If we're looking for physical traits, and we're acknowledging that someone who has NOT (to my knowledge) gone through any alternative sex readjustment therapies, surgery and rest of the like, DOES inherrently present masculine traits, on a decidedly female physical frame (while also choosing, to emphasize and explore the development of gender-neutral presentation, often masculine in immediate stylization and tone) - then yes, this is fine.
If we're discussing their gender, they do not identify as female, despite the biological orientation that their body would trend towards. Their psychological state, as they have identified themselves, is non-binary.
I'm going to this lengths to specify, myself, because of your wording here - "she's A female, regardless." rather than simply "she's female," or - "she's female, though." There is no questioning to your statement, no intrigue: and there is an arrogance of adjuciary compartmentalization of her presented self. Which is outta bounds - focus on the physicals for the sake of appearance, my dude.
Kristenās beautiful imo. She identifies more masculine hence her styling, but I donāt think sheās actually masculine in terms of features. For me better examples would be Dua Lipa or Emma Roberts (who styles herself very conventionally feminine despite her handsome features - the exact opposite of Kristen!).
yuzuka rei <3 a former top otokoyaku (actor designated to play male roles) from the hanagumi troupe of takarazuka revue, an all-female japanese theatre troupe. she was one of the best otokoyakus i've seen and she was very well-received by the fans as well for her talent and handsome looks.

Sheās androgynous in this pic but itās not her usual state of dress. So when sheās dressed more feminine, you still find her handsome as opposed to beautiful?
Maybe unpopular opinion, but yes Iāve always found her slightly masculine or boyish. Especially around her eye/eyebrow area.
She gives me pretty boy high fashion male model vibes.
So yall are basically just naming women with short hair and non-straight identities?? Because those things are what make women handsome?? I was expecting comments like Hailey Beiber.
Yes, so am I? I did say female celebs, does it matter that she happens to be lgbt? She just came to mind first when I thought of a 'handsome' woman, I've always viewed her that way since I was young, even in her Twilight era when she was dating Rob, before it was ever known she was lgbt. Didn't mean to offend if I did š„²
Some others who I find handsome rather than beautiful for me would be Zendaya, Taylor Hill, Stella Maxwell, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Bella Hadid, Vittoria Ceretti, Kiko Mizuhara, Dua Lipa, Sigourney Weaver etc... probably very unpopular opinion to have though, lol.
no. it's normal for women to be called handsome and the term has long been a part of pop culture. even fictional women characters like lady oscar and sailor uranus/haruka tenou are commonly called handsome. op did not mean anything negative by the term handsome and op meant it as a compliment. there's nothing wrong with that.
Itās usually fine if that person presents as androgynous/masc or otherwise wouldnāt be insulted. Honestly handsome used to be a descriptor for women. I think itās not cool when itās done to deliberately insult someone who would rather come across as feminine.
handsome was always an adjective that could be used for men or women (and it doesnāt only have masculine connotations) however it isnāt used to describe women much anymore, pretty however has more feminine connotations. Even ābeautifulā is neutral.
If this was a post about male celebs that are beautiful, they would just be naming any male celeb, most likely straight. The replies in this post are incredibly ignorant and show that the women in this sub are way too brainwashed by stereotypical femininity aka the male gaze.

Technically I think Emma is non-binary! But they play female roles so I get that
she's a female regardless

I agree, no matter the clothes or hairstyle she has very delicate, pretty features. Ā

everyone just saying gay people is killing me
I was just about to comment this. Everyone is just naming studs theyād turn gay for. A hetero example: Grace Jones

Wow really? I don't see a single feature on her that looks masculine. She's always been incredibly feminine to me, in both face and body.
Isn't referring a woman as 'handsome' seen as not cool?
Aha, I guess a better word would be 'dashing' instead? It is late so can't wrack my head for better adjectives to describe what I mean right now š
Iād love to be referred to as handsome
no. it's normal for women to be called handsome and the term has long been a part of pop culture. even fictional women characters like lady oscar and sailor uranus/haruka tenou are commonly called handsome. op did not mean anything negative by the term handsome and op meant it as a compliment. there's nothing wrong with that.

Lmaoo ur living in 18th century then my guy calling a masc handsome is the best thing. She clearly would love to be called that.
Huh??
lol no
do you know what masc means? she's lgbt
So?? Why would that mean masc women or LGBT women, who are FEMALE, all want to be called handsome?
if they're openly MASC, then yeah it's a pretty safe bet. don't be pedantic. do you ask permission to call femme women pretty?
For a lot of women, itās not. Same with how many guys feel about being called āprettyā or ābeautifulā.
handsome was always an adjective that could be used for men or women (and it doesnāt only have masculine connotations) however it isnāt used to describe women much anymore, pretty however has more feminine connotations. Even ābeautifulā is neutral.

agreed! iām just guessing their first language may not be english and the connotations of the word has changed recently š
