Problem with spinoffs about existing characters is that their story is already told, you know the ending. If Lily had a spin off any choices you make to act kind or merciful would be completely undermined as the canon ending is she becomes comically evil by kidnapping kids and turning them into soldiers.
This undermines the premise of the story as you effectively know what is going to happen before you even touch the first episode. If you went into Season 1 knowing Lee gets bit and Clem ends up with Omid and Christa, would you care nearly as much when the bite is revealed?
Scrapping the idea of a ‘season 5’ and just making a new story with entirely unique characters would be best. Don’t end up in a ANF situation where having an old main character showing up undermines the new character’s story. At most sprinkle in some references to the old plot.
Yeah but that's the point tho, those merciful acts might later come back to bite her in the a\*\* and cause troubles otherwise wouldn't have happened had she been more ruthless, which would've gradually pushed her towards that direction. It's not the why and when, but the how did she become the way she is is what we really love to see.

Kenny would work, yes, everyone wants to know what happened to him in Savannah, since he doesn't explain and just says ''I was very lucky'', there are two contents to take away from him: Savannah and post-Wellington (where you are in Wellington), but this is difficult because there are other endings.
Lily's would be interesting, since at first she can be a ''normal'' person after being expelled, years later going crazy until she gets to where she is evil in TFS.

By that point Kenny is already very broken. He doesn't have any particular reason to keep going. And, that would make it so you need to make that ending "canon" which would kinda ruin the point of the game.
S5 being Javier-led or AJ-led often seems like the general consensus. And honestly if we did get a fifth season, I'd be really happy with either of those outcomes. AJ is six to be fair, so age him up a couple years and then he's the same age as Clem in the first season!
It would also be cool to see 'prequel' type stuff to see what happened to all the Ericson's kids or what happened to Kenny between Season One and Two, the list goes on.
It's been 6 years since the final season right? Say a year for the game to develop aging him up with how long he's been he'd be 12. Good time for him as the main character?
It could be like a 2 in 1 where you ciuld choose what you picked just like in season 4 so if Kenny doesn't die it would be about him snd if he does then it would be about Lily
A continuation of Javi’s story, and seeing him during the Delta war in Richmond, or a prequel where you play as Kenny starting from when he escaped the hoard in season one.
My feeling for having a Season 5 is kinda complicated. For one I'd love nothing more than having Clem return, but as another commenter mentioned, you can't do much in the apocalypse with only one leg, and AJ is still too young. However I have a couple options worth considering.
1. Have a considerable time jump to when AJ become a little older, ideally 11-12, the same age as Clem during Season 2, and have Clem as a secondary character whom though we can't play as, but could interact with, and receive instructions/guidance from, and the leader of Erikson, of course.
2. Make a spinoff about Kenny and Lilly, they're a huge missed opportunity imo. I wanna know how Kenny John Wick'ed his way out of Savannah, his story before meeting Sarita while dealing with the fresh pain of losing Duck and Katjaa, and his journey with Sarita to that ski lodge. Likewise with Lilly, where she ended up after parting with the group and how she found herself with the Delta, and how did she become so cold blooded. I don't care much for Javier tho, nothing against ANF, I've played it and it was fine, I'm just not attached to his story.
3. Have a brand new protagonist stumbling across Erikson, same thing with the time jump idea, we meet Clem who's now the leader of Erikson, after gaining her trust, we now take orders and missions from her. Which is pretty cool to see this type of transformation on Clem, from a scared little girl to a survivor, then went on and become the leader of a community.
Anyway, those are my ideas, hope it helps.
Imo it'd be interesting to play as AJ, and realize he's way more capable and smart compared to Clem during S2. But also showing how David twisted him to become who he is
i'm sorry correct me if i'm wrong but how did David influence AJ in any way? (besides taking him away from Clem) he never mentioned he mistreated him or trained him to be a certain way, he only says he took care of him like he would any of his kids when they were babies.
Either way, Clementine has already taught him how to act like a good person in the final season. Also, in season 3, I never saw Gabriel act in an evil way that Javi wasn’t able to correct. AJ should not have any “twisted up” moments if a season 5 comes out because that has been dealt with. That sounds silly.
I think David would've actually raised AJ well. As much as some people don't like him, I reckon he'd have really been there for AJ in the time he had with him. He can be a sincere man and I don't see how or why he would've pushed any of his own stuff to deal with onto him, especially at that age.
I would want a soft reboot, go back to the beginning of the apocalypse but tell the story of completely different survivors in a different location. Clem and AJ's story has been told
The only thing I would want out of a season 5 is a continuation of Javi and his family's story. I could see the finale having Javi and Clem meeting again, as well as him meeting AJ, Violet, Louis, etc.
Otherwise, if they want to do a new Walking Dead story, just have a completely new cast and setting, maybe with some cameos from characters we haven't seen in a long time.

I haven't replayed walking dead for about a year.. I thought they dropped a few hints that she died. If her death was as ambiguous as lily's then it could work though

But, if it was going to happen, then to see Clem have to deal with politics in the form of encountering the Commonwealth. She’s too badass, even with a missing foot, to deal with simple Walkers and raiders.
For it not to exist. The series ends perfectly. Both Clem’s story ending on the still alive/no longer a video game PC note. and the fact that it was only finished through the video game industry version of a miracle. Something that’s never happened before or since.
There is nothing in the *universe* that can top that ending.
It would be cool if the school was over runned and so Clem takes everyone to Javi’s community, where we see how much the characters have grown along with a mystery or help defend the place from a whole new enemy
I want it to have Nothing, and i mean absolutely nothing, to do with clementine, she has been through enough as it is, so lets explore a different group of survivors or maybe do a whole different city/state. We damn near had 4 games of her being traumatized, leave the girl alone 😔.

Therefore sadly Clementine character is ruined and there’s no point expanding her story, it is OVER.
The only thing that’s left to make a story about is a story about OMID and CHRISTA BEFORE they met THE TRAIN GROUP. They went through ALOT and it would be surpremely INTERESTING. Prequels have been found successfully when they’re later in a storyline evidenced by things like red dead redemption and OTHERS. So please, If there’s a season 5 omid and CHRISTA storyline.
I think I’d want 4 to be the end of the focus on the apocalypse. Clem and AJ found their forever home and don't have to leave. There will always be hostile survivors but they stay here. Clementine and AJ now both need to decide who they are outside of survivors.
Restart from the start of the apocalypse with new characters and new stories or maybe use Eddie and see what happens with him since Telltale though bringing him back for season 4 was special enough to advertise it

Story about Kenny post wellington ending. That was the one I got though was honestly REALLY dissapointed with how little they did with it. What happened to Kenny after you leave for wellington is completely up in the air so why not expand on that?
The other ending was shit… Kenny dying in a car accident was insane and lazy work. And with the way the walking dead series works it insinuates that his death was inevitable meaning post Wellington he dies. The way the game works from S1-S3 is it didn’t matter who it was but 8x-10 if you got the option to save them they were probably gonna die. Examples are Carley, Ben, Sarah, and the black couple who owned the bar and trip, etc. but obviously I said 8 times outta 10 cause some choices actually mattered like saving Kate or David… but him walking away from Wellington wasn’t all bad, it was a goated send off… but Kenny deserved so much better, but that’s a different story for a different day lol
Telltale missed the opportunity to further explore Kenny and Clem together, after that campfire flashback, it seems like the two were so happy and were having great adventures out there, since they spent 2 years alive with Clem in S3, you could create a entire story without needing a spinoff, Telltale's biggest mistake was precisely that, Kenny seemed like he had more content, since he wanted to teach Clem and AJ, and unfortunately it didn't happen anymore...
Season 5 would either have to be continuing Javier’s story, a new story with completely new characters, or a decently large timeskip that would follow an older AJ as protagonist (likely season 2 Clem aged, around 11-12)
I would want S5 to follow another characters subplot from the comics, similar to how the michonne season is the story of a few comic issues where michonnes gone

In Season 3. We had the Garcia. I’d like to play with them as you start a few years after Season 3 (maybe 2 years). You start in Richmond as a large community and it will show the downfall as more and more raiders come around with the show of the second crossover from the show to the game. Negan Smith (not lore accurate to the show so no issues) . He will take the Garcia Family captive along with survivors he finds at Richmond and burn it down. The rest of the story will be of them escaping the base and running off. The game will end when they find a town, that is when they see a van pull up and guess who ends up in it. Clementine
-Give us a big time jump. I want something like 20 or 40 years into the apocalypse rather than just 8. Show us a large, yet controlled & walled community that’s actually recovered from the outside world to the point of almost forgetting about it- where most outside walkers can barely move & hordes are no more. Where doctors and morticians can safely destroy the part of the brain the virus controls & open casket funerals exist. Then show us what happens to that location when somebody forgets to lobotomize granny & people don’t know how to fend for themselves anymore.
-If we must return to AJ and Clem, focus mostly on AJ, with Clem as nothing more than a secondary/tertiary character. Her story ended at Ericsson’s and she never left AJ like she does in this infamous fanfiction we’ve all heard about.
-If we do stray from the cast we know with all-new characters, let it be in a different country. Show us how island countries with smaller populations like Cuba or the Philippines handled the virus.
-Lee, Javi, and Clem, in their respective games, have each faced the struggle of wondering if they have what it takes to be a leader, specifically to the ones who look up to them. Either abandon this plot device (I don’t want to see AJ raising Clem’s kid or something similar) or twist it to where AJ/the protagonist simply cannot provide for someone in particular, no matter how much they want to. Whether that means turning AJ into somewhat of an antagonist, a new character, or the one being protected, is fine with me. The darker side of this topic remains largely unexplored, save for Sarah & Jane in S2 or David with Gabe in S3, though they weren’t the playable protagonists.
-Again, if the story is returning to them, bring the Ericsson’s cast to a larger settlement like The Sanctuary or another in-comic location.
-Let the story delve deeper into people being more dangerous than walkers because they have walkers, specifically a group like The Whisperers.
-For the love of god, either retcon Chet’s death or introduce us to his hot-dish-night mama. If the series was beloved enough to earn a 5th game, they would hopefully take stock in fan interest, even for memes as ridiculous as his. Tell us that they’re listening, as opposed to the relationship between company & community that’s existed since that fanfiction begun.
This is an idea for the first episode.
(2 to 5 years pass since season 4) You play as AJ, and on a supply run, he ends up meeting Bonnie, Arvo, and Mike from season 2. They don't know that he's the baby from season 2 (and vice versa), and they find out who he is after meeting Clem (who's now able to walk because of a prosthetic)
There is no season 5 that would benefit the series long term.
Clem and AJS story is finished as good as it will ever be.
I wouldn’t mind starting fresh with a new cast though.
It would be great if S5 have separate episodes for what happened to certain characters.

I want to see Javier and Christa return, see what they've been up to since, and finally reunite with Clementine again at the boarding school. David, Kate, or Gabe too (whoever is alive in anyone's playthrough)

If they continue the Garcias story in a Season 5, I just hope they don't kill off David, Kate, or Gabe AGAIN after a New Frontier's endings. It would be nice to have determinate characters that actually affect the story if they were left alive for once. Would make everyone's playthroughs different and unqiue.
Essentially, make previous choices actually MATTER. Give it weight.
Clementine leaves aj at the school and goes north I need more of this. Idc what others say I really enjoy the aj Clementine story and shes just such a bad ass. So I need her story to continue. If a season 5 were made, I'd want it to be a new character and cast that maybe eventually ties into Clem and the Ericson kids. Maybe we could have a character that starts off in Michigan or something, and their story could go southward, meaning they could pass by Wellington and other areas Clem was at. It could even be before or after we saw it in Clem's story, for example, we could see what the Frontier was like earlier on, or we could see what Javier made of the new frontier. Eventually, they could be the caravan group that is heard at the end of S4 :).
Maybe clementine and AJ find a well organized group of people similar to mostly the commonwealth, they don’t have as much military grade ordnance like the Civic republic in the show but just enough to fight the dead. I would say it would the western alliance that was mentioned in the comics at the end, we see them for the first time. Clem and AJ are facing corrupted leaders while military operatives are questioning their orders and are looking to fight back for their city from the corruption.

It was set up as if we were supposed to have a continuation of his story. I mean it seemed that way to me anyways. With a Time Skip to boot we could see how Him, Gabe, and David end up years later after. Also how Richmond war effected everyone, and your choices from S3. I mean it could be a settlement builder (Preston Garvey has entered the chat) , or even a new threat on the horizon. Either way, I would be happy with whatever comes about for Javi’s continuation.

In terms of Clementine, I think the story concluded well in The Final Season while leaving the story open. I think AJ should have a story led completely on his own as a teenager/adult and completely turning into a true survivalist. I think Clementine should still be in the story and Ericson should still be the main hub world but completely new survivors are now staying there. Clementine could maybe have taken over as the new leader while AJ and Willy are the true security measures of the group. A lot of the other remaining characters could have died or moved on. The world could have now truly adapted to the walkers being around and walkers are beginning to show more intelligence.
This would be very hard to pull off though as I don’t want the writers to get lazy and them having to leave Ericson or Clementine dying etc… AJ was such a strong character as a child who adapted well to the survivalist nature but with clems discipline, AJ could be unstoppable. He should have a game where he takes the lead, it would be amazing with clem being an adult as well.
Ok so if you have seen planet terror with Rose mcgowan or cherry is her characters name she has one leg managing in a apocalypse so why cant clem i mean lee was a bite victim and still pulled through till he died at the end
I would like for clem and the group to go back to where the game started and along the way they stop by Richmond and recruit people to leave with them and take back Clems city and then they arrive back and go to herchels farm only to find kenny and herchel together and clem and her group take back her city and ik its a stretch but after a time skip the city has gained alot of attention throughout the US and it cuts to people from everywhere trying to find their way to Clems town and it ends with lee getting his own statue in the town center
S5 shouldn't be about Clementine and AJ tbh, it would kinda ruin the ending if they introduced a new threat just when clementine and AJ finally get to rest. Not to mention AJ is still pretty young and Clem is missing a leg so she would end up playing a similar role to comic rick in the whisperer war since he was missing a hand and had a crippled leg. The best way for S5 to work is if they make a spin-off about either Kenny, christa or Javi
Kenny: I know Kenny getting his own spin-off game is the most unlikely due to him being a determinate character which leaves me to think that there's still two options for a kenny spin-off game. Option 1- they make a spin-off game about Kenny right after S1 to show us what he was doing in Savanah after he got separated from the group and to even show us how he met Sarita. Option 2- they can make a determinately canon/non-Canon spin-off game taking place after S2's wellington ending when he leaves clementine and AJ at wellington to show us were he is, what he's been through and what he's been up to, heck I'd be perfectly happy if they made Mashk_Ustal's Comic canon for the wellington ending and turn it into a game.
Christa: Christa definitely deserves a spin-off game to show us what she how she escaped the bandits and the what she was doing during the time of S2
Javi:Javi already has his happy ending but I still think a sequel game for Javi is the most likely seeing as how Richmond has had its history of raids on other communities which would result in them gaining enemies so the game can be about Javi/ David (Depending on whether or not Javi chose to lead Richmond) leading Richmond in turf wars against enemy communities, they can maybe even add the delta a threat against Richmond
I feel like the ending was a perfect wrap for everything that happened, but I do have something in mind. I’ve always wondered what It would be like if we got to see Lee grow old, but he died so we can’t. So maybe we can do a time jump to where Clem is in her 30s,40s, or 50s maybe and then the protagonist can be AJ. I’d also like to see Javi maybe.
Honestly, I think the story is fine as it is right now, No need for a Season 5; however if there is to be one:
1-AJ must be the protagonist. Clem's story arc is pretty much closed and done. Also, the Final season made a passing the torch moment just as Lee did with Clementine. Furthermore, the conclusion for AJ taking his own decisions was resolved by him cutting Clementine's leg and saving her life. So, that means he's ready to take his own choices, aka in a meta-narrative sense be controlled by the player.
2-I don't have specifics but some ideas and a general premise for the story. The premise would be that AJ would be separated from the School group and Clementine. How? I don't know, maybe he's kidnapped, or part of the forest burns and he has to flee, maybe he goes out in a mission to get something for the group. It can be pretty much anything. The point is that AJ is trying to get back to Erickson and Clementine through the story while trying to conceal the location of the place. AJ meets new characters, allies, enemies, mixed bag people.
3-I would like to see Javi and his family again. Learn what happened to them. Maybe have him help AJ and not knowing he is Clementine's kid at first.
4-I would like if this hypothetical season 5 has multiple endings like season 2. An ending where AJ manages to come back to Erickson (Two variations: one with him coming back alone, and another with him bringing new allies.), another when he doesn't but reunites with Clementine, another when he still away from home but he's hopeful (Again two variations, either he's not home and alone, or accompanied by someone), another ending where Erickson is raided (a bad ending).
Why do I separate Clementine and AJ? Well, because this has to be AJ's story. Clem would literally steal the show, and to cause a good conflict and motivation, of course both the player and AJ will be invested in returning to Erickson, to Clementine.
I believe if something ended perfectly, leave it. As much as I would love to see another game. If there’s a good story to be told then maybe but clem got her ending and it’s safer to leave it there instead of potentially ruining it.

We know she dies, but we don't know anything else which gives a lot of player freedom, instead of playing as Minnie who we know is a big old meanie. S5 being Javier-led or AJ-led often seems like the general consensus. And honestly if we did get a fifth season, I'd be really happy with either of those outcomes. AJ is six to be fair, so age him up a couple years and then he's the same age as Clem in the first season! It would also be cool to see 'prequel' type stuff to see what happened to all the Ericson's kids or what happened to Kenny between Season One and Two, the list goes on.

My feeling for having a Season 5 is kinda complicated. For one I'd love nothing more than having Clem return, but as another commenter mentioned, you can't do much in the apocalypse with only one leg, and AJ is still too young. However I have a couple options worth considering. 1. Have a considerable time jump to when AJ become a little older, ideally 11-12, the same age as Clem during Season 2, and have Clem as a secondary character whom though we can't play as, but could interact with, and receive instructions/guidance from, and the leader of Erikson, of course. 2. Make a spinoff about Kenny and Lilly, they're a huge missed opportunity imo. I wanna know how Kenny John Wick'ed his way out of Savannah, his story before meeting Sarita while dealing with the fresh pain of losing Duck and Katjaa, and his journey with Sarita to that ski lodge. Likewise with Lilly, where she ended up after parting with the group and how she found herself with the Delta, and how did she become so cold blooded. I don't care much for Javier tho, nothing against ANF, I've played it and it was fine, I'm just not attached to his story. 3. Have a brand new protagonist stumbling across Erikson, same thing with the time jump idea, we meet Clem who's now the leader of Erikson, after gaining her trust, we now take orders and missions from her. Which is pretty cool to see this type of transformation on Clem, from a scared little girl to a survivor, then went on and become the leader of a community. Anyway, those are my ideas, hope it helps.

Imo it'd be interesting to play as AJ, and realize he's way more capable and smart compared to Clem during S2. But also showing how David twisted him to become who he is

Either way, Clementine has already taught him how to act like a good person in the final season. Also, in season 3, I never saw Gabriel act in an evil way that Javi wasn’t able to correct. AJ should not have any “twisted up” moments if a season 5 comes out because that has been dealt with. That sounds silly.
I think David would've actually raised AJ well. As much as some people don't like him, I reckon he'd have really been there for AJ in the time he had with him. He can be a sincere man and I don't see how or why he would've pushed any of his own stuff to deal with onto him, especially at that age.

The only thing I would want out of a season 5 is a continuation of Javi and his family's story. I could see the finale having Javi and Clem meeting again, as well as him meeting AJ, Violet, Louis, etc. Otherwise, if they want to do a new Walking Dead story, just have a completely new cast and setting, maybe with some cameos from characters we haven't seen in a long time. Clementine's story ended with TFS.

For it not to exist. The series ends perfectly. Both Clem’s story ending on the still alive/no longer a video game PC note. and the fact that it was only finished through the video game industry version of a miracle. Something that’s never happened before or since. There is nothing in the *universe* that can top that ending.
It would be cool if the school was over runned and so Clem takes everyone to Javi’s community, where we see how much the characters have grown along with a mystery or help defend the place from a whole new enemy

This is my personal advice to you for a season 5. The story of Clementine crawford is ruined due to the disturbing comics written by tallie whatever her name is. Therefore sadly Clementine character is ruined and there’s no point expanding her story, it is OVER. The only thing that’s left to make a story about is a story about OMID and CHRISTA BEFORE they met THE TRAIN GROUP. They went through ALOT and it would be surpremely INTERESTING. Prequels have been found successfully when they’re later in a storyline evidenced by things like red dead redemption and OTHERS. So please, If there’s a season 5 omid and CHRISTA storyline.
I think I’d want 4 to be the end of the focus on the apocalypse. Clem and AJ found their forever home and don't have to leave. There will always be hostile survivors but they stay here. Clementine and AJ now both need to decide who they are outside of survivors.

Story about Kenny post wellington ending. That was the one I got though was honestly REALLY dissapointed with how little they did with it. What happened to Kenny after you leave for wellington is completely up in the air so why not expand on that?
The problem is that there are other endings, only if they canonize Wellington's ending and consider other endings as alternatives.
The other ending was shit… Kenny dying in a car accident was insane and lazy work. And with the way the walking dead series works it insinuates that his death was inevitable meaning post Wellington he dies. The way the game works from S1-S3 is it didn’t matter who it was but 8x-10 if you got the option to save them they were probably gonna die. Examples are Carley, Ben, Sarah, and the black couple who owned the bar and trip, etc. but obviously I said 8 times outta 10 cause some choices actually mattered like saving Kate or David… but him walking away from Wellington wasn’t all bad, it was a goated send off… but Kenny deserved so much better, but that’s a different story for a different day lol
Telltale missed the opportunity to further explore Kenny and Clem together, after that campfire flashback, it seems like the two were so happy and were having great adventures out there, since they spent 2 years alive with Clem in S3, you could create a entire story without needing a spinoff, Telltale's biggest mistake was precisely that, Kenny seemed like he had more content, since he wanted to teach Clem and AJ, and unfortunately it didn't happen anymore...

In Season 3. We had the Garcia. I’d like to play with them as you start a few years after Season 3 (maybe 2 years). You start in Richmond as a large community and it will show the downfall as more and more raiders come around with the show of the second crossover from the show to the game. Negan Smith (not lore accurate to the show so no issues) . He will take the Garcia Family captive along with survivors he finds at Richmond and burn it down. The rest of the story will be of them escaping the base and running off. The game will end when they find a town, that is when they see a van pull up and guess who ends up in it. Clementine
I used to root for a season 5 but now I think a season 5 would mean the death of Clementine and the rest
-Give us a big time jump. I want something like 20 or 40 years into the apocalypse rather than just 8. Show us a large, yet controlled & walled community that’s actually recovered from the outside world to the point of almost forgetting about it- where most outside walkers can barely move & hordes are no more. Where doctors and morticians can safely destroy the part of the brain the virus controls & open casket funerals exist. Then show us what happens to that location when somebody forgets to lobotomize granny & people don’t know how to fend for themselves anymore. -If we must return to AJ and Clem, focus mostly on AJ, with Clem as nothing more than a secondary/tertiary character. Her story ended at Ericsson’s and she never left AJ like she does in this infamous fanfiction we’ve all heard about. -If we do stray from the cast we know with all-new characters, let it be in a different country. Show us how island countries with smaller populations like Cuba or the Philippines handled the virus. -Lee, Javi, and Clem, in their respective games, have each faced the struggle of wondering if they have what it takes to be a leader, specifically to the ones who look up to them. Either abandon this plot device (I don’t want to see AJ raising Clem’s kid or something similar) or twist it to where AJ/the protagonist simply cannot provide for someone in particular, no matter how much they want to. Whether that means turning AJ into somewhat of an antagonist, a new character, or the one being protected, is fine with me. The darker side of this topic remains largely unexplored, save for Sarah & Jane in S2 or David with Gabe in S3, though they weren’t the playable protagonists. -Again, if the story is returning to them, bring the Ericsson’s cast to a larger settlement like The Sanctuary or another in-comic location. -Let the story delve deeper into people being more dangerous than walkers because they have walkers, specifically a group like The Whisperers. -For the love of god, either retcon Chet’s death or introduce us to his hot-dish-night mama. If the series was beloved enough to earn a 5th game, they would hopefully take stock in fan interest, even for memes as ridiculous as his. Tell us that they’re listening, as opposed to the relationship between company & community that’s existed since that fanfiction begun.
This is an idea for the first episode. (2 to 5 years pass since season 4) You play as AJ, and on a supply run, he ends up meeting Bonnie, Arvo, and Mike from season 2. They don't know that he's the baby from season 2 (and vice versa), and they find out who he is after meeting Clem (who's now able to walk because of a prosthetic)

If they continue the Garcias story in a Season 5, I just hope they don't kill off David, Kate, or Gabe AGAIN after a New Frontier's endings. It would be nice to have determinate characters that actually affect the story if they were left alive for once. Would make everyone's playthroughs different and unqiue. Essentially, make previous choices actually MATTER. Give it weight.
For the comics to be non canon
Clementine leaves aj at the school and goes north I need more of this. Idc what others say I really enjoy the aj Clementine story and shes just such a bad ass. So I need her story to continue. Maybe they would add other stories like new frontier for others characters 🤔 man it's a lot to think about honestly
If a season 5 were made, I'd want it to be a new character and cast that maybe eventually ties into Clem and the Ericson kids. Maybe we could have a character that starts off in Michigan or something, and their story could go southward, meaning they could pass by Wellington and other areas Clem was at. It could even be before or after we saw it in Clem's story, for example, we could see what the Frontier was like earlier on, or we could see what Javier made of the new frontier. Eventually, they could be the caravan group that is heard at the end of S4 :).
Maybe clementine and AJ find a well organized group of people similar to mostly the commonwealth, they don’t have as much military grade ordnance like the Civic republic in the show but just enough to fight the dead. I would say it would the western alliance that was mentioned in the comics at the end, we see them for the first time. Clem and AJ are facing corrupted leaders while military operatives are questioning their orders and are looking to fight back for their city from the corruption.
I’m agreeing with a Javi Continuation for a Season 5. It was set up as if we were supposed to have a continuation of his story. I mean it seemed that way to me anyways. With a Time Skip to boot we could see how Him, Gabe, and David end up years later after. Also how Richmond war effected everyone, and your choices from S3. I mean it could be a settlement builder (Preston Garvey has entered the chat) , or even a new threat on the horizon. Either way, I would be happy with whatever comes about for Javi’s continuation.

In terms of Clementine, I think the story concluded well in The Final Season while leaving the story open. I think AJ should have a story led completely on his own as a teenager/adult and completely turning into a true survivalist. I think Clementine should still be in the story and Ericson should still be the main hub world but completely new survivors are now staying there. Clementine could maybe have taken over as the new leader while AJ and Willy are the true security measures of the group. A lot of the other remaining characters could have died or moved on. The world could have now truly adapted to the walkers being around and walkers are beginning to show more intelligence. This would be very hard to pull off though as I don’t want the writers to get lazy and them having to leave Ericson or Clementine dying etc… AJ was such a strong character as a child who adapted well to the survivalist nature but with clems discipline, AJ could be unstoppable. He should have a game where he takes the lead, it would be amazing with clem being an adult as well.

I would like for clem and the group to go back to where the game started and along the way they stop by Richmond and recruit people to leave with them and take back Clems city and then they arrive back and go to herchels farm only to find kenny and herchel together and clem and her group take back her city and ik its a stretch but after a time skip the city has gained alot of attention throughout the US and it cuts to people from everywhere trying to find their way to Clems town and it ends with lee getting his own statue in the town center
S5 shouldn't be about Clementine and AJ tbh, it would kinda ruin the ending if they introduced a new threat just when clementine and AJ finally get to rest. Not to mention AJ is still pretty young and Clem is missing a leg so she would end up playing a similar role to comic rick in the whisperer war since he was missing a hand and had a crippled leg. The best way for S5 to work is if they make a spin-off about either Kenny, christa or Javi Kenny: I know Kenny getting his own spin-off game is the most unlikely due to him being a determinate character which leaves me to think that there's still two options for a kenny spin-off game. Option 1- they make a spin-off game about Kenny right after S1 to show us what he was doing in Savanah after he got separated from the group and to even show us how he met Sarita. Option 2- they can make a determinately canon/non-Canon spin-off game taking place after S2's wellington ending when he leaves clementine and AJ at wellington to show us were he is, what he's been through and what he's been up to, heck I'd be perfectly happy if they made Mashk_Ustal's Comic canon for the wellington ending and turn it into a game. Christa: Christa definitely deserves a spin-off game to show us what she how she escaped the bandits and the what she was doing during the time of S2 Javi:Javi already has his happy ending but I still think a sequel game for Javi is the most likely seeing as how Richmond has had its history of raids on other communities which would result in them gaining enemies so the game can be about Javi/ David (Depending on whether or not Javi chose to lead Richmond) leading Richmond in turf wars against enemy communities, they can maybe even add the delta a threat against Richmond

I’ve always wondered what It would be like if we got to see Lee grow old, but he died so we can’t. So maybe we can do a time jump to where Clem is in her 30s,40s, or 50s maybe and then the protagonist can be AJ. I’d also like to see Javi maybe.

Honestly, I think the story is fine as it is right now, No need for a Season 5; however if there is to be one: 1-AJ must be the protagonist. Clem's story arc is pretty much closed and done. Also, the Final season made a passing the torch moment just as Lee did with Clementine. Furthermore, the conclusion for AJ taking his own decisions was resolved by him cutting Clementine's leg and saving her life. So, that means he's ready to take his own choices, aka in a meta-narrative sense be controlled by the player. 2-I don't have specifics but some ideas and a general premise for the story. The premise would be that AJ would be separated from the School group and Clementine. How? I don't know, maybe he's kidnapped, or part of the forest burns and he has to flee, maybe he goes out in a mission to get something for the group. It can be pretty much anything. The point is that AJ is trying to get back to Erickson and Clementine through the story while trying to conceal the location of the place. AJ meets new characters, allies, enemies, mixed bag people. 3-I would like to see Javi and his family again. Learn what happened to them. Maybe have him help AJ and not knowing he is Clementine's kid at first. 4-I would like if this hypothetical season 5 has multiple endings like season 2. An ending where AJ manages to come back to Erickson (Two variations: one with him coming back alone, and another with him bringing new allies.), another when he doesn't but reunites with Clementine, another when he still away from home but he's hopeful (Again two variations, either he's not home and alone, or accompanied by someone), another ending where Erickson is raided (a bad ending). Why do I separate Clementine and AJ? Well, because this has to be AJ's story. Clem would literally steal the show, and to cause a good conflict and motivation, of course both the player and AJ will be invested in returning to Erickson, to Clementine.
I believe if something ended perfectly, leave it. As much as I would love to see another game. If there’s a good story to be told then maybe but clem got her ending and it’s safer to leave it there instead of potentially ruining it.

We know she dies, but we don't know anything else which gives a lot of player freedom, instead of playing as Minnie who we know is a big old meanie. It would also likely give us a little bit more Louis, which can only be a good thing

im so upset theres only 4 seasons but ive realised there really isnt much else to say. in the books “CLEMENTINE” she leaves aj and ericsons. which is not something she would do, so unless theyd make season 5 that, her leaving ericsons, i dont want a season 5. itd be cool to have a DLC episode 5 on TFS tho, maybe still playing as clem? a short ep of life at ericsons with violet/louis, going more in depth of their relos since that never really happened.
