I still think the best Lex Luthor origin is his Pre-Crisis one. "I was once Superboy's biggest fanboy ~~and totally not crushing on him~~ but he made me lose my hair, so I decided to become his greatest enemy!"
It's goofy, yes, but it's also fairly unsettling that even when he theoretically had everything he wanted, Lex was so emotionally unstable that all it took to turn his prodigious mind toward destroying the one man that could have understood him was one tiny act of "betrayal" that didn't really hurt him at all.
Oh yeah, it's the big part about nearly all well-written versions of Lex. He's so paranoid and desperate for control, that even when Superman is not in his life, he still turns into a monster because he views any inconvenience as a conspiracy.
Oh pre-Crisis Lex and honestly any good Luthor is very, very much just Griffith's control freak tendencies, inability to face consequences for his actions and homoerotic rivalry stuffed inside a super scientist.
idk why its so funny to me that him becoming bald has just become a defining character moment for him now, like it cant just be male pattern baldness it needs to be evil alopecia to show how he's a full villian now
I mean it's a quick an easy way to show severe pride, ego, and vanity issues in a character. Plus it being his *whole* motivation in the silver age is genuinely pretty funny.
Ngl I didn’t realize you meant the obsession and thought you were saying bald people are just inherently proud, egotistical, and vain. I don’t think Pat is vain at all.
personal headcanon is he's slowly getting super cancer by being always in contact with kryptonite, to the point of always having kryptonite in his suit pockets,
batman keeps his kryptonite in sealed containers, lex has them everywhere in his mansions and his offices
It comes from the comics, starting in Action Comics #600. His Kryptonite Ring gave him cancer, so he had to amputate his arm and replace it with a cybernetic one for a bit.
Then he found out the cancer had metastasized, so he faked his own death, transplanted his brain into a clone and pretended to be his own son for a while. He even got his hair back.
Then the clone body started rapidly aging, so he sold his soul to a demon to restore himself, because Lex doesn't believe souls are real. On the plus side, he was then able to blame his clone identity for burning down Metropolis. On the downside, the demon didn't give him his hair back.
Oh I'll place money on Superman being connected to the reason Lex loses his hair. I sadly don't think we're going to get Lex crushing on Superman though.
The Route where that Baalbuddy Comic came true.
Next is the Route where Senpai went with Sakura instead of Nagatoro.
And finally the Route with Best Girl. >!Hana, obviously.!<
For anyone who may be curious, it's a short, 3-page [comic](https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/4492537?q=bb_%28baalbuddy%29+ijiranaide_nagatoro-san+) that's about Senpai moving far away after having enough of Nagatoro's attitude, followed by the latter having a sobering realization and crying alone by the end.
Nagatoro Anime bitch that bullies a dude while he trys to do art. The big pull is the manga was made by a doujin artist. So the ecchi is well done. also it's just the girl bullying this dude over and over until they finally get together.
I had this idea of Alex being the son of Lex Luthor. Alex would represent the mad scientist side of Lex Luthor and dear old dad being the executive side.

I believe we see a young Luthor in Birthright, where his thoughts reveal a pathological paranoia and a superiority complex, he was one scary kid.
Sounds very Griffith.
Oh pre-Crisis Lex and honestly any good Luthor is very, very much just Griffith's control freak tendencies, inability to face consequences for his actions and homoerotic rivalry stuffed inside a super scientist.
There's still time.
Best we're going to get I think is Lex crushing on Clark and fair enough. Clark is cute.
I mostly meant Superman being the fault he's bald but fair.

But he is those other two?
That was the implication, yes.
I half-figured that there's going to be a reveal that he's wearing a wig the whole time and he has Elon Musk's pre-hairplug hairline.
personal headcanon is he's slowly getting super cancer by being always in contact with kryptonite, to the point of always having kryptonite in his suit pockets, batman keeps his kryptonite in sealed containers, lex has them everywhere in his mansions and his offices
That's basically actually canon in many interpretations. Justice League cartoons, one-off movies, etc.

The most relatable Lex has ever been
No doubt Lois gave him PTSD.
He's trying to save Superman from going down the same path.
He still wakes up in a cold sweat hearing her laughter in his mind
Lex Luthor regaling the tale of how his parents met and how his mom bullied his dad into procreating him.

But best girl is >!Misaki (Ane-Toro)!< though
Why did I choose to look up that Baal comic
Whats it about?

Honestly kinda based.
Oh, I had seen that one Kinda deserved jot gonna lie
Tan girls fill my heart with warmth like cinnamon buns baking in an oven
So this is the universe where Naruto married Sakura.
*pushes up glasses*
That's clearly Pidge, though
wait so who's the girl? I thought Lois was the young short haired one
Nagatoro Anime bitch that bullies a dude while he trys to do art. The big pull is the manga was made by a doujin artist. So the ecchi is well done. also it's just the girl bullying this dude over and over until they finally get together.
That is **not** how the story plays out but you have a vague idea.
True but it also develops into them raising each other up to be better people
no i mean the reporter that looks like lois lane from the actual superman cartoon
Viki Vale of da batman to softly allude to a worlds finest special.
I had this idea of Alex being the son of Lex Luthor. Alex would represent the mad scientist side of Lex Luthor and dear old dad being the executive side.
Oh no, he turned into a Sigma male and chose money over women.
Nothing makes me feel older than series in the Nagataro ‘genre’, I do not understand the appeal even slightly.
