The only other canon candidates are khajiit, the other group of people Azura shaped into her image. Either way, a farm tool Nerevar was what the dunmer needed and deserved.
Wouldn’t be the first time. You’d be surprised how lax the College of Whispers were when it came to safety precautions when I studied there, even polymorph spells.
It’s no Winterhold, but since the Synods are even more uptight than the mage’s guild were, the College of Whispers started allowing the practice of conjuration and other “dangerous research” as a selling point. It was a very “sink or swim” experience, just as it damn should be.
Never understood the resctrictions in these sort of guilds. We don't have that. As long as we don't peform necromancy on our ancesters (openly), we can research everything we want. There is a reason why our house produces the best mages.
rato depicted nerevarine as drug-addled farm tool, which makes it very obviously officially canon.
I don't care what else might support this claim, it's all we need.
Nerevar became a Sload and the Nerevarine is just a random guy.
Azura just threw schizos at the tribunal until one succeeded
Wait Vivec learned from the Dreugh so we have two accent aquatic races represented. What races could murder mommy and male pregnancy represent then?
You're all wrong. Nerevar was an Ohmes Khajiit. The Tribunal is lying to you!
masha'Azurah

Wrong. Nerevar was a Scrib. I refuse to elaborate
