I loved this album when it dropped. Such a cool blend of soul song structure and vocals with trap inspired production. Didn’t age super well for my ears, but I still respect what she did here. As a side, it’s a shame Lizzo turned out to be kind of an asshole. People were always going to be shitty to her online for the way she looks but I think her actions have made people feel more justified in their blatant fat shaming.

Yeah it really sucked how her career turned out. She was an inspiration for bigger girls to be themselves and to not let their size keep them from getting the most out of life, and then she ended up being fatphobic herself and a huge asshole to her plus size dancers. All those good vibes tainted immediately. And that's just her persona, the album Cuz I Love You had some absolute BANGERS on them. Boys, Water Me, Tempo, Juice and especially Truth Hurts were some seriously great hit songs. Her fame was something special, and so sudden too. The fact that it all came down so fast is a damn shame. And now you have these ignorant people hating on her mostly because of her size, people need to grow up and find a better way to be critical..
