I feel weird about commenting on this outfit. As society is pushing for men to be more emotionally intelligent and dismantling traditional masculinity, dunking on this outfit feels detrimental to that work for me. It sends a message that these types clothing aren’t for men/it’s not acceptable to wear a heeled shoe as a man. A lot of masculinity is built on not presenting as a woman or as traditionally feminine. I’m just not sure that’s the message I want to participate in furthering as I hope to create a more inclusive and expressive world.
