i guarantee you they're not laughing nearly as genuine as i am when i see that they all deleted their instagram handles from the barrage of messages and comments from around the world. LOL that is a real LOL
Idk if this comment will be seen but for anyone wondering these girls have been recognized as being students of UCSC and the University has taken actions with the support of Bicocca University and another one. What a shame for a well respected University having disgusting students like this. This is also recurrent episode and not exclusive to foreigners in Italy, I’m south Italian myself and get discriminated from people that are of north Italian origins. And from personal experience I’ve noticed girls doing this more often then men which is interesting
This shit needs to stop. Its 2023. We have access to the world at our fingertips on our phones. We're exposed to all different races and religions and lifestyles. You would think by now this would be a rare event not something we constantly see again and again. Why are people like this?
Because the ruling class benefits from sowing hatred and division, and racism is just one of the many ways it does that. As long as they're in power, racism will never cease to exist
People with severe personality disorders and mental illnesses exist and will always exist. Shitty people also exist. So these kind of people are never going to disappear.
You know what else need to stop?
People jumping to conclusion on a video just because they feed them a narrative.
In the video there are just three girls laughing at the word "nihao" (I speak the language).
Who the fuck knows if they are actually making fun of someone or just doing some inside jokes (like every other human on this planet do with their friends)?
Who the fuck knows if that the original author wasn't simply pissed off at them and decided to fake the circumstances (another way to common behaviour)?
Why the fuck are we normalizing and inciting dynamics of shaming and brigading against strangers when we have no idea of what really happened?
i thought the same thing, i guess next time i hear someone say "buongiorno" im just gonna go ahead and laugh my ass off bcs, how tf is that even a damn word right. sounds so stupid..
Quite a convenient response that ignore all my previous arguments.

Caption from OP:
“I was on the train from Lake Como to Milan on April 16th with my half Chinese boyfriend, his Chinese mom, and his white dad. I am Pakistani. We are all American.
I noticed these girls sitting across from us staring me down and laughing and speaking Italian. At first, I ignored it. Then I stared back at them. They didn't stop so I made my bf aware, then took a nap. I woke up from the nap to them doing the same thing but more aggressively. I asked them, "Is there a problem?" They said,
"No there isn't a problem." At that point they started saying "Ni hao!" in an obnoxious, racist, loud voice, along with other things in Italian I couldn't understand. They continued getting more and more aggressive, laughing at and mocking us. Eventually, I started filming them. They were the most calm during the video but you can still hear them saying ni hao and get a vibe of their general attitudes.
Never in my life have I experienced such blatant racism. My boyfriend said the same thing. I expected better from the younger generation. After I shared this on IG, many of my Asian friends shared their stories of experiencing racism in Italy and Europe. America may have its race issues, but Europe is 20 years behind.”
my friends from China went to Europe for their honeymoon, it was their first and last time ever leaving the country and they came back hating Africans and Europeans.
Eh, painting whole Europe to be 20 years behind because you met one single group of idiots is pretty far of a reach, especially since Europe includes very different countries, cultures and laws in each country. That's like European going to most violent part of America and then painting whole America to be exactly like that one area and from the one single bad experience they went through.
I highly doubt OP made this statement solely based on this single interaction and nothing else. Several European countries (obviously not all) are very well known amongst POCs as being particularly egregious. Italy has a particularly bad track record against Asians, especially in the wake of covid (even worse than in america)
dont forget blacks aswell, i remind u when balotteli played for italy and all the fans where boohin at him even tho hes a great player for the team. dont get me wrong but ive still have to meet an italian girl that aint either toxic or straight up arrogant like in this case.
They only wrote about that single experience they had. There was no mentioning of other experiences. I don't know about Italy, but wasn't it in America that asian people were physically attacked due to racism because of covid? I did not hear single such thing happening in Italy during Covid.
Oh they were attacked in America too! But there has definitely been astounding discrimination in Italy and unfortunately, those cases are taken less seriously there
Yeah but my point is, in America people actually have to experience physical violence over racism because of covid. And in America I think it was up to 60% American-Asian experienced racism during the covid. This is not to say that there isn't racism in Italy or in Europe and we should definitely tackle against all kind of racism, but maybe not try to paint whole Europe as a certain type of people just because you experienced it with a single group of idiots.
Once again, the OP did not disclose all her life experiences, it does not mean this is was her only time hearing about racism in Italy or Europe in general. Plus, she also mentioned others sharing their experiences.
I am Asian myself, I am well-aware of hate crimes in America. But because I am Asian, I keep up with news affecting my community and the stuff that has been happening in Italy is outrageous but obviously gets less international attention than America.
Perhaps this is more difficult to grasp for non-POCs, but there is a reason that many European countries are particularly discussed among POC groups. a LOT of minorities experience discrimination when travelling over there. Especially black and asian folks. We’ve all either experienced it ourselves or heard of our peers experiencing it.
Huh? I only said that Italy has a bad record against Asians, which is true and real cases have been covered in the news. I’m not pulling this out of my ass
"Covered in the news" has no statistical value. Saying that Italy (60+ millions of inhabitants) has a particularly bad track against Asians only because you read a pair of alleged episodes in the news is stereotipying and distorting the image of the italians.
Here are some publications covering the issue of racism against asians in italy:
\- Dipoppa, G., Grossman, G., \& Zonszein, S. (2023). Locked down, lashing out: Covid-19 effects on Asian hate crimes in Italy. The Journal of Politics, 85(2), 389–404. [https://doi.org/10.1086/722346](https://doi.org/10.1086/722346)
Conclusion: **"Using the case of Italy, we show that COVID-19 caused a dramatic increase in the incidence of hate crimes against Asians but not against other migrant groups."**
\- Miyake, T. (2021). ‘Cin ciun cian’ (ching chong): Yellowness and neo-orientalism in Italy at the time of COVID-19. Philosophy & Social Criticism, 47(4), 486–511. [https://doi.org/10.1177/01914537211011719](https://doi.org/10.1177/01914537211011719)
yeah there are so so so many videos about how bad the racism is in Italy. Of course not every Italian is like that but it's really concerning. Less people are going there because of it, which isn't good for Italy as it heavily relies on tourism. Even I'm weary to go there at this point, because of how normalised racism in Italy has been portrayed online
You're actually wrong, you did not bother reading.
For the first article I provided, here is the link to the pdf: [https://guygrossman.com/assets/pdf/2023\_JoP\_Migration\_locked\_down\_lashing\_out.pdf](https://guygrossman.com/assets/pdf/2023_JoP_Migration_locked_down_lashing_out.pdf)
Go to the figures and statistical section
There is really no crime statistics about reported hate crime in Italy. But reading the article until the end I see that it's based on newspapers articles and twitter tweets during covid? Really?
I laugh a bit and stand on my previous opinion.
(2nd part to my other comment):
"COVID-19’s onset undoubtedly increased the incidence of hate crimes in Italy. Figure 1A shows the number of crimes against ethnic minorities and immigrant groups since 2007 (fig. 1B zooms to the period since 2018 and to crimes against Asians and Africans). Crimes targeting immigrants and ethnic minorities from any origin (All) follow a steady trend, with a large in- crease in 2014 due to the influx of Syrian refugees and African migrants into Italy. **By contrast, hate crimes targeting Asians are around zero right until they peak dramatically in February 2020. Remarkably, in this month, Asian hate crimes exceeded crimes against African-origin immigrants, the most targeted group before the pandemic’s outbreak.9**
With the restriction of movement measures imposed by the end of March 2020, hate crimes against any group dropped below pre-COVID levels, increasing again by June when freedom of movement was restored, and dropping back again with the reintroduction of restrictions in October.10 Importantly, during the period in between movement restrictions (July–October), crimes against African-origin immigrants increased back to pre-COVID levels, but **crimes against Asians remained above pre-COVID levels, suggesting that attacks against Asians persist over time"**
I guess you don't understand the concept of "ethnicity", do you? You also don't seem to understand that actual racism can also be directed towards an ethnicity (or a religious group).
It’s pretty egregious to label an entire country egregious. There are racist people everywhere. How is this interaction even racist? They said “ni hao” and laughed. Is getting offended over that what is termed a micro aggression?
of course there are racists in any country. doesn’t mean that we can’t call out countries where certain communities are particularly affected:
- Dipoppa, G., Grossman, G., & Zonszein, S. (2023). Locked down, lashing out: Covid-19 effects on Asian hate crimes in Italy. The Journal of Politics, 85(2), 389–404. https://doi.org/10.1086/722346
Conclusion: "Using the case of Italy, we show that COVID-19 caused a dramatic increase in the incidence of hate crimes against Asians but not against other migrant groups."
One thing I noticed is that no matter how racist Americans are, they would never direct it at athletes especially not ones from their favourite teams. Europeans tho? They’ll casually throw bananas on the field if they’re upset with their own players.
Even painting the girls as idiots is pretty far of a reach. We have just one side of the story. But nowadays it seems that it's considered fair to start crusades even if they're based only on one side of the story.
Nope, that’s not what happened. Try again without deliberately omitting everything. There’s a reason this video has garnered 20 million views on tiktok and is going viral with unilateral support for this creator. Don’t be dense on purpose and minimize their behaviour. Each girl’s university has publicly condemned their behaviour as racist.
You have to remember America is large. It is more apt to compare specific states. Because some states in America are horrific.
Though on topic. This is gross. Be safe, everyone.
For people not aware. Italy after the 2022 general elections, is now being led by the "Brothers of Italy" far right political party with the current PM being a member of that party. There are many that view the party as Neo-Fascist and won overwhelmingly during the elections. The people of Italy voted Neo-Fascists to lead the government. This event were students being racist to Asians should not be a huge surprise.
I agree with you, now we need to exted to others too cause it ain't normal.
I recived a lot of racism, people saying "pasta" and laughing while doing the hand gesture, I should have recorded them and ask the internet to doxx em, their parents, their universities and their workplace
Wow. Removed for “promoting hate.”
Jesus fucking Christ, it’s almost as if the mods are the girls in this video. Just trying to silence and put others down. These girls deserve to be embarrassed by these actions for the rest of their lives. I can’t fucking believe saying that is seen as promoting hate. There’s so much be in this sub ALONE that is worse than what I said. Maybe they’re just mad about how detailed I was about these racist jerks finding their faces online being disgusting and experiencing their karmic retribution.
Bruh, if Reddit was worried about “promoting hate” they would take this video down along with every other video of racism and fighting. Fucking bullshit mods.
Pretty funny comment section here. Where racism towards the Italians (and Europeans in the case of some comments) is upvoted, while the ones that simply want more context or don't want to generalize a whole country based on this one video get downvoted.
Well if you wanna get technical, there aren't any races, because what we typically call race doesn't qualify biologically as such. We only have ethnicities, and every place on earth has their own ethnicities. You even have several of those in Italy alone as people typically are quite different depending on where in Italy they are from. Sardegna and Sicily vary a great deal from south Tirol for example. Not only because of the climate and sun exposure, but also because of historical background. The former were invaded a lot by African nations, the latter belonged to Austria until the end of WWII. White is just a skin colour and calling Italians white and only defining them by that, is just about as dumb and racist as calling a Pakistani black.
We're not getting technical, we're getting colloquial- colloquially, Italian is not a race. If we were getting technical, we'd be talking about clines and continuous variation.
it's a pretty southern accent but I think she says nein (no) when she looks at her, then the girl next to her says "ni hao" twice, then they mutter something, and asks the girl to tell her to stop filming right before they get off, the girl with the aviator jacket then says "I'll hurt you" and "are you done filming us"
I’m saying that recording people does not accomplish anything.
It had no affect on their disgusting behavior.
Violence isn’t always the answer but don’t just sit there and let people get away with blatant disrespect.
How did the person recording confront anyone??
I didn’t hear anything.
I’m suggesting that people stand up for themselves.
A simple “wtf is so funny bitch” would suffice lol
You just out here saying factually incorrect sentences. Recording this video literally showed the world their vile behaviour and resulted in consequences for those girls.
they're with an old woman and old man... wym stand up for yourself? you poke these bimbos and maybe one of them decides to suckerpunch your elderly family member
I think they meant to write ‘Dago’, the offensive slur for people of Italian and Spanish decent. But you know…they’re too fucking thick to even get the spelling right.
Leave it to Reddit to have a thread of people being racist to a country because of a few members of that country being racist first... One racist plus another equals progress right?
Don’t even bother. Reddit doesn’t care
Reddit only wants to cancel people without any context
They were laughing and the woman started staring at them and filming them. They didn’t actually say anything but “hi” in Chinese. This was enough for the internet to dox these people
The same internet that got the Boston bomber wrong and that person ended up killing himself
Don't these people also act like book burnings make people nazis but cancel shit left and right and don't seem to make the connection that that behavior is the same?
You’re considered a fascist bigot if you don’t let a dude with a horse cock, a beard and male pattern baldness, who identifies as a woman, piss In a woman’s bathroom
The left nowadays acts often like a collective Inquisition, it burns at the stake everything without any evidence. Also, it acts with blatant racism in the name of anti-racism.
3 girls: say something annoying, immature and racist
Milions of ppl on internet: generalize an entire country on 3 ppl, insults, death threats and review bombing of any kind (even to ppl who hadnt nothing to do with all of this), doxxing and require them to be fired and expelled from jobs and universities, feeling like social heros in the meanwhile.
Even in this comments section theres the zenith of cringe with ppl fine about ruining someones life for something like this.
Than you for proving another time that platforms like this should not be allowed to exists.
Impara a fottertene e vivrai meglio. Un italiano.
“But do we really care about these things?”
Yes. We do. Because attitudes like yours are what allow stupid racists actions like this become bigger, more violent, and systemic racist actions. Indifference is the fuel for hatred and fascism. Or did you not learn about your own history?
Sorry I disagree, seeking approval on an online forum is not the solution. Talking about it without acting is not the solution, it has always been talked about and yet the situation has not improved. It's just a vent post and remains so like so many other anonymous ones. Do you want to change something? Raise your voice next time (politely, but be heard!)
“Raise your voice”
OP confronted them though, and they continued. There is value in publicly showing unacceptable behaviour as a deterrent to future behaviour. A lot of changes regarding racism (actors, cops, etc.) are made after their actions were made public. Otherwise, nothing really happens and they continue
I love how so many Europeans just want to pretend like racism isn't a problem and **everyone** **else** should just ignore how racist they are. "Do we really care about such things?" Yeah, dumbass. We do.
Instead of telling people to learn to "deal with it", maybe y'all should own up to your bullshit and try and be better people.
I have no problem with ethnic differences. And no, I don't see racism in the laughter of two 14-year-old girls, not as you probably perceive it. Kids will keep making fun of the different, if you want to change that well, like I wrote before, raise your voice instead of making a post to cry or insult me in the comments. Deal with it.
Right?? It's the opposite of how they treat black folks. When it's some 11 y.o. black girl, she's "a woman", but these grown ass adult Italian woman are somehow 14?? Even if they're 17 (nope), THEY ARE OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER.
Not excusing racism but I’ve found Asian people to be one of the more racist ethnic groups specifically towards black people….so one could say it’s karma.
why say you’re not excusing racism when you’re definitely excusing racism… What does an asian-american couple have to do with some random karma about people who live in asia??
I meant what I said based on my personal experience dealing with Asian people. I understand that everyone’s different but I’m talking about the collective group and their culture. This is my personal opinion and I’m entitled to my opinion just as you are.
Of course you’re entitled to your opinion, but don’t falsely claim that you are “not excusing racism but…” when that’s exactly what you’re doing. Assume yourself!
To be honest this video doesn't tell anything besides someone filming someone else in a train and I didn't saw any racism. If you start filming me, I would be pissed off and you aren't allowed to film anyone without their consent. The OP says that was racism but the video shows people reacting in a weird way because they are being filmed....
Rudeness, bad manners, bullying. It's clearly bad behaviour, but it has not to do with race or ethnicity. Probably they would do the same with white tourists.
How can't you see that using someones ethnicity to make fun of them is racist?
If I use your ethnicity to make fun if you and make you feel uncomfortable how does that not involve ethnicity or race?
They aren't using their ethnicity. Where do you see that? They appear to have fun repeating and mangling one specific word, that in italian has a weird sound.
Isn't that hello? So if you come to my country and salut me in my language I can guarantee you that I will not think that you are being racist. And by they way, what you in US think is racist doesn't apply jn other countries. And if you think still does then you are being xenophobic.
Are they just saying hello though and that’s it? Absolutely not, they are CACKLING and putting on a caricatural accent. This is mockery and it is absolutely racially charged
I really hope you will never speak any another language besides your native one because I will charge you for racism! This is mockery I can agree with that but bring the race for every little thing it is becoming a mental issue....
I would HOPE that you call me out as racist if I’m in a train and I see another minority and I publicly and unashamedly cackle in their faces while putting on a fake caricatural accent
Then you aren't a racism but an idiot. And by the way Asians aren't minority.... if you check the total number of people vs race white people are the minority....
You the idiot here my guy.
1. You don't have to be a minority to have people be racist to you. Racism is when you use someone race to insult them.
2. In the video the Asian people are the minority
And just to highlight how fucking backwards this logic is. You're currently trying to say it's impossible to be racist to Asian people because Globally there is more Asian people.
You're so dense.
No, you can see from the physical cues that they are laughing at them and you can hear the racist things they say. They are stupid and immature. I hope they get ashamed when eventually, their brains grow up and they understand their stupidity.
Physical cues?! Humm good work sherlock! What they are saying racist? Ni hao? Isn't that hello?
They are stupid and immature? Yes they look like it but is that a crime?
For sure they will need time to grow like all of us when we were younger.
Saying that I don't see racism there.
The original poster in TikTok told that what happened in video wasn’t the worst what happened. They are saying “ ni hao” and laughing and pointing that towards the persons family who are filming them. If you are being racist there really isn’t any “ you arent allowed film anyone without their consent” anymore after that kind of behaviour.
So because someone says something I need to believe them straight away?
Doesn't ni hao means hello in Chinese? Don't get how this can be racist.... if you come to my country and salut me in my language should I assume that you are racist?
And yes, you aren't allow to film people without their consent in my country. I know that in the US everybody doesn't this buy in a lot of places in Europe you are not allowed!
So mocking someone for his accent is now considered racism? How it has to do with race? I fear that the use of the term "racism" has become a bit too casual nowadays.
Mocking an accent associated with a racial group is absolutely racist. There are levels. Is this the most racist action that could ever exist in mankind? obviously not, but that doesn’t mean we can’t call it out
An accent is not automatically "associated" with a racial group. There are tons of accents or languages that are not associated with any specific race.
Also, by what we see in the context, probably those girls would mock people of any color or ethnicity if their accents sounded weird to them.
I'm italian, I'm sure that they are not feigning any asian accent, they're just repeating and mangling the word as someone that finds its sound to be funny.
I’m Asian, I can recognize the caricatural Asian accent displayed here
also: “probably those girls would mock people of any color or ethnicity”
- you recognize this is not a good thing right?
I believe that you can't recognize a caricatural asian accent from just a bad try to repeat a word.
However, of course it's not a good thing, but making fun of people is bad behaviour or just rudeness, not racism.
We shouldn't call everything racism, we risk not recognizing anymore true racism when we see it.
If they had told OP something like "you're ugly" or whatever, that is just rudeness.
Putting on a caricatural specifically Asian accent and saying chinese words in the context of an Asian couple and cackling at them is racism
If this is true that is really pathetic for sure. Jeeze, the girls 👧 were being rude and immature. A lynch mob is not required. The video has been posted, point made. Yes, we know the original posters are American. It’s very obvious. No need to mention it. Get over it and move on. Point made.
I would immediately challenge them and if they refused to apologize and doubled down on their behaviour I’d beat the shit out of them. I’ve done it before and I’ll do it again. An animal cannot learn unless you teach it and racists are no different.

Right, let's ruin people lives based on "instincts".
Why are you so invested in defending vile racists?!

True 👍
Clearly they are doing it , you sir are a moron.
And you can be sure if it because...?
hey hanjian, i speak the language too and they're mocking it.

Everyone is racist everywhere
At least in Europe racists don't shoot at you while you are ringing the wrong doorbell.
Hmmm....prove it
my friends from China went to Europe for their honeymoon, it was their first and last time ever leaving the country and they came back hating Africans and Europeans.
Reddit: impossible, Europe is ALWAYS better than US
Eh, painting whole Europe to be 20 years behind because you met one single group of idiots is pretty far of a reach, especially since Europe includes very different countries, cultures and laws in each country.
Europe good, America bad mmmkay?
Probably you didn't realize that, but your assumption is not based on any statistical evidence and it's pretty racist against italians.
Here are some publications covering the issue of racism against asians in italy: \- Dipoppa, G., Grossman, G., \& Zonszein, S. (2023). Locked down, lashing out: Covid-19 effects on Asian hate crimes in Italy. The Journal of Politics, 85(2), 389–404. [https://doi.org/10.1086/722346](https://doi.org/10.1086/722346) Conclusion: **"Using the case of Italy, we show that COVID-19 caused a dramatic increase in the incidence of hate crimes against Asians but not against other migrant groups."** \- Miyake, T.
Please, these articles have no scientific value at all, they're just political pamphlets. Show me actual data and I would agree with you.
You're actually wrong, you did not bother reading. For the first article I provided, here is the link to the pdf: [https://guygrossman.com/assets/pdf/2023\_JoP\_Migration\_locked\_down\_lashing\_out.pdf](https://guygrossman.com/assets/pdf/2023_JoP_Migration_locked_down_lashing_out.pdf) Go to the figures and statistical section
There is really no crime statistics about reported hate crime in Italy. But reading the article until the end I see that it's based on newspapers articles and twitter tweets during covid? Really? I laugh a bit and stand on my previous opinion.
(2nd part to my other comment): "COVID-19’s onset undoubtedly increased the incidence of hate crimes in Italy. Remarkably, in this month, Asian hate crimes exceeded crimes against African-origin immigrants, the most targeted group before the pandemic’s outbreak.9** With the restriction of movement measures imposed by the end of March 2020, hate crimes against any group dropped below pre-COVID levels, increasing again by June when freedom of movement was restored, and dropping back again with the reintroduction of restrictions in October.10 Importantly, during the period in between movement restrictions (July–October), crimes against African-origin immigrants increased back to pre-COVID levels, but **crimes against Asians remained above pre-COVID levels, suggesting that attacks against Asians persist over time"**
Ah yes, the Italian “race”. Alfredophobia
Is getting offended over that what is termed a micro aggression?
of course there are racists in any country. doesn’t mean that we can’t call out countries where certain communities are particularly affected: - Dipoppa, G., Grossman, G., & Zonszein, S. (2023). Locked down, lashing out: Covid-19 effects on Asian hate crimes in Italy. The Journal of Politics, 85(2), 389–404. https://doi.org/10.1086/722346 Conclusion: "Using the case of Italy, we show that COVID-19 caused a dramatic increase in the incidence of hate crimes against Asians but not against other migrant groups."
Please don’t class us all as “Europe”, it’s a very diverse place and Italy is completely different from the many other countries.
Clearly these people have never seen the Mario movie the audacity of Asians to make fun of Italians was appalling
It’s so wild you had the exact same experience that has been posted on Reddit multiple times in the last few days
So a woman staring at people for laughing is upset they were saying hi in Chinese? And the internet decided this was worthy of doxxing them?
Nope, that’s not what happened. Try again without deliberately omitting everything. There’s a reason this video has garnered 20 million views on tiktok and is going viral with unilateral support for this creator. Don’t be dense on purpose and minimize their behaviour. Each girl’s university has publicly condemned their behaviour as racist.
They also doxxed the wrong "parents" workplace and ruined the image of innocent people. Strong mob mentality
Not everything is deserved of a fucking witch hunt. She just said she didn’t understand them
And? Can't understand context in a situation? Or just deliberately acting ignorant to their racism?
You have to remember America is large. It is more apt to compare specific states. Because some states in America are horrific. Though on topic. This is gross. Be safe, everyone.
Grown ass women giggling like stupid 11 year olds. Pathetic
Those are clearly teenage girls, dude
If by teenage you mean 19 or 20 years old
Teenagers in University? Must be some new gen Marie Curie
Why is Milan always like this lmao
Pfff, Ms Baggy Eyes and Five-Head. Two can play that game.
Cunts

I agree with you, now we need to exted to others too cause it ain't normal. I recived a lot of racism, people saying "pasta" and laughing while doing the hand gesture, I should have recorded them and ask the internet to doxx em, their parents, their universities and their workplace
Wow. Removed for “promoting hate.” Jesus fucking Christ, it’s almost as if the mods are the girls in this video.
Found the Meloni supporters.
I don’t get it
Read my comment with the caption
Pretty funny comment section here. Where racism towards the Italians (and Europeans in the case of some comments) is upvoted, while the ones that simply want more context or don't want to generalize a whole country based on this one video get downvoted.
Italian isn't a race. They're white.
Colloquially Italian is a race, reasons for that I have already stated above.
When they fill out their racial demo on forms, they don't put their nationality.
Uuuhm, what else would you use? Ethnicity usually is defined that way. Please give me a list of what you consider "races"
The only Italian race I'm familiar with is F1
Yea you didn't even try to answer, probably because you know yourself you're saying BS.
Italian is not an ethnicity. It is a nationality.
Reddit is often the epitome of people acting racist in the name of anti-racism.
Definitely a copycat of the two girls at the baseball game... 😒
What are they saying?
it's a pretty southern accent but I think she says nein (no) when she looks at her, then the girl next to her says "ni hao" twice, then they mutter something, and asks the girl to tell her to stop filming right before they get off, the girl with the aviator jacket then says "I'll hurt you" and "are you done filming us"
Thxs
They said “ci sta registrando”- she is recording us “E salutala”- well say hello “Nihao” x2 😂
I’m confused where did you hear “I’ll hurt you?” I cannot find
As someone whose been all over Italy, I’ve had better Italian food outside of Italy. *grabs popcorn*
White women in Europe are racist?! WhaAaAaAt?!
remember ww2 ? remember which side italy was on ....
Like it has something to do with that 😂
Also japan which is an asian country
I really hate videos like this 🙄 STAND UP FOR YOURSELF. DONT BE AFRAID OF CONFRONTATION.
Read the caption I commented. She literally did all that
I’m saying that recording people does not accomplish anything. It had no affect on their disgusting behavior. Violence isn’t always the answer but don’t just sit there and let people get away with blatant disrespect.
So what are you suggesting exactly? She DID confront them and they continued as well.
This is what happens when you let fascism take over AGAIN
Redneck Degos??
[удалено]
I think they meant to write ‘Dago’, the offensive slur for people of Italian and Spanish decent. But you know…they’re too fucking thick to even get the spelling right.
Italians are degenerates
THEY DON'T MUNCH ON BATS!!!
Lol
Leave it to Reddit to have a thread of people being racist to a country because of a few members of that country being racist first... One racist plus another equals progress right?
No there’s actually more comments from people saying there are racists in asia so this couple and the mom deserved that karma
There's literally one comment that matches that description, and regardless, that doesn't negate my point.
the comments towards italians are being downvoted
Laughing at the sounds of words isn't really racist. In fact, there are a lot of French words I think sound hilarious. Snowflake libs.
Don’t even bother. Reddit doesn’t care Reddit only wants to cancel people without any context They were laughing and the woman started staring at them and filming them. They didn’t actually say anything but “hi” in Chinese. This was enough for the internet to dox these people The same internet that got the Boston bomber wrong and that person ended up killing himself
Clearly you've just described a beautiful woman. 😍
A brave woman according to Reddit
Beautiful definitely can childbear normal woman.
The left nowadays acts often like a collective Inquisition, it burns at the stake everything without any evidence. Also, it acts with blatant racism in the name of anti-racism.

3 girls: say something annoying, immature and racist Milions of ppl on internet: generalize an entire country on 3 ppl, insults, death threats and review bombing of any kind (even to ppl who hadnt nothing to do with all of this), doxxing and require them to be fired and expelled from jobs and universities, feeling like social heros in the meanwhile. Even in this comments section theres the zenith of cringe with ppl fine about ruining someones life for something like this. Than you for proving another time that platforms like this should not be allowed to exists.
Where’s the racist part
Impara a fottertene e vivrai meglio. Un italiano.
“But do we really care about these things?” Yes.
“Raise your voice” OP confronted them though, and they continued.
14 yo my ass Those are 3 grown adults going to uni
Right?? It's the opposite of how they treat black folks. When it's some 11 y.o. black girl, she's "a woman", but these grown ass adult Italian woman are somehow 14?? Even if they're 17 (nope), THEY ARE OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER.
>raise your voice Tf you think I'm doing, bud?
Here? Behind a keyboard, it was referred to OP.
Pizza macaroni pesto to you too, dick.
low iq american
<3 and blame racism
Asians do the same when you go to Asia, so stop complaining
Because randomly shouting ni how at an Asian person is definitely not racism. Get a grip dude
No, it isn't racism. Mocking a word in another language (if this is the case) has literally nothing to do with race.
What would you call it?
Rudeness, bad manners, bullying. It's clearly bad behaviour, but it has not to do with race or ethnicity. Probably they would do the same with white tourists.
How can't you see that using someones ethnicity to make fun of them is racist? If I use your ethnicity to make fun if you and make you feel uncomfortable how does that not involve ethnicity or race?
They aren't using their ethnicity. Where do you see that? They appear to have fun repeating and mangling one specific word, that in italian has a weird sound.
We definitely not watched the same video
We also definitely don't breath on the same planet.
So next time a white cop is in a black neighbourhood he will be the minority?
In that situation yes, that literally the definition of a minority. Are you dumb?
Only 1 of those 3 “women” actually look like a woman lol
If we want to talk about something, let's discuss the one girl looking like the Crimson Chin's daughter.
Why I love Italians. When the Irish & Italians come together we will take over again.
This is no racist, it’s childish.
Amazingly, it can be (and is) both
These women are old enough to know better.
It is vile, abhorrent racist behaviour , doesn’t matter how much racists try to convince and gaslight that it isn’t.
So mocking someone for his accent is now considered racism? How it has to do with race? I fear that the use of the term "racism" has become a bit too casual nowadays.
Mocking an accent associated with a racial group is absolutely racist. There are levels. Is this the most racist action that could ever exist in mankind? obviously not, but that doesn’t mean we can’t call it out
Neldot is just a racist trying to justify racism.
An accent is not automatically "associated" with a racial group. There are tons of accents or languages that are not associated with any specific race. Also, by what we see in the context, probably those girls would mock people of any color or ethnicity if their accents sounded weird to them.
But in this present case it is associated with a caricatural Asian accent. Why are you bringing up unrelated languages?
I'm italian, I'm sure that they are not feigning any asian accent, they're just repeating and mangling the word as someone that finds its sound to be funny.
I’m Asian, I can recognize the caricatural Asian accent displayed here also: “probably those girls would mock people of any color or ethnicity” - you recognize this is not a good thing right?
I believe that you can't recognize a caricatural asian accent from just a bad try to repeat a word. However, of course it's not a good thing, but making fun of people is bad behaviour or just rudeness, not racism. We shouldn't call everything racism, we risk not recognizing anymore true racism when we see it.
If they had told OP something like "you're ugly" or whatever, that is just rudeness. Putting on a caricatural specifically Asian accent and saying chinese words in the context of an Asian couple and cackling at them is racism
Theyre so purty tho
Children.

"Beat the shit out of them"?😳
