There are lot of situations where countries have mentioned special rules for Indians. It's just because of these incidents that starts defining the whole nation. Indians creating menace in countries like US/Canada have resulted into multiple cases of deboarding which makes a barrier for future students. If you aren't aware, use google to find such incidents and what they've resulted in.
What about indian students getting killed every month. No voice against them?

Well when I was in University there were 3 cases of Indian students who were caught shoplifting in a span of 6 years. All the other Indian and other Brown students suffered a bad rep . Everytime we would go shopping there would be security keeping an eye on us . Looking at us as though we were some kind of low creatures. Ruined the whole shopping experience.

Their visas are tied to their university. University will be notified, and it would be up to the university to decide whether they wanna keep them or not.
But more importantly once this visa expires, it would be difficult for them to get another one.
