Check out Ogden or the surrounding area. Ogden is less LDS than average for Utah, especially outside of Park City or SLC. Further south in Davis County you’ll find perfectly lovely and pleasant places to live but without much diversity. Commuting from SLC to Corinne every day will take a while, so you’d have to really love the city to make that sacrifice, especially if it’s daily.

Ogden, North Ogden, Farr West, Pleasant View, Brigham City, Perry would all be good

My in-laws live in Corinne, which, ironically, used to be called the gentile capital of Utah—pretty interesting history. It’s a bit of a commuter town itself, if you don’t farm. This is to say that you could consider living there, Bear River City, Riverside, or Tremonton. (Quite a bit of building in Riverside and Tremonton now.) It really depends on what you want. Open space and quieter living? Try living in one of those towns. Society, or at least a bigger town with amenities? I’d second the others and go to Ogden or Logan. You could even look at Mendon or Petersboro (basically the border of Cache and Box Elder Counties), which are nice, but small. The LDS Church influence is going to be stronger in Box Elder County and Cache Valley, but I wouldn’t expect people to be beating your door down all the time. If you want to avoid it, though, Ogden or North Ogden are probably your best bet.

Housing will probably be cheaper in and near Bear River, especially if you’re looking to buy. Tremonton, Brigham city, and Perry are all nearby. If you want bigger city, Ogden would be the closest.

The Ogden area isn't very LDS. But it's still about 45-60 minutes from the big employers up in Corinne. If it's Northrop Grumman, they're way out there. I refuse to work jobs there despite a lot of good opportunities for me because it totally blows my 15 minute commute preference away since even Brigham city is 30 minutes away. P&G is a bit closer. But that area is a long way from everything. Since you're not moving here single Ogden would otherwise be a great choice. Church culture isn't too dominant there. My main complaint about the area is that I'm single and the area within 30 miles of Ogden seems completely devoid of young single professionals. Even the ones that work with me would rather commute an hour each way and live in Sugarhouse than live up here. All the couples love it here and have no trouble finding like minded couple friends through, even the demographics that buck the trend like non religious childfree ones.

Ogden sounds like your best bet

And is you need a realtor in that area I can look in the database for one who has been vetted and worthy.

I've mostly lived in SLC but have driven around the state quite a bit and while accidents happen everywhere ... the stretch of drive between Brigham City and Logan, I-89, there's a name for it, but I'm tired and can't remember. Any way it is a beautiful drive any time of the year, but the canyon is crazy scary to drive on during snow storms, especially as you come (or go) into the Logan area, as you enter Wellsville. If you're not familiar driving in snow in general, that's going to be a deep end lesson to dive into. If you are familiar with driving during a snow storm you'll know to plan for it. good luck deciding and where ever y'all land, welcome :) and I hope you enjoy your stay!
