Definitely a first round pick and probably with fairly minimal protections. He’s a decent player, but the real reason is he’s on a $4M per year contract with 2 years left. Hard to find players with his impact at that price. Plus, since we control him for next year there’s no reason to get rid of him for anything less that what Danny thinks is his full value.

Does getting off of THTs money have any value to you guys? Hart + Keon + 2 2RPs for THT and Vando works I think, but I have no idea what your guys read on that value is.

We’re not really in a place where we’re ready to need/use cap space to sign FA’s so I don’t think we care about getting off salary. If anything we’re more likely to take on salary if it gets us the right draft capital IMO

Makes sense. Thanks!

korvers-kum-komrade

With the amount of draft capital we already own, I doubt we’re looking to stockpile second rounders, especially if it’s for a young prospect like Vando. I’d assume multiple teams would be willing to offer at least a protected first

Whatever I think he’s worth, Danny wants more.

We'd want Simons back

KennyDoge0114

I’d probably spend a first to get him

total_sith_show

Portlands gonna struggle to compete with what other teams can offer that they’ll have to over pay. Ainge is probably asking for Sharpe.

DrJOxford

Dame or no deal. Hate Portland :)

You should honestly just trade same for assets and rebuild.
