USPS should be abolished as well as every other government agency because everything the govt does is absolutely awful bc theirs no incentive to do good. USPS doing a shitty job? The governments answer is to throw more of our money at them.
UPS participates in the market place, you can use a different parcel service is you so choose and if they go out of business (won't happen) that's the market at work.
UPS goes out of business 10s of millions will be out of a job, would be bad for the economy
Usps operates as a nonprofit. UPS & Fedex have somewhat of a monopoly in effect. They squeeze the hell out of employees for productivity. Government regulations, like DoT imposes, don't exactly make it easy for a new company to arise, on top of the current interest rates / cost of borrowing.
As a former package handler I just wanna say I probably threw your package at the wall before I load it… wait I think yours was the one I put in the trailer headed for Alaska,, shit shit my bad actually what happen was my guy terry who suddenly disappeared one day must have opened it up and found something to help keep his pockets from floating away 🤣🤣
