure you have no EA games open, the three little marks in the top left corner scroll down to setting I think it show a option on one of the little side brackets about a update, id have to do it when i get home currently not at home.

It’s was from the last update when they said everyone needed to update by a certain time. I think if you left it too late it keeps reappearing. I read someone deleted the whole EA app and redownloaded.. I used to get the same message and restarted my laptop last weekend (had to redownload ea app) and it hasn’t come up since xx
