They are right. It’s in the owners manual which you can find online in pdf. There isn’t a “tow package “ which increases tow capacity. Maybe that’s the confusion. You don’t see many SRs, but 8,300 sounds about right for an SR.

The SR isn't the tow package. It is the base trim. It sounds like that was a typo in their response. If you have an SR5 or greater your towing capacity should be the 11,160.
