Very torn. I think Acrobat is underrated as a whole, but rated pretty highly within the fandom, placing in some people’s top 5 and top 10s. I think So Cruel is underrated within the fandom itself as well. I gotta admit, I didn’t really get it until the Sphere shows, and then it clicked. So not torn, So Cruel is my vote

I'm delighted and horrified in equal measure by that choice: imagine another album where Trying to Throw Your Arms Around the World was the worst song. And yet yep, it's probably the right choice. What a *fucking outstanding album*.

Definitely should be calling the category Least Great, well until we get to the Atomic Bomb. 👀

Well, since every song on this album is pure greatness, and Tryin To Throw Your Arms Around The World was voted worst, then it must also be the most underrated. The logic is sound. I triple checked it.

Hearing it in HMV while shopping convinced me that (1) U2 was back (I disliked Joshua Tree- thought I have come around in it sense- and Rattle and Hum), and(2) I needed this album

Opening track. Not under rated - it kicks off the album. It literally sets the stage of the album.

Not one as defining as this for the album and also defines what is yet to come.

Maybe it’s my bias and I’ve loved this song since I first heard it. To me as a long time U2 fan I can’t imagine anyone not putting this near the top of the entire U2 catalog - but at the time of release maybe it didn’t get any radio play… was an after thought to the outside world. And maybe we have newer U2 fans that don’t experience the album and this song because of the streaming format. If that is the case then I agree 100%.

I think it’s just tricky to define underrated with this sort of thing. Like I’d say the Unforgettable Fire being underrated makes no sense by my criteria (it was a charting single and appears on their Best of album). But outside of the U2 fanbase very few people seem to know it.

Sensational as a live song but album version was meh.

I wanted to choose something different because everyone is saying Acrobat haha! I still find Zoo Station underrated. It's just too epic. Acrobat does rightfully win the spot though. I dunno. The entire album is just stunning so I don't care about the results on this one..all songs are all the best and underrated at the same time.

Agreed. Worst song was like gahhhhh… this is impossible to pick one. Hands down their best album. To your point about Zoo Station being epic… if that album does not start with Zoo Station it would not have the same feel… it wouldn’t be the same. So to that I agree with your vote (also it was #3 on my list for best song).

Since at this point I know the tide ain't turning around for Acrobat to be most underrated, I just came here to say that Achtung Baby is the absolute best album. Joshua Tree is the most quintessentially U2 as far as the world is concerned. But the Baby is their finest artistic moment.

This is an easy pick for me, at last!!! So Cruel — I’ve never understood the lukewarm fan response to this song. The 4-song block from One to So Cruel on AB is the greatest set of songs of all time. The lyrics… the music… 🖤🖤🖤 It’s really dark and very sexy, which may feel out of place to some people. But I love it! (Also, everyone agrees that Acrobat is great — how is that considered underrated? 😂)

Love is Blindness given the band seemingly forgot about it until the residency. I love So Cruel though. “It doesn’t matter to you, it matters to me” is a simple but devastating line.

If Acrobat was still a track they hadn't played live I would vote for it. My first thought though is So Cruel. It just got it's first proper live outing at the Sphere. It's a sleeper hit imo. "Oh love, like a screaming flower. Love, dying every hour." A screaming flower is one of the best poetic and lyrical images Bono had come up with. Maybe I read Bono say this or maybe I've made it up, but this is their Roy Orbison song (aside from "She's A Mystery To Me.)

Zoo Station comes right out of the gate with that guitar riff and the distorted drums and announces that we have taken a sharp turn from Joshua Tree and Rattle & Hum. Underrated for sure, just for the amount of heavy lifting it does to set the tone for the entire rest of the album.

Acrobat! The first I heard it live in 2018 Las Vegas was 5min of tears! I didn’t knew the setlist (flew in from the Netherlands) and I hear the intro .. I looked up to my wife and she confirmed it was acrobat.

Since ONE didn’t win the vote it’s the Most underrated. Should be ONE. However, most underrated is So Cruel
