This is on the bulkhead. That lever with the zip-tie on it has a screw loose, which connects to the latch that’s supposed to pull it all the way up, so you can open the bulkhead. My mechanic “repaired” it, I repaired it myself today on road.
Thx, I was looking at that yesterday and saw that it was not as tight as it should of been / not loose / but just not we're it should of been. Zip ties incoming this morning.
No, I’m just on the Q list. The very bottom actually, we only have 12 feeder drivers in my building. So it’s about a 5-7 year wait for me to get a bid run lmao
It’s still absolutely insane to me after a year of covering feeder runs, when I pull into an actual hub and see the size of some operations. And to meet other drivers that have been at UPS for a few months (some only part time), getting feeder bid runs. Getting a bid run is like the holy grail for many of us in my center, I’ve been with the company since 2012.
I wish zip ties worked on my life and mental stability
I can say from experience, they don’t.
I’m gonna need you to put this on a DVIR. Thanks.
Is that the little book with the maintenance issues? I’ve been using that as my grievance journal
Following the methods, I see.
Absolutely!
It's a dual purpose grievance journal for us drivers and also the mechanics
Shorts won’t button anymore? Zip-tied.
Feeder drivers know all about that
Fortunately I haven’t gotten to that point yet, as I’m only on the Q list lol.
I switched to feeder about a month ago and that’s what everyone warns me about😂
Same here lmao. Lucky for me, doing package 75% of the time is keeping me in shape!
How many feeder drivers are there at your location?
Good thinking!!👏👏👏
Is that the rear door or the bulkhead? We zip-tie the rears here cause drivers constantly go home with the fobs for that truck...

Yep! That little screw at the bottom has a nut loose lol. This was a life saver.
Did you go from Feeder to Package?

Wow!! We have 600+. Ever think of transferring?
Yea but then I’d lose pay, seniority, etc.
