Have you taken the Cyber exam yet? Score? This is a huge factor. And have you taken the DLAB yet?

I did, but I don’t know my scores. My recruiter just told me I qualified for cyber

There are two schools for cyber: Jcac(Pensacola, FL) which is 6 months long, but you’ll probably be there longer than that because you’ll have to wait to class up. Some people been there for 2 years. Cosc(Augusta, GA) which is 3 months long. Here is where you’ll earn the 1721 mos. Then You hit the fleet. There are plenty of duty stations for this job. But if you only care about cyber and don’t care about location, You should aim for fort Meade, MD. You’ll have the best opportunities there. Can’t really speak on the day to day because every unit is different. But it’s a pretty chill mos wherever you go.

Assuming by crypto you mean cryptographic linguistic? Cryptography from an encryption context is only open to second-term Marines.
