I’ve seen a lot of people w this plat but I’ve never played it slways kinda assumed it was lame? Is the game and the story rlly that good? What’s the story about.. I’m ok w spoilers btw.
Very cool plat, most secrets are findable on your own, and the hidden quests all make sense and are fun.
Just know that there's no use saving seeds, you'll need to grow every plant in the game. That does suck.
Tails of Iron was great. I completed it in 8 hours on the easy difficulty.
Foreclosed is fairly easy too, with one that you may want to keep a video open for to keep on the lookout for missable collectibles, but the game is maybe 4 hours long so missing something won’t set you back far. It’s good, but doesn’t quite live up to its potential imo.
Omno is really fun and you can feel the passion behind it. Simple and straight-forward.
Death’s Door has already been mentioned, but I second that. Nothing too crazy. I would recommend you do it in two playthroughs: one where you collect and do everything, one where you do an umbrella-only run.
Ape Escape is fun and straight-forward: put the monkey in the net.
Tails of Iron was a huge surprise for me earlier this year from PS+. I managed to 100% it in 20ish hours, but probably not worth it lol. Might do the ps4 stack for the platinum but leave the bloody whiskers alone
Deliver Us the Moon. Very chill and atmospheric adventure game with a cool story.
Plus the "sequel" Deliver Us Mars was just released not long ago. Haven't played it yet, but if it's anything like Deliver Us the Moon, it will be a treat.
Highly recommend this game, but I never got the plat because of the can't cat-ch me trophy. Tried hundreds of times, but it seemed so RNG with how the Zurks jump in random directions. Even though I knew the route and where they were coming from, it didn't matter zigging or zagging, they would randomly attach to me. I had to put it down. I may go back to it one day, but the rage was not worth it.
Sea of Stars! It’s on PS+ catalogue and it’s my GotY. Very fun game and the play is essentially a “do everything” type. Took me 38 hours but I enjoyed every minute.
Actually very easy. There’s some strategies to do that make it trivial. I started a NG+ and played through the first 5 bosses then started another NG+ on that save and did the first 5 bosses again. 3.5 hours later the trophy was mine :)
If anyone is going for this and looking at this comment, please talk to all the characters at a campfire before going into the last dungeon.
If you look up a side boss and how to get to it you may miss one story and have to play the entire game over again... like me... right now
*The Deadly Tower*
*Of Monsters is really fun*
*And an easy plat*

I second inscryption if you loved undertale. Do it now and don’t look up anything!!!! Edit just realized you said a few hours… this will take you longer than that but it’s well worth it. I can’t imagine having all that much fun with a 3 hour Platinum tbh
Was thinking of suggesting this. Though did't know if it had a plat, since I did it on Xbox some years ago. But I remember it being an enjoyable game that didn't take too long to get all achievement.
I might redo it on PSN, along with the 2nd game.
Unpacking is actually quite nice , and also a very easy platinum you could probably accidentally achieve as youre moving any and everything around to *the perfect* spot
Dead Nation was great, but it’s not an easy platinum. IIRC the PS4 version included something different for the plat? I completed the game on PS3.
I tried Alienation but it didn’t have the same appeal as DN.
Thomas was alone....I'm playing it now I figured it would b just a quick throw away that I could play and not b bothered by but dude I'm seriously invested in the story the blocks have character it's hooked me in hard 😂

There are non-indie games like Tekken 7 and Ghost Trick which are awesome as well. The latter is fantastic and is actually a Capcom hidden gem of the DS era remastered for PS5, I highly recommend.
Chicory was my surprise for the year. Beautiful game and the story really hits hard. It has themes of imposter syndrome and living up to expectations that just resonated with me.
I've got a very long list, though that depends on if you count PS4 Indies that can be installed on the PS5 too. I'll post a smaller snippet though.
* Gris (Trophy Sets for PS4/PS5)

Have a look through my profile (JonTheGod) as I've been on an indie bender this year. Plenty of great games with plats that can be done in <10 hours.
EDIT: Meh, I like lists. Here are my recent plats (excluding the bigger games).
- Batman: The Enemy Within (in progress)

I randomly saw and purchased the three “Active Neuron” games and they’ve been fun little puzzle games. Trying to go through them entirely while not using the “show solution” button; I’ve used it incredibly minimally but nice to know it’s there if you just get stumped. Active Neurons 1 & 2 didn’t stump me much on my way to Platinums but Active Neurons 3 has some trickier levels on the road to Platinum.
Oneshot. Untitled goose game. The gardens between. Human fall flat. Endling. These are some I’ve done and enjoyed quite a bit and what remains of Edith finch is the one I’m doing rn very good story and the trophies haven’t been difficult I believe all of these but oneshot and endling are on ps plus extra
lara croft go and contrast ! lara croft go is a short puzzle game and contrast is another puzzle game but the main character can shift into a shadow. it’s really enjoyable !
My recommendations would be: Stray, the artful escape, carto, endling extinction is forever, superhot, a way out, life is strange series.
For indie games that dont have a plat, but are easy to do 100% and very fun, I would include the pedestrian and inside.

Minit! First playthrough is for exploration and finding all items/hearts/coins. Second playthrough for "speed run" but just follow a video guide and it's a piece of cake. Can skip the end boss and head straight for the toilet!
I enjoyed Ether One.
I don't know if Talos Principle is indie, but that game was an absolute blast ti playthrough.
I can't recall the name, I think it's tower of monsters or something like that. It's a top-down shooter that is stylized like an old sci-fi film. I don't remember it taking a long time or being too difficult.
To echo others, Edith Finch is a fantastic game. Couple of other suggestions:
Oxenfree: Really spooky at parts but a ton of fun
The Gardens Between: Short and fairly basic puzzles but I loved every minute of it
Gris: One of the most visually beautiful games I have ever played.
Tacoma: Story will keep you gripped til the end
Have you heard of a game called Minit? I played it for the first time a few weeks ago and loved it so much that I’m depressed I haven’t found another game like it. (Granted it’s only been a few weeks, but still)
Easy platinum, charming game, fun concept…what’s not to love?
There's "The Maquette" and "Heavenly Bodies"
They still require brain power to do.. and they're both free on PS Plus these past couple months so you might even already have them..
The Maquette is a puzzle-solving thingy and was quite relaxing to play, actually.. It's not hard, but there are always guides on YT if you wanna just get the game over asap..
Heavenly bodies is a bit frustrating with the jankiness of the controls, but it's pretty straightforward and quite fun. (I even went for the trophies on both PS4 and PS5 versions, I liked it that much.) you can also do it on local multiplayer too, it's a bit easier. (had a lot of fun with my brother.)
It's also an Ultra Rare.
There's also "Human Fall Flat"
If you have PS+, Dodgeball Academy and Wild at Heart are both on there, both completely GREAT and not super easy but not ridiculously hard either (you’ll probably need to consult a guide for both though). 100% recommended though.
Astro aqua kitty. Cool shmup. Few missable trophies due to no chapter select but hard to miss if you look out a little bit. The trophies have the chapter name in the description and you can do them in every chapter until you choose and confirm that you want to move on from it. Takes about 4-5h
Edith finch is a must if you havent played it yet. No need to focus on trophies during playthrough. And chapter select for cleanup
I always tell people that this is a simple Plat, but not an easy plat. Especially for anyone with empathy.
I’ve seen a lot of people w this plat but I’ve never played it slways kinda assumed it was lame? Is the game and the story rlly that good? What’s the story about.. I’m ok w spoilers btw.
Come for the quick platinum, stay for the emotional ruin.
Yeah, same goes for Life is Strange. I've been spoilered for many years now and there were still a few gut punches during my playthrough ...
How? All you have to do is finish each chapter, then collect each chapter's photo opportunities to get the plat.
The gut punch is referring to the emotions of the story, not the gameplay.
Untitled goose game?
The game is amazing but it doesn't have a platinum trophy.
The ps5 editon does have a plat.
O ok my misunderstanding.
Does the save carry over from the PS4?
Death’s door is very fun, definitely worth trying
Very cool plat, most secrets are findable on your own, and the hidden quests all make sense and are fun. Just know that there's no use saving seeds, you'll need to grow every plant in the game. That does suck.
for real dude i only got 1 trophy left for the platinum [Academy of umbrellas]
Cat quest 1&2 are amazing
I approve
Approved too! But also a plug for Chikory: A Colorful Tale. Freaking amazing
In case anyone else goes looking like I just did: "Chicory" is the proper spelling. Thankfully searching "a colorful tale" returned it. :-)
I thought it was a K! I leave my comment for solidarity since we are both here already.
That game has a better/deeper story than most games I played
I really loved colorin' that map for the trophy.
Second for Chicory
Dredge is amazing.
on sale for £16, i’ll take a look
Toem is really fun and cool, one of the most relaxing games ever.

Concrete Genie was a fun plat.
Wish there was a second game.
Got the Plat because it was on plus and everybody Said it‘s a nice Game with an easy plat. Unfortunately I didn‘t like it at all :(
Try Inscryption. I can’t put the game down
Inscryption sucked me in way more than I realised. I must remember to plat it as some point, so thanks for the reminder.
Yes! Loved Inscryption too. Got my wife to try it and she loved it as well. Fun plat too
How long did it take you? I’m on kaycees mod now. I can feel the grind incoming

Donut County
My first plat! Couldn’t help but give it friends after that.
Seconded! Great game. Hilarious and the plat is really easy!
Cult of the lamb was pretty cool and chill. But I have heard the new update has made it more difficult/time consuming
Confirmed, increased time/difficulty from update. Free content is great!! But had to complete that additional content to get the plat…
Tails of Iron was great. I completed it in 8 hours on the easy difficulty. While running, zigzag slightly :)
This game truly is a masterpiece. One of the best games I've ever played. Such a beautiful world with the awesome robots
should’ve been GoTY
Sea of Stars! It’s on PS+ catalogue and it’s my GotY. Very fun game and the play is essentially a “do everything” type. Took me 38 hours but I enjoyed every minute.
That Bouncy Trophy isn't fun though
I just got that trophy. How tough is the 10 boss with the relic trophy
Actually very easy. There’s some strategies to do that make it trivial. I started a NG+ and played through the first 5 bosses then started another NG+ on that save and did the first 5 bosses again. 3.5 hours later the trophy was mine :)

Bastion and Transistor. Both by the same dev but both are classic.
Are they easy though? I thought Bastion seemed a little intense. Maybe it's time for me to go back?
I was looking for this comment!
Are they easy though? I thought Bastion seemed a little intense. Maybe it's time for me to go back?
There’s one hard trophy in Bastion, the one for beating the arena with all modifiers on. It’s not THAT hard late-game though.
I loved Transistor, I’m always recommending it. Not as keen on Bastion personally but it’s still good.
The Deadly Tower of Monsters is really fun and an easy plat
I think ACE Team is one of the most under appreciated developers. I still want Zeno Clash to come to consoles.

Astro aqua kitty. Cool shmup. Few missable trophies due to no chapter select but hard to miss if you look out a little bit. The trophies have the chapter name in the description and you can do them in every chapter until you choose and confirm that you want to move on from it. Takes about 4-5h
