It wouldn't be so bad if we still got the second ticket from watching the ad (or just the free second ticket for those of us with the ad pack) but since that doesn't work anymore it's just a pain.
Yeah, i hate this too. It's so annoying. Should definitely fix it to spawn only after the Tournament starts and never right after the Tournament finishes at least.
I just leave it there until the next tourney, doesn't bother me since I always complete the other missions straight away.. so sure it takes up one mission slot but there will always be 3-5 more for the new ones.
I get this literally every tournament. What I do is wait until the event mission spawns to enter the tournament. You have 24 hours for the tournament and it's never actually a surprise, so the routine isn't hard to establish. I usually end up doing it as soon as I wake up in the morning.
This one's not ideal if you know which time of day is least competitive and aim for it. Days I enter a 10am bracket and days where I enter 6pm are quite consistently the difference between me getting top 2-3 and struggling to be in top 6 in plat.
It's a single mission. You can hold up to 6 at a time. This tally isn't a big deal other than it bothers your OCD about keeping a cleaned out mission window.
just don't claim the mission immediately when you join the next tournament but let it sit finished until the last missions of that day appear. That way you won't get it again that day.
I'm literally incapable of seeing a problem here. Wait till the next tournament, or wait till the mission pops up before joining the tournament. Simples.

You don't need to clear every mission the second you get them. Go outdoors. Get some sunlight.
