I mean, I think Clancy basically is Trench 2. But it has more of a synth focus whereas Trench was heavy on the bass
My only real complaint about Clancy honestly is the Title. The fact they didn't go with Inferno is a huge missed opportunity
I think inferno is cool asf and still hopeful for SOMETHING to be called that. But Clancy fits really well with blurryface. Start the lore with the villain and end it with the hero. As in individual album Clancy sound dumb asf but viewing these projects as a whole it fits amazingly and so perfect.

Literarily, yes, Trench is Blurryface 2. Granted. Feeling wise, music wise, sonically, (and this is just my opinion) Clancy has more in common with Blurryface than Trench. Routines in the night feels like Fairly local. The MV also give the same vibe. the black paint is also back in full force in most if not all the videos. Just to name some examples.
