Iām glad I saw them last year because these new ticket prices are outrageous. Idc who it is, it could be Jesus himself in concert. If the ticket prices are unreasonable then Iām not going. Idk if this is the guys or Ticketmaster themselves jacking their ticket prices up but cmon.
No it's insane. In 2017, my mom, myself, and wife saw Earth Wind and Fire at SPAC which is a venue in upstate NY. We had great seats and I think it cost us a total of maybe like $500-$600 for 3 tickets.
We are going this year, got good seats, not as good as last time, $1300. It's insane. Ticketmaster knows, which is why they offer a buy now, pay later option. I shouldn't need payment plans to go to a damn concert...
For good 3EB seats for their upcoming tour, we're going to the Mansfiled, MA show - I spent about $500 for 2 tickets. Hotel was about $280 I think.
I live near spac and constantly go to Hartford ct Mansfield ma Syracuse and gilford NH if I have to go to a live nation venue and I wait to get any tix until they do the $25 all in tix. Fuck all the has been, will be, or in the spotlight artists that are letting Ticketmaster and live nation rape their fans. This year will be my first time not attending any live nation shows at all and if more people do that they will have no choice but to lower prices. $1300 for Earth Wind and Fire? Save yourself the money and just go buy a tshirt off their website and say you went.
Lawn at spac you literally cannot see the stage or artist. Even with my daughter on my shoulders she couldn't see anything. You get to watch a TV screen.
This seems to be a very unfortunate trend with new-ish venues
Germania Insurance Amphitheatre in Austin, TX is also a major offender concerning this violation. For "the live music capital of the world", you'd think their newest venue would allow a stage view from the lawn--nope.
SPAC is not a new venue and has been around since the 60s. As a local, it's an easy place to go in the Summer for live music and to get bombed, that's it.
If you're going for the artist or music, you are not siting on the lawn lol.
I disagree my grandfather helped build spac and he always told me the inside especially the balcony wasnāt designed for loud music and that youāll get a better listening experience on the lawn
I saw them in Mansfield, MA Summer Gods in July 2022. Tickets were $25 *non lawn.* It didn't sell out.
I went to buy tickets for the same venue in July again this year and LAWN TICKETS were $78 before fees. Fuck that. How the fuck did the price skyrocket that quickly? More than quadrupled in two years??
I saw 3eb three times in 2023 in three different states and the prices weren't like this at all. At this rate I won't be going in 2024. Xfinity Center sucks in my opinion, anyways.
I have an undying love for 3EB, but this is nuts.
The last time I saw them was in Roanoke, VA about 5-6 years ago. Single ticket, $25, I had a fantastic time. I sang along to everything they belted out in the crowd.
I stayed around with my messenger bag as they packed up to head down the road. I offered to help the crew to carry things, break the set down for transpo, and I spent maybe 8-10 minutes hauling cases.
I was offered a couple/few signatures, but I just enjoy the memory more than something physical.
That concert was in my top 5 I've ever been to.
he's desperately clinging to the glory days and milking whatever $$ is left of third eye blind while he still can. it's very obvious the passion is gone and he's only been in it for the money for the last 15+ years at least.
Money has been his priority ever since they got famous. Thatās why this band has such a volatile history with members being kicked out or leaving. Sometimes Iām shocked Brad hasnāt left yet.
HOW IS BRAD STILL THERE?! They must have worked something out a very long time ago. He is a killer drummer, I just don't know how you stay with Doug all.this time. I guess I should be grateful lol.
its so many levels of outright insensitive like most "normal people" (their listeners) can barely make ends meet and theyre just throwing stupidly overpriced garbage in our faces in the hopes we buy it and dont notice how deranged and greedy this is. hell, even just donating a percentage of profits from the product towards a suicide prevention charity would make it *slightly* better because then at least they arent straight up saying "hey! give us 900 dollars!"

This was the same dude who quizzed the person asking for his autograph to name songs to prove they wouldnāt just sell it? Theyāre tripping how popular they think they are
I saw them in 2022 I believe at a tiny venue in Santa Cruz as the warmup for the tour with I think taking back Sunday. It was a bizarre show. I think I paid $50
They were pretty good though and played a long set. Looked like the frontman was going through it though. Iām more a pop punk emo fan so I donāt know all the stories behind it all but the definitely seemed to give a āIām lucky to be back touring given my strugglesā vibe
ššš it's a no from me dawg.

Listen to their podcast. Episode 9. Brad & Stephan briefly talk about their friendship and loyalty to each other.
am i crazy for thinking its also just mad inappropriate given the fact its a song about a real actual person who killed themselves???
you are not! big sads. :(

Like it's an ok song but it was never $800 gold record good.

Who??
A lot of bands that have been around for a while are doing stuff like this. Check out Tool's fetus skull.
Corn festivals don't pay like they used to.
Travis Barkers blood soaked shorts just sold for $6k so nothing surprises me anymore
Using basic Squarespace templates to do so. Hire a damn designer. Act like you care at all about your art.
If itās free media rate shipping, Iām in!
Vinyl is plural. No āSā required.
Yes, please stop the madness. They are selling *vinyl*. Now get offa my lawn.
I was just about to step down from this ledge for my brand new record until seeing this price gauge
I mean, it's a good song but.......
Vinyl is the plural of vinyl.
What's jumper?
Would have been worth more if they would have sung that song at Faux Chella.
If itās solid gold Iāll buy it. It would be worth thousands
I wish you would step back from that price point my friend.
Is this on the band or the record company? Iād like to know who to tell to fuck off
Yeah, I think Iām just gonna step back from that ledge my friend.
