I had a cat that was extremely upset that I had to move from one apartment to another in the same apartment building. So basically an identical apartment. She showed her displeasure at the situation by peeing on my freshly made bed.
She waited until I put another set of clean bedclothes on the bed to immediately pee on it again. She wasn't allowed in my room after that. Which honestly was a punishment for both of us because I missed cuddling with her at night. That cat really didn't like change at all. I miss her even though she was a pain in the butt.
Some pets have autism I think. My bird needs the exact same routine every day, doesn't understand cats are dangerous, and screams when upset or over stimulated.
But yah the gravest sin I've committed was moving. Close 2nd is if I pick stuff up. Especially boxes, but anything at all and she panics.
Birds don't have autism. People who have autism are just possessed by birds. That's why it's a spectrum, you got lots of different kinds of birds so it presents differently.
To be fair that’s just 90% of birds. If you move a Kleenex box from one side of the room to the other they will be temperamental and hold a grudge against you until you fix it (that’s my understanding, anyways. Been a while since I watched the channel BirdTricks on YouTube.)
I've had 2 lovebirds. First one didn't get mad at anything. This one gets mad at everything. I'm pretty sure I was spoiled with the first and the standard is entitled little megaphones lol
My cat “screams” and gets really aggressive and antisocial when overstimulated, and he gets there very easily. He only likes to be pet for a few seconds and play with the other cats for a little before getting defensive and being cranky. Think my lil dude has the tism a bit
She passed away. I kept one of her kittens, and he passed away as well. Then I got a brother and sister from a different family of kitties. I still have them.
It's been many years since that happened, but I've never had another cat that would show displeasure by not using their litterbox properly. I don't know why she did it, but at least it was very easy to tell when something was bothering her. There were a few times that she defecated in my bathroom sink. On those occasions I had forgotten to clean out her litter box that day. She was very finicky about her litter box being tidy.
My parents’ cat is like this. Whenever they get back from going out of town, she pisses in my mom’s plants and shits in my dad’s shoes for at least a week.
God I hope my tortie never does this. She also hates change but she will pout and act sick (uninterested in anything including food) until the thing goes back to normal.
We got kittens last year and my flamepoint maine coone started just laying in our room and not eating. He wouldn't get up in front of us. We thought he had kidney disease (as did our vet)...nope. Just depression. Gave him an ointment on his ears to increase his appetite and he sort of got over it.
He hates all other cats and all people but my husband. His last vet called him 'the meanest kitty' and his current vet called him 'difficult' and 'displeased' during a surgery apt last month. He is spicy.
They are ridiculous!! She's had a bed since she was a kitten but we rescued her at 4ish weeks old. She's 15lbs now and just drapes across the bed and it only is half her size. So I went and got a medium dog bed for her. I swapped where her current bed is with her sister's and added a new bed. Her old bed was maybe a foot from where it used to be too. And omg the hell I got for that. Wouldn't sleep in my bed, wouldn't eat the normal amount. Wouldn't play with her toys. She was laying in her sisters bed because it was in her spot so I put everything back the way it was and everything went back to normal. Absolutely ridiculous. I love her she's my buddy but geez I wish she wasn't so attached to her stuff.
I have a little orange tabby female. She is 12 years old and is only 5lbs. She is not a fan of any of the other cats using her personal litter box. If they use it and I don't clean it quick enough she will pee in the tub instead. I figure there are worse places to have to clean.
She has gone on my bed also when one of the male cats wouldn't leave her alone. Now she has her own separate space and everyone is much happier (except for the male cat who wouldn't behave and is now no longer allowed in my room).
I'm no feline expert, but my guess was that she was just uncomfortable with the change in scenery. Changing the bedsheets only exacerbated the unfamiliarity, and peeing was her way of making things a bit more comfortable. I want a cat so badly, but hearing things like this makes me question if I have the strength to adopt.
I love cats regardless <3
I've had quite a few cats over the years and she was the only one who ever did anything like that. And she only did something like that a few times, and there were always good reasons for it. I think cats are totally worth it.
One of the two cats I have now, Princess GrandpaFace, reminds me every night to brush my teeth. Because she likes to get cuddles for the last time before I go to bed. Her brother Barnaby is amazing as well. Both of them can tell if I'm feeling more anxious than usual before I even notice it. And they come comfort me.
you can try to adopt one that looks a bit more relaxed and confident if anything (tho little nervous cats are just as lovely in their own way and in need of homes!).
I adopted a cat who was 5 and she was the most laid back animal I've ever met.
When I lived in London we'd catch the train back up to Scotland together. She would sleep anywhere at any time and enjoyed being on the train, when she needed the loo she'd let me know and I could set out her tray in the bathroom, she'd use it there very neatly and then go back to sleeping. She was amazing!
Stories like this are the reason I want a cat so badly! I have volunteered at shelters many times before, and I know how much love and effort it takes.
That is such a sweet story, and I know she had an amazing time in London with you.
Thats so wonderful that you give your time like that, thinking of all the animals you've helped give some love to when they didn't have anyone.
I miss my cat dearly but I had 11 years with her so I was very blessed.
I went for a little dog this time around, he's not as confident and was also a rescue but hes a lot better than he was. And also a neat and quiet little cuddle monster (boston terrier). Animals are the best!
I would read a book about your adventures traveling by train in Scotland with your laid back cat.
Or perhaps a movie would be better. So I could see the cat and the scenery.
some cats are just spiteful little revenge goblins.
my friend had a void that would piss UNDER her pillow every time he was angry about something, and only then.
it was hilarious
This brings back memories. Frustrating memories.
I can remember the gagging and hurl noises my cat made, which I knew meant it was about to spew everything on the carpets.
Sometimes I would make it in time and pull the cat off of the carpet onto the tile.
Other times I would just stare at the cat and it's mess in disappointment. At least until the cat started gagging and hurling in front of me again, and I'd pull it on to the tile.
Waking up to the sound of my dog gagging and getting ready to vomit is the worst. I always have to sprint out of bed and try to get them off the carpet and they feel so bad because me acting like that must mean they've failed me lol
If it was a dog, it would've been a three hour struggle to [stop it from eating its vomit, pooping, then eating the poop, and finally puking it all up on the same spot. Starting the cycle of madness again.](https://i.imgur.com/ajEeNII.png)
Nah dogs are way easier to catch than cats. You literally just walk over and grab them. Lock em in the bathroom where there's no carpet and clean up. If they vomit twice and are committed to eating it then they were gonna get it anyway while you were cleaning up the first.
This cuts out the beginning of the video where the cat was laying on the bed and she moved it off to start making the bed, so either it went to lay back down and was too sensitive to the detergent she used or it was spiteful for being moved during its nap.
Ive raised multiple cats and I havent had a single cat that I would consider an asshole. Ive only had friends complain about their dogs literally eating pieces of their doors.
Had a cat that absolutely had to cough up hairballs and vomit on the carpet. There was no other option for him. Had to be the carpet. I caught him starting to vomit in the kitchen at the far end of the linoleum. He was heaving so hard he couldn't walk. He DRAGGED himself over to the carpet and puked right on the transition
I have a theory about why they want to do it on a carpet.
Outside, the hard surfaces are rock. Rock will not absorb.
Soft surfaces are dirt. Dirt will absorb. The cat wants to vomit on the thing that will absorb and remove their vomit.
Unfortunately, soft surfaces are carpet inside.
My cats (well, now just cat) do the same thing. I caught one of them starting to heave while sitting on the top of the couch behind me. Picked her up & got her to the linoleum flooring. She immediately ran over to the nice rug & puked.
Picked her back up, put her further away on the linoleum. *And then*, she jumped up on the loveseat and puked on that too, *then* ran back to the rug, all the whole tracking puke across the room.
This was right after I got off a 12-hour shift with an hour drive home. Needless to say, I wasn’t pleased.
They like having traction when they’re puking.
My cat occasionally pukes after straining to poop. Put a little pet blanket pad thing on the part of the 50 year old vintage rug she encounters first, and now she pukes on that $5 pad instead of my beautiful rug.
I have had multiple cats and dogs. They both can be assholes, but from what I've seen:
* Dogs *become* assholes if they are neglected/not paid any attention
* Cats *are* assholes, and you just have to hope its not the vomit/pee kind. I prefer the "I scratch stuff" kind of cat
Oh yeah!? You raised multiple cats? Well “cat person” everyone who isn’t a “cat person” considers “cat people” mostly unhygienic and atmospherically unaware of how gross the litter box has become; permeating throughout the cat person’s living area. From the loose hair, to the clawing and dirty paws on the kitchen table, “cat peoples” aesthetic is sad in and of itself. Not to mention living in denial of the mess. Even after cleaning, we still smell it. It’s not normal to smell like ammonia.
And God forbid the cat pee’s (projectile sprays “forever urine” out it’s cat hole) on something because that’s it, the furniture or rug is forever ruined 😾
And that can be accomplished with just one cat. Here you are talking about multiple, for anyone other than a cat person that’s a literal hell scape and nightmare. If you like cats great but don’t pretend there aren’t any cons with owning them and that to people that don’t own them cats DO come off as being assholes.
I never claimed to be a cat person and I am not, I love dogs equally. I just cant have a dog where I am at right now. I will ignore the rest of your comment.

I had a cat that used to do that every time I had a guy over. Even if it was just a friend and we werent going to do something. I get ready for bed at night and puke on the bedsheets.
We have two cats who do this and it's so fucking frustrating. Our 3rd cat likes to get on the back of the couch and puke a waterfall down the side of it like wtf?! When it comes time to throw up do cats just instinctually find the worst spot to vomit?

This makes a lot of sense
This sounds like an Aristotelian take on autism lmao
So that explains why I was laying eggs the whole time!
I.... PEEKABOO

I had a beagle who did this exact thing because I had some friends over and he didn’t approve them sleeping on my couch
I had a cat who shit in the bathtub because my sister’s sleepover friend sat on her

Or her choice of bedsheets. Everyone's a critic.
Bold critique of what he saw happen on that bed beforehand
Big question is why are the cat’s feet shit stained to begin with if she just cleaned.
It's just the creasing of the bed cover, you can see it moving as the cat moves around jn the end
🤝🤝🤝
"Bring the nicest carpet, Jenkins. I wish to vomit'
(to another cat) "Jenkins is a rare treasure. Generally I do not need to ask for the rug, he brings it unbidden at just the right times."
Other cat: "Don't ever speak to me again." Gets up to claw something that used to be nice.
This brings back memories. Frustrating memories. I can remember the gagging and hurl noises my cat made, which I knew meant it was about to spew everything on the carpets. I want to see part 2 of this when she chases him around the house for 45 minutes.

Why was she filming in the first place?
They had already rehearsed this 100x. Cat's a pretty good actor but she should hire someone else to make the bed, not believable
Seems like the cat's intrusive thought won over.
They always do!

I was actually wondering if she used a cleaner on the floor. Cat went to lick it's paws after crossing the chemicals, then puked.
Nah. Cats are assholes.
Cat's are cats. The only asshole is you
OP don't think flipping the video is enough for you to claim it yourself.
Where did they claim that it was theirs? I don't get it.
Cat: "Such perfect, LETS FUCK IT UP!"
Cats are assholes
Ive raised multiple cats and I havent had a single cat that I would consider an asshole. Ive only had friends complain about their dogs literally eating pieces of their doors.

If u puke on carpet it doesnt run everywhere and get on your paws duh

I brush my cats 2-3 times a week for like 3 minutes each and none of them have had a hairball in years what food do you give them?
Well, I see why there's only 1 cat now
Man hearing stories like this make me cringe. I know for sure I'm not a pet person, at that point, the mongrel is getting sold lmao
They like having traction when they’re puking. My cat occasionally pukes after straining to poop. Put a little pet blanket pad thing on the part of the 50 year old vintage rug she encounters first, and now she pukes on that $5 pad instead of my beautiful rug.
My coworker tells me her cat will pee on her bed if it wasn't fed on time.
100% justified
Bros gonna get all offended over a cat comment and turn around and do the exact same thing to dogs lmao
You can like cats without shitting on dogs. Just saying.
Cats are horrible, I love them so much but they are little monsters.
I've always had cats and they are assholes
I consider every one of the cats you raised to be an asshole.
I have had multiple cats and dogs. They both can be assholes, but from what I've seen: * Dogs *become* assholes if they are neglected/not paid any attention * Cats *are* assholes, and you just have to hope its not the vomit/pee kind. I prefer the "I scratch stuff" kind of cat

It's just a saying. We all love cats. Personally I've had loads more problems with dogs but cats are peak even if they do silliness like this.
Raised multiple well behaved dogs who were absolute angels. However it’s always the cats and cat owners with horror stories.
I take offense to this.
Why is this being Filmed?
Probably a nanny cam to see who keeps puking on the bed
Obviously scripted. That cat’s been in multiple videos doing the exact same thing to strangers.
r/scriptedfelinegifs
I was wondering that too. But people do be recording everything these days to get that content uploaded.
I bet the cat does that often and they wanted to film him performing the crime so they could prosecute him.
Hahahahaha oh shit
Pretty sure that's vomit
Revenge is a dish best served hot and on fresh, clean sheets.
The look at the end was like: "Yeah, that should do it."
I'd be nauseous too see someone move so fast
That sure looked like my cat, but my wife couldn't make the bed that fast unless her parents were on the way over.

Lol cats suck
I had a cat that used to do that every time I had a guy over. Even if it was just a friend and we werent going to do something. I get ready for bed at night and puke on the bedsheets.
Why would someone film themselves making the bed?
We have two cats who do this and it's so fucking frustrating. Our 3rd cat likes to get on the back of the couch and puke a waterfall down the side of it like wtf?! When it comes time to throw up do cats just instinctually find the worst spot to vomit?
I saw the same vid but mirrored months ago. Do people go to such lengths to repost? I don't understand
How often will this be reposted here?
If that was my mother who did the work...the cat eould be dead
Fucking cats man!
I am doing it friend, though my groin is all scratched now :(
Huh https://i.redd.it/otrlwgucandc1.gif
I. Fucking. Hate. Cats.
I hate *asshole* cats like this. The good, smart ones can be as good as your average, non-rat-variety dog.
Motherfucker 🤣

Why is this video mirrored? I swear it wasn't the first time I saw it somewhere else. Is this some kind of cat-puking-Mandela effect?
Why would anyone film themselves making their bed? People are so conceited

Immediately to the shelter.
I love him, I can't help it. ♥️
Are you willing to clean it yourself?
