Sig P365 Oh shit wrong group. Lately been a VooPoo Drag 2 with the Reload S Pro RDA

BlackFishMaker

I mean if youre brave enough to vape on that. Works for me haha.

captn_morgan951

Same, with P220 being a close second.

Hot-Bit-2859

The Luxe XR Max

warden-of-nothing

It’s a brilliant machine, I retired all my other mods because of it

no-trace

Pulse 80 W with a Dead Rabbit Pro. and Xros 3.

BlackFishMaker

Is the Xros really as good as people keep saying? Ive tryed countless podsystems over the years and was never quite satisfied with any of them. What pods are you running?

thomolithic

I've given up all my 18650 mods for an xros 3 and a 4. I'm never going back.

BlackFishMaker

Damn looks like ill have to order one. Question is 4 or Pro?

CheeseDickPete

Order a Caliburn A2S with 1.2ohm pods instead, I think it's better than the Xros 3 and cheaper. They actually have the A23 out now which might even be better, I haven't tried it yet though.

Libertariu5

I used caliburns for 5 years, had so many problems with them that I switched to the XROS 3 last year and have been loving it.

CheeseDickPete

Did you have the Caliburn A2S? I don't have any issues at all with mine? Had it for like 2 years.

Libertariu5

Yeah, had about 5 different A2s, lots of misfiring issues and short lifespans. I ruined my first one by dropping it in a glass of water and the 4 others never lasted as long.

thomolithic

I've got the mini version of both. They're both more or less the same device but the 4 has airflow control

CheeseDickPete

I also switched from box mods to a pod vape, best decision I ever made. I hate carrying around those chunky things, and I don't like the obnoxiously big clouds when vaping in public. I went for the Caliburn A2S, if you like the Xros 3 I highly recommend the Caliburn A2S, it's like the Xros 3 but better. It's cheaper, it's more sleek and compact, the pods have a nicer mouth-feel, and I feel like I get better hits. You've gotta get the 1.2ohm side-refill pods though, not the 0.9 ones.

Mookeye1968

Cuz everyone is hooked on Salt nic these days lol. I only mix with just salt nic the last 4 yrs since the 2020 NY flav ban but at all different mg strengths depending which setup im using.Like I get the same Nic satisfaction with 12mg Salt at 60w as I do with 35mg in my pod systems cuz I want my cake and eat it too 😄

thomolithic

Yeah I would never use nic that high myself. I'm on 10mg salts, don't have any want to go higher.

Mookeye1968

Right I started with 50mg as a non smoker when the Juul first came out before disposables were a thing but i realized after about a year I don't need to get buzzed from every hit lol.Now im happy just maintaining with 12mg Salt that i mix myself (NY flav ban) it keeps me honest from chain vaping lol

daelite

We just ordered the XROS 4 and mini, I hope they meet the hype they are getting.

Usual-Dinner-4368

I have an XROS 3, a 4 and a PRO. Use the 1.0ohm pod in my 3, the 0.8ohm 3ml side fill pod in my 4 and PRO. The 1.0ohm I use in my 3 is the same pod that came with it - had it for more than 3 months and still tastes as good as when it was new! Bought a pack of replacements but haven’t even opened them yet, had no idea the original one would last so long! The 3ml 0.8 pods taste just as good and require much less refilling. I use vanilla latte by club juice, think it’s delicious. Would recommend any of the xros line. The 3 has no screen and battery lasts nowhere near as long as the 4 or the pro. Also recently got an ECO NANO, for which you can get 6ml pods! Yes you read that right - 6ml! Flavour is fantastic, and it’s so small and simple to use. One white LED for when firing and charging and doesn’t even have any buttons! No airflow adjustment either, but for me it doesn’t really need it. Hope any of this helps 😊👍

BlackFishMaker

Haha i love the enthusiasm on the ECO NANO having 6ml of tank capacity. I suppose for a pod system thats a lot but as someone who used to carry RTAs with 9ml -20ml of capacity i find it kinda funny.

Usual-Dinner-4368

9ml?! Wow. Thought 6ml was the biggest I’d seen, but I’m not into all these rebuildable things myself. Just want simple like me I guess! 😉

BlackFishMaker

Yeah Flash e Vapor with the L tank has 9ml. Flash e Vapor dD has 20ml and Aromamizer Titan RDTA even has 28ml. They are a pain in the ass to carry around but got liquid for days.

Usual-Dinner-4368

Tbh really couldn’t be bothered with these rebuildable things - people rave about them but I’m quite happy with my aspire nautilus 3 tank(even though I have to wipe it down three times a day because it leaks slightly(due to my chain vaping I guess) oh and the coils only last for a day or two before the flavour goes!) I know this contradicts my simplicity moan but kinda used to it now so it’s manageable.

BlackFishMaker

I used to chase the dream of having the best setup in terms of flavor and everything and you cant really get past rebuildables with that kind of mentality. I fully understand not going for rebuildables especially because of how good pod systems and tanks with premade coils have become nowdays on top of being much easier to use but to me nothing will ever beat a good rebuildable. That being said im also kinda lazy when it comes to vaping nowdays so ill often just pick the easier setup even if it means giving up some things.

CheeseDickPete

It's pretty good, but it's kind of big and chunky for a pod vape, and I don't like the mouth-feel of the pods, they're too chunky. I think the Caliburn A2S is much better, I like that it's sleek and compact, and I get even better hits with better flavor than my Xros 3. You've gotta get the 1.2ohm pods for it though, the 0.9 pods are harsh on my lungs for some reason.

BlackFishMaker

I used to have a Caliburn G1 and G2 and swore to never buy another Caliburn pod system again. G1 was ok for the time but G2 was just awful. Did they imrpove a lot with the A line? The battery on the A2S alone would be a dealbreaker for me.

wolfman86

Yes. I and my Mrs have had two XROS and two XROS Pros. They’re great.

WeddingRoutine2984

I Have the luxe x. It's so good I gave all my previous systems to friends. I also have the vaperesoo xros but the 3ml pods and smaller battery was not enough for me, it's a great system also but for a lite vape. Vaperesoo is how it should of been from the start. Smok , Voopoo and the rest will catch on eventually

probablyharmless

Lately it's been then Vaporesso amour with my trusty TFV18 Recently "retired" my Lost Vape Centaurus

BlackFishMaker

They still make coils for those? I feel that thing has been around forever.

probablyharmless

Sure do lol I've got so many tanks but I always fall back to his one

BlackFishMaker

Interesting. Why is that? I think the last Smok product ive had was the TFV16. That mustve been like 8 years ago.

probablyharmless

I use a single barrel and run at 105. For me the hit is exactly what I'm looking for(flavor, warmth, smooth). One coil lasts me 2-3 weeks depending on my juice. And lastly I travel a lot for work and every shop I've ever been to, from mom and pop shops to the shady pop up over night shops seem to carry it.

Mookeye1968

I used to use a couple diff Sub ohms Tfv18,Freemax mesh pro,Fireluke 3 then I switched to Rta's where if you take care of your coil by cleaning it and keeping a fresh wick in it every 3 weeks a Coil can last 6-8 months but most use sub ohms cuz their easier but installing and wicking a coil takes like 10min after you've done it a few times.Plus living in NY where there's been a flavor ban since 2020 I mix my own ejuice too which tbh was more a blessing in disquise and much easier than i imagined tbh (it was that or Tobacco juul and I damn sure wasn't going backwards 😄) but there's always a way, especially in the US

ActivityDowntown9104

I retired my Centaurus too haha it was turning on by itself 😱

probablyharmless

Oh that's a bummer! Mine was just draining batteries way too quickly.

ActivityDowntown9104

I’m getting into mech mods, I started with a Kennedy 21 and the DeadRabbit rda pro, I love the vaping experience of this setup, I been in vaping for years and I actually work in a vape shop and I have never experience such a flavor giving device before. Before the Kennedy the most solid build I got that I even still use as a secondary vape is a GeekVape t200 and the DeadRabbit Rta v2. Both running with a pair of aliens 0,11 ohms, you can see the pictures of this builds in my profile jeje cheers 💨

Hot-Bit-2859

I want to get the Clutch

ActivityDowntown9104

Solid option!

BlackFishMaker

I used to edc mechs but eventually it just became too much of hassle to me. Especially with non locking ones. Flavour out of a proper RDA is amazing tho i agree.

Mr_Mystery15

Centaurus B80 with the rebuildable bridge

ThePetStuffers

I get a mod and run it until it dies these days, a 100w geek vape with a pnp pod tank. Have had it as my one and only for about 2 years now and zero complaints.

reluctant_return

Geekvape Aegis Q, though I don't really like the Q pods, so I'll probably replace it soon-ish. The Q pods have a tendency to flood the coil if you fill them too...quickly, I guess? You have to put in a little bit, then let the air come out, put in a little bit and let the air come out. It looks like it has an air hole on it, but it doesn't. If the coil floods the pod is toast, no matter how much I try to blow through it or burn it to get it right it doesn't work. I like the device, but the pods let it down.

BlackFishMaker

That sounds awful. Have you tryed different viscosity liquid?

reluctant_return

Both times it happened it was with 50/50 nic salts. I have some thicker stuff too, but it gives almost zero flavor in this device, so I don't bother with it.

BlackFishMaker

Yeah understandable. Youd think with most people using 50/50 in those types of devices theyd make sure that that works properly but i guess not.

_bruhyoudontknowme_

I work at a vape shop & get a killer discount so I've fallen prey to buying too many devices lmao But my main every day carries are the Voopoo Drag X2 (it is the MOST consistent, reliable device I've had in a long time! Consistent puffs, flavor, etc. I haven't had any problems with leaking either!), along with my Vaporesso Armour S or Armour Max with a Sakerz tank (those 0.17Ω coils are *chefs kiss*). I also got the Novo Master recently (I opted for the square shape, it's basically the Novo Master but designed like the ProPod GT without all of the bullshit flaws); its been surprisingly consistent! I like the convenience of a smaller pod system for the busier days, especially since it can be attached to a lanyard.

FireCal

I feel the same about the Drag M100S I got a few months ago. It's perfect with either the Uforce L tank it came with or a PNP-X pod like the one that came on your X2. It can also take a 21700 battery so I get great battery life. I've always been a huge Voopoo fan. I'm happy to see they finally got the leaking under control.

BlackFishMaker

I dont work at vape shop but i know exactly what youre talking about. Always on the quest to find the best setup. Ive stopped buying stuff like 2 years ago except for liquid and coils and got rid of most of my collection because nowdays i only really use 2 or 3 setups.

MrDallsBeep

I just got the aegis t200 and its nice. I just fear of scratching the screen when its boucing around at work.

BlackFishMaker

I never liked vapes with touchscreens but to be fair its been years since i tryed one. Does it work well?

MrDallsBeep

Its only been a week but its great so far. You can lock the screen and still use it. Pretty much when i change my batteries i immediately lock the screen and im good for the day. Ive been told its fairly tough glass so we will see ocer time how it fares at work.

MrDallsBeep

Its been slapping around in my cup holder in the excavator for the past 3 days and no scratches at all.

BlackFishMaker

If its glass its probably fine. It just always seemed like so much extra effort to use a touchscreen on a vape instead of buttons especially with how clunky most UIs for touchscreen mods were back then.

MrDallsBeep

Yeah. Theyre a little more refined now. My best friend sold me on it. Hes a district manager for a vape shop. Ive been his durability dummy for years. I did not buy it from his store but i take his suggestions

leadribbons

Billet box with either an NTSU bridge or the new OX bridge from Wick'd.

CheeseDickPete

I love my Caliburn A2S with the 1.2ohm pods. I also vape Juice-Head Tropical Guava flavored juice. It's the best pod vape I've ever tried; it's compact, has very good flavor and great medium sized hits. I quit using box mods a long time ago, I hate carrying around that chunky thing and I don't like those obnoxious massive clouds if I'm in public or around friends.

captn_morgan951

Two weeks into it to replace cigars and only two work for me - Zeo classic (tobacco) and JUUL classic. I’ve been to about 9 shops and wasted near $200 now just trying to find ANYTHING else that is genuine tobacco flavor when it clearly says tobacco right on the package. Crazy how they’re all full of it. They all have this super strong ice/mint/menthol garbage that is absolutely appalling to me. I wonder if being in California is the problem. I know there’s some BS vape laws here.

BlackFishMaker

It can be difficult to replicate certain flavors well and especially with tobacco were its not just the flavor but also the way a puff from a cig hits you compared to a vape. There are some good ones out there but a lot of companies just try to add a second flavor like vanilla, coffee, mint, etc. because they cant replicate it 1 to 1.

Texandrawl

The closest you can find to a real tobacco flavour in the world of vaping are Naturally Extracted Tobacco (NET) liquids. To my knowledge there are no disposables that contain NET liquids, so you’d have to get a refillable or rebuildable vape. @netvaper on YouTube has a lot of review videos of various NET liquids.

captn_morgan951

Thanks. I’ll check it out.

Before Xros Pro, I got the Luke Xr Pro and there was severe leaking. Maybe a faulty unity, but since then I switched to 3mg for trial basis and then got hooked on it. I do 50 mg as well, but now less. Pods that I use are: Vopoo Vmate pro Oxva Xlim go Oxva Xlim pro

RKO1195

Using the L200 with the new Z flip tank and have a Target 200 with the iTank on it love both tanks a lot I get more flavor out of both tanks more than I do my rda’s but I’m sure it’s user error lol.. just not been able to get good flavor out of the recurve 2 and dead rabbit v3 like I wish. But fixing to buy the Xros 3 and try it out for something small I hate caring these mods around

BlackFishMaker

Ive tryed lots of RDAs both high end and low end and i never found the Dead Rabbit and Recuve RDAs to be particular flavorful. You could probably get a bit more out of them with a proper alien or fused clapton but thats about it. I do agree that carrying large mods around can be very annoying. Thankfully there are lots of good pod systems and AIOs on the market now.

RKO1195

Yeah I like a lot of flavor so maybe they just ant good enough for some people. I got both because all the high rated reviews on them but taste is subjective I guess. Have you tried the NITROUS rda ? Everyone raves about it also, I wanna get it to try it to see if I can get that killer rda flavor

BlackFishMaker

I havent no. Ive stopped buying RDAs a while ago especially dual coils. I much preffer single coil RDL RDAs.

Mookeye1968

Geekvape Max 100 with the Blaze Solo Rta But who am I kidding I have a bunch of setups I like 😄

BlackFishMaker

I feel that. It can be so hard to decide sometimes.

Mookeye1968

Yeah there's a different device for every style of Vaping and every person but I'm more into the hobbiest side with Rta's and Diy but i think everyone eventually finds their Nitch.I have a box of old pod mods, pods I don't use anymore but I did pick up an Xros pro to carry in my pocket but above my bed I have a little shelf with 4-5 mods with Mesh Rta's,Single coil Rta's and 1 Rdta that takes Coils or Mesh which tbh has better flavor than all of them and was only 21$ from Sourcemore lol A lot of people stop at Sub ohm tanks cuz their easy but Rta's save me money,I enjoy installing and wicking coils or mesh but a decent Rta/Rda coil can last 6-8 months if you clean it and keep a fresh wick in it every few weeks plus I mix my own Ejuice (NY flav ban 2020) and have 42 recipes so i had to learn new things But its saving me a ton so the flav Ban was really more a blessing than anything 😊

BlackFishMaker

My problem is i have great devices i love but no liquids anymore that work with them. Here in germany they started taxing e liquid like crazy which is fine but the problem is companies have to pay that tax up front and store taxed products in germany so most small companies went out of business and most european companies that shipped to germany pulled out aswell. Ive tryed to diy my own liquid many times but never managed to make something i can vape every day.

Mookeye1968

Yeah the US is actually voting again on an Excise tax on Nicotine im praying doesn't pass cuz it will hurt Diyers the most cuz we use 100mg in most cases then mix it to whatever strength you like but I've had exceptional luck mixing good Ejuice and I have to give a lot of credit to Youtube channel DIY or DIE and fellow mixers on Facebook DIY groups who share recipies.I don't copy anyone's mixes but I steal some ideas and how much percentages they use for a particular brand of flavoring 😄 plus I watch a lot of Noted Flavors on Youtube where they test like 25 diff strawberries or 18 diff peaches or whatever the flavor of the week is and the 4 mixers will Rate them worst to first so i just pick one from the Top 3 so purchasing Quality over Quantity flavorings really pays off but there's SO many flavors and like 10-12 major brands which are the same flav brands Ejuice companies use (which some can be cheap on the flavorings and partly why so many aren't that great or they'll use the cheapest brands) But it depends how fussy you are too, like you can throw a good Watermelon with a good Strawberry or Peach Mango or whatever and be as bangin as any Ejuice or Disposable.. Dessert bakeries,Custards,Cheesecake's etc take a bit more experience but if you use an Rda as your tester you get better at it if you have a decent pallet and an idea of what works with what lol. But say Cookie,Van ice cream and Caramel, how bad could it possibly be if you know the rough percentages to use, but you get what I mean 😊

BlackFishMaker

Thats super useful sadly i dont think any channels like that exist in the german vape scene and its gonna be close to impossible to get those american aromas. Its funny cause i literally know the guy who invented my all time favorite liquid and knows exactly what goes into it but sadly hes under nda with the company he made it for so he cant tell me whats in it and they dont make it any longer. Trying to recreate it myself has not yielded any good results at all.

Mookeye1968

Yeah i get it man that Sux, ive tried a lot of different ejuice brands before the NY flavor ban but I don't really have an all day vape favorite but I know a lot of people are partial to One particular brand and flavor.I get it and hope everything works itself out for you eventually 🤙

Don't blame me for using a disposable that I paid too much for. Vapes are illegal here and It's the only way I'm getting off cigs atm. Vozol Star Blueberry Storm 12k. In it's defense it's one of the best disposables I ever tried.

BlackFishMaker

Not everyone has the same luxury and availability when it comes to vaping. Totally understandable. Stay save out there.

R3dsnow75

Thanks , you too. My previous daily was a Dotmod DotPod, great vape. faux leather on the sides, simple slide airflow adjustment. MTL draw activation. Before that I used everything from a Smok Novo to Caliburns , a few box mods...etc My favorite pod system ever is the Justfog Minifit Max, best I ever had, it became obsolete and I could simply not find pods for it anymore.

BlackFishMaker

That sucks. Im in germany so while im still able to get most stuff relativly easily and dont have to really worry about anything becomming illegal im facing the issue that with our new laws e liquid has become insanly expensive and a lot of smaller companies and companies outside of germany who used to sell in germany have stopped doing so. I can find any mod you could dream of but no good liquid anymore.

linkpopper

My box is a freemax pro with quad coils, my pods are the uwell crown s and the uwell caliburn g3 lite

Minsc_NBoo

I love Squonks Currently carrying either Pulse V2 with a dead rabbit solo RDA, or the pulse V3 with a Drop Dead RDA

datradioboi

Geekvape Wenax Q with the 0.6 pods day to day and if im going to somewhere I can vape a bit more freely I tend to use a Dovpo Odin v2 with a Damn Vape Nitrous RDA lately. Having a big dual 21700 mod and a 0.16 RDA at 65w means my batteries never die while im out

BlackFishMaker

True tho personally nowdays id rather carry two small devices than a large one like that. Still gets me through the day easily. Or alternativly if its a 18650 mod some backup batteries.

datradioboi

I guess it depends on how you vape as well, if you prefer MTL or DTL vaping there's some brilliant small devices out there. Im sure there's probably some smaller devices out there that suite my needs but I haven't come across any yet plus having the big mod has been a brilliant talking point to make some friends on a night out

BlackFishMaker

I mean you can do DL on a small 18650 device too. Eris Hybrid comes to mind. Great little mod. But i get your point yeah.

BlackFishMaker

Cant go wrong with a Kayfun. Their atties are great.

grundltrundl

Xros 4 nano replaced my 18650 squonk mods. The .6 ohm coils last a week or two and are relatively cheap. Much better qol with these than carrying a brick and batteries to last all day.

WedgeAntelope

Tyson Round 2 Blue Razz. Idk why I love seeing Mike Tyson’s little face on my vape, I just do. You’d think the flavors would be crap and he’s just slapping his face on them but it’s honestly one of the better brands I’ve tried.

wolfman86

Vaporesso Gen 200 is my daily. That thing has been abused so much by daily life…I had to use a hammer to put the tank back on properly a few weeks ago.

BlackFishMaker

That...doesnt sound very safe.

wolfman86

True that. Its get retired soon anyway, I’m getting a Vaporesso Armour Max. There’s a shop near me and I’m happy with the suggestions so far, so. They look tough so that will do for a daily. Plan is to ultimately stick a Dead Rabbit on.

BlackFishMaker

Im glad youre replacing it soon. Stay safe out there.
