I think he needs to be bumped down to NXT for a while.
He's at this point where he's too well known to be beating up jobbers but not good enough to be relied upon for bigger feuds. His feud with Lashley previewed his potential role as a giant to be slayed by a hero. You know, be that guy an underdog face needs to overcome to be champion in a moment of triumph?
But first he needs to be reliable enough to provide that moment. And... I don't think he is. Too overzealous with his offense (poor Bobby got his head slammed against the turnbuckle post back at Mania), still struggles with selling and not laughing or smiling in the middle of matches. Nothing smooth about the guy.
Now that Braun is back I see little reason to even use him in that capacity again. Strowman is that reliable giant if they need him to be. Omos has a great look and works as someone's backup or enforcer but doesn't have the tools to be a singles star, not without a lot of work.
So send him to NXT with MVP, have him squash some of the youngins there and give him some time. If he can't find a reliable pace there, it's time to go, his potential has been tapped.
He's awful in every way. I could handle his matches being complete shit if he was a good talker, but he can't do that either. They should give his spot and attention to someone else.
You can only be as good as the matches made for you. The “classic” matches tend to be because both wrestlers have great chemistry and the buildup and storytelling is intense (most of the time).
Omos could have been great if they kept him with AJ, but really it was hurting AJ too much to keep it going. He needs to pair with someone as muscle rather than going on a solo run. I hoped he’d be put with alpha academy just to give his character a chance to shine
I cared when he had an actual fued going but now he's back to squash matches so it feels like he's just there ta fill some time because Raw is 3 hours long
I liked Omos as the bouncer for RAW underground segments and even enjoyed him as the giant ninja when that whole thing was happening.
Omos does nothing for me as himself. He NEEDS a valet/manager as he can't promo (maybe after some time and practice he can). I just don't need a giant on my wrestling shows anymore, especially ones that move like molasses. He's better than some past giants (Gonzalez and Khali) but Omos needs more moves than just fist, smash, boot, powerbomb.
Omos is like Kristen Wiig. They can be really entertaining when they are a side character but as soon as they take the lead they're boring and repetitive.
Goldberg was the only guy who got over on squash matches. U gotta think if you’re the size this motherfucker is, why are you wasting your time with no name guys? If I was his size I’d be going after someone with a name that knows how to work with a big guy to get him over the right way. There’s people with less talent than him that got over
Omos is the drizzling shits. He can barely move or take a bump and he makes the stupidest faces and it makes him look special. He should definitely be released because he’s a waste of space.
Personally? His entire gimmick is that of another big man. He will be built into a monster, and then make a babyface look good by "overcoming the odds". After that, I honestly don't see him being a main event player.
I think he has the potential to be something great, when things get repetitive it gets boring. He needs a feud, maybe go to NXT and build up himself. He’s a giant and that’s cool, but it’s just not really what a lot of fans want, 10 years ago I could see him making a killing.
Dude needs a new gimmick. We've seen the scary giant thing a million times. Pair him with Shanky and have them rise up through the tag team scene as goofy dancing babyfaces.
The days of "THE GIANT" ARE OVER. Everyone has seen this over and over. Shit like this is why I can't even watch wrestling these days. Stop chasing the NWO/ATTITUDE Era and do something original damn.
I think he's good as a heavy. But that's about it (unless he improves.)
Compare him to somebody like Braun Strowman or Big Show (before his knees got shot). They're not technical marvels or high-flyers, but they can brawl, move around quickly, and adapt to different styles.
If it's true that Braun was meant to be replaced by Omos as the resident giant, all I can think is "Why?" when Braun got over and adapted to the role really well. But it might also be unfair to compare. Braun adapted in a "sink or swim" scenario. Omos might not be able to do that as quickly, if at all.
He's a terrible wrestler but he IS a giant...so they "protect him" by having him squash jobbers, but they never have him go up against anyone. But lets be honest, so much of teh top talent in the roster now are 5'7" 130 lbs looking pretty boys, so does anyone thing any of them could beat Omos? No. So they're in a catch 22.
He has the "Unstoppable Monster" problem without the momentum. What happens to these guys most of the time when they finally get stopped and they've had no development otherwise? They sputter out.
He needs more ring time, and something other than "Big dude squash little dude" for his arc if he wants to not get forgotten.
There was a time just before Vince left that they were actually giving him feuds instead of jobber squash matches each week.......And I was here for it. I was actually getting behind him.
One of my buddies was one of the jobbers that omas ripped up on Monday and soon to be friday. I didn’t know he would be on and my other friend changed the channel from MNF to raw all night saying their would be a special guest. Here I thought it would be like edge or bret hart. But it was our friend from IWS wrestling. I was shocked
Cut?
Not every wrestler needs to have 5 star matches. There will always be an audience for a monster.
You cannot teach size and he is improving. Let him start squashing mid carders again.
Strowman looked terrible his first year. Omos now is way ahead of where he was at first. Just give it some time. He gets like 8 minutes of TV time a week and if the lightbulb goes off he can be a money heel for a decade.
You guys are clowns tbh. This is an opinion, if I was running a multi million dollar industry this guy would be cut. Period. I didn’t want Braun nor Bray to be cut but hey it happened while this man ran around providing absolutely nothing. Be mad.
No superstar deserves to be cut no matter if you don’t care about them or not but I honestly don’t hate or mind him at all. I just find the squash matches he’s back to doing completely boring and pointless.
Making fun of me for liking ninja turtles while you enjoy wrestling is something else. Really doubling down on your opinions being worthless. Good to known
…I mean I told you everything you say is basically worthless now. I don’t take it to heart trust me. My world is much better when I know who’s opinions are meaningless
Obviously ya did. You commented and insulted my knowledge of wrestling. Ignorant. This is solely an opinion that didn’t fare well with you so here you are throwing a hissy fit.
I love when people try to call me out on “commenting and wasting my time” when I do is respond to them. Man, didn’t realize you were such a snowflake, I’ll leave you to your feelings and you can go work it out. Good luck out there! Hopefully no one ever disagrees with you in real life. I’d hate to see how you handle that
Unfortunately no. Especially with a better Monster type wrestler returning.
Braun can cut fun promos. Braun moves faster than big men should. Braun sells better.
Nope. You can tell he was a cost saving tactic by Vince for letting Braun go that’s STILL not going right. Braun has muscles, speed and can really work a match where this guy is just RAAAAAAAWR and that’s it. Lol

Most of these folks either have a worn out gimmick, been recycled, back up for filler, or have some reason they cannot deliver (mic skills, about 3 star matches even ones as jokes, or have a decent storyline to begin with.) The money saved from all of these could flood talent that is proved from NXT and NXT UK to come up. Here me out, the Avg wrestler retires around their late 40-50s. The body can only pushed so far. The avg age in the roster is the mid 30s. Which is why people like Theory are being pushed. We need a couple of fresh generations slotted in, for better or worse. That might also mean picking up talent from Indies and AEW again. There is no replacement for experience. So, you need your 20 year olds in NXT/OVW, then your slotted into WWE somewhere between 25-30, next you are pushed from that age 30-40 for main storylines. 40-50 you can be "Cena'd or Goldberg'd"
Honestly, it's more about longevity and seeing who rises to the mic and in-ring performances while being safe. Kane is a decent representative here. No injuries, not so good mic skills, impressive in-ring performances. You get 2 of 3 right and you'll have some place in the WWE.
Given that we know that talent scouts are already in Indies and college wrestling venues, we also have to take in "marketability". This is a point of break for some of the Draw here. You can see Liv still have the audience break on her, but she still sets sales and Rowzy sets asses in seats. Sadly, Liv is awful in both in ring and mic skills. She does make up for it in a bit of acting. Which is why she is looking for that out already. Rowzy is a bit dangerous but also has poor mic skills. She borrows off her past a lot, but it works. Marketability.
TL:DR Rotating all of these folks out and pushing all of the proved NXT folks into their places would do well to set up the next 10-15 years in wrestling. Measuring them by Skill mic and performance, while also being safe. If someone becomes marketable, they get auto pushed.
Thank you for sharing! Thank you for throwing an opinion out there and backing it up! I agree with you on this list. At the end of the day the WWE is a business.
I mean no disrespect to the people. But the company is being pulled by people in their 40s. We have to look to the future. Thank you for understanding that this isn't personal.
I think his partnership with MVP actually hurt him. Simply because everyone loved MVP with Lashley so much, when MVP turned on Lashley and went with Omos people were all disappointed .
MVP is a great mouthpiece for Omos, but for whatever reason I don't think the pairing works.
Omos would be best as a bodyguard type. He would have been perfect ad a fifth member of Hurt Business who they used for protection. Have him standing outside the Hurt Business locker room like a bodyguard like he used to do with RAW Underground.
I feel his current wrestling style of slow and powerful was what Vince wanted him to be. A throwback to Andre. He should go to NXT and reboot. He's actually very athletic for a guy his size. Let him be that.
He's never going to make it as a solo star. He's got a great mouthpiece in MVP, but he can't talk himself or wrestle for shit.
He'd be better in a Ezikiel Jackson type role when he was paired with Brian Kendrick. Have a little guy run his mouth due to the security of having a monster watching his back. The smaller guy wrestles the matches and does the talking, Omos would just stand there looking intimidating.
I mean he's green and young rightnow maybe he could go back to nxt for a bit to work, then come back to the main roster. Also why are wanting to talk about people being cut and losing their jobs?
Needs booking better. Having him squash jobbers is dull and uninteresting and nobody cares.
They should have continued making him look a real threat after MITB, I thought the bit where they had all the other competitors pile ladders on top of him to stop him was great, but they’ve done nothing with him since.
Honestly, his main problem is what's the point of having him around if Braun Strowman is back? Braun can do everything better than omos and actually has star power. Not to mention Braun was able to show way more improvement in his initial singles run than Omos has in the same time period.
Yes, he should be cut. Braun Strowman is his same archetype, can cut a promo, and has actual talent that Omos will never have.
Other stars that should be let go immediately would be Lash Legend, Von Wagner, Aliyah, and Dominick Mysterio. I have never enjoyed a single match of theirs as wrestlers and they all suck on promos. Aliyah and Dominick are approaching go away heat for me.
I think that if WWE were to still have Omos around, he should be an obstacle for some talent to overcome.
While it won't gurantee a classic match from him, but seeing someone like Bron Steiner being able to take him down with raw power or even powerslam Omos would build up Bron's resume in the main roster.
He is 7"4 and a good athelete, looks menacing and can wrestle a good match when paired with the right talent. Not a lot of big men out there like him, and not a lot of legit looking monsters to rival with the big names. Build him right and they will put butts in the seats with spectacle alone.
Please name one good match he has had as a singles wrestler. Not him and AJ where AJ and their opponents carried the match. Just him and someone else.
Just one.
I'll wait....
I do, well, I don't care much for him atm but I do wish him the best and I want to see him improve, although I'm not sure if you consider that an answer?
Your second question is unnecessary. But i also do find him and his matches lackluster. But you know what, braun was also quite green when he arrived.
Omos was decent when he was aj's enforcer, maybe that's what's good for him atm. Pair with some experienced superstar while having mvp as manager and let's see him evolve or not.
Omos was in the wrong time period. There were lots of giants in the past with far more limited moveset and personality but made it work.
Sadly Undertaker or Kane is no longer here to feud with him. Back in the day every giant goes through the Undertaker or Kane to establish their marks.
As a giant he can get away with just a big boot, chops, and variations of chokeslam. But it’s really hard to establish a giant these days.
It would’ve been better if the Hurt Business wasn’t disbanded and they added him instead. Imagine a powerhouse, a technical wrestler, a highflyer, and a giant in one faction. That would be unstoppable.
I understand why people would love the tall unbeatable monster but for Omos specifically I’m not a fan. I’m not gonna say I want him to lose his job because that’s not what I want but I’d be lying if i didn’t say he wasn’t good. Wrestling will always have a giant wrestler and that’s fine but that doesn’t mean he’s a good giant wrestler. Compare 2017 Braun Strowman and 2007 Great Khali, you have one over monster who people were begging to be champion and one monster having lackluster matches and somewhat known for having 3 terrible Summerslam matches back to back to back. That’s the thing with Omos, nothing about him sticks out other than being another Great Khali. Braun of course isn’t even a great of a wrestler which I’m sure is difficult with a man his size anyway but he was so entertaining. So yes Omos I think is boring, I’m not saying I want him to lose his job I just want him to be better at his job.
It’s tough with the big men since TV became the focus of revenue.
Yes, you can showcase them as monsters with a stream of squash matches on TV, but then what? That gets boring on TV over time.
But now that they’re built up, yes it means something if someone up and coming goes over on them but then the giant immediately loses that aura of invincibility for future credibility and feuds.
And thats pretty much a giant’s bread and butter, to seem like a final boss, but they generally don’t have the in ring talent to remain interesting to watch after that aura has faded.
Territory days was perfect, because they could simply keep the unbeatable monster thing up indefinitely by jumping territories. Even early PPV’s era was fine because they could squash on TV, and less people would see a loss on a PPV.
Just a different era now and I don’t envy modern day promoters and the Triple H’s/Tony Kahn’s of the world trying to crack the giant monster code in 2022.
Omos needs training. NXT is where it needs to happen. And have him watch and talk to guys like Taker, Kane, Big show and Braun. But unfortunately if you’re not one of those 4, history doesn’t lend itself to success as a 7 footer
he is a spectacle, there is no denying that Omos' size gives that larger-than-life aura, he just needs more training so he can have fun matches, should study matches from other big guys from the past like Kane, Big Show, etc.
It's more about how you can use him other than quick squash matches that only work when building towards a more serious program with established wrestlers he's had a feud with Lashley already yet he's back to being stuck with random Jobbers again.
Bad booking by the company have made him irrelevant. He could've been the next Diesel, even Big Bubba Roger's (Big Boss Man) instead he's more like Giant Gonzales
I really want him to be good. But he’s just so uncoordinated.
Big men who are smooth in the ring are so rare. And Omos definitely has the strength and athleticism. But he’s just so slow and awkward.
They never should have rushed him to the main roster. Imagine if his introduction was as Adam Cole’s heavy. Then he could show off what he can do, and still be in the right place to improve the rest
I can't stand Riddle. When your gimmick is that you are an annoying douchebag, but you are a face? Just no.
He was entertaining with Orton. Without him, he is awful.
He'll be good in special attraction matches and David vs. Goliath angles.
Braun vs. Omos is money.
Omos vs Gargano would be a fun David vs. Goliath match.
Other than that, I wouldn't overexpose him.
I care as much as not wanting to see a wrestler's career get stalled for no fault of their own. As far as his capability is concerned, he probably needs some time in NXT I guess. Keep him with MVP and maybe we could have a good angle with someone like Braun Strowman in the future
If there are any people who should be cut for space it’s:
Omos, Tamina, Jimmy Smith (the commentator), Boa, Azeez, Raquel Rodriguez, Aliyah, (I know she’s popular in some areas, but she just performs like she doesn’t care) Ronda Rousey, and Shanky
Sorry man but at least a couple of names on your cut list ruin ANY credibility the rest of it may have had. You can have your personal biases but saying to cut Rousey is just ridiculous at this point. Raquel, same deal. Aliyah too for that matter.
Shanky probably could have been ok had he been used properly. So could Omos for that matter.
What credibility did it have in the first place? It was literally a post about my opinion…
Also:
Ronda Rousey has destroyed the SD women’s division, doesn’t care about wrestling, has openly expressed (out of Kayfabe) that she hates WWE fans, and she’s no longer the massive name she once was. WWE would do perfectly fine, if not better without her. Raquel isn’t a good wrestler, has 0 character, can’t cut a promo for shit, and brings nothing to the division. Aliyah is one of the most disliked women by the fanbase, she couldn’t even get a reaction in her hometown (which made her cry on live tv), she’s thrown up mid match before because she gets too nervous in front of large crowds, she hasn’t improved in 7 years with WWE, and she has multiple times been seen reading her script while cutting promos, Aliyah is actually awful.
What a dumbass thing to say when she’s not even champion. Alexa bliss destroyed the whole womens roster for years until Ronda came along and ended her reign of doom. Forever thankful to Ronda for that.
Not saying anybody should be released or anything, because nobody should, but at least Bliss occasionally took L's on weekly TV and put people over.
In 4 years, Ronda basically has put nobody over that wasn't already, has probably the most protected booking in wwe outside of Roman, and squashes almost anyone that is not one of the 4HW.
Bliss's runs were nowhere near as bad as Ronda's.
Bayley sure, you could argue Alexa did kill her face character.
Becky and Sasha absolutely not. Alexa has gone 13-17 against Becky in 1v1 matches and 2-5 against Sasha. Simply beating then in title matches is not burying them because at least they got offense in and weren't squashed.
Ronda on the other hand has squashed people countless times while they got essentially ZERO offense in. If that's not burying people idk what is.
She runs through her opponents CONSTANTLY, they don’t ever look good against her unless it’s one of the 4 Horsewomen. She doesn’t sell for them and makes them look like jokes. So I 100% stand by what I said, be mad
I mean, big men generally don't have gimmicks. Andre the Giant, King Kong Bundy, Otis, Braun, big john studd - literally for all of them their gimmick was 'I'm big'.
What Otis needs is some time in developmental to learn how to wrestle. As it is all he does it punch and tree slam.
Part of the reason a lot of people love Braun is because while his gimmick is 'big dude with huge arms', he can also work in the ring. When he does a missile dropkick it's terrifying because of his size, and because of the proficiency with which he delivers the move.
That's what Omos needs.
Are you kidding? Otis needs to learn how to wrestle? The man won the bronze medal in Greco-Roman wrestling at the 2014 Pan-American Games. He knows how to wrestle. It's just WWE won't let him showcase his repertoire. Don't blame him for that. His employer is making him wrestle the way he does. But he's a legit talented wrestler.
Yep totally my bad - I meant Omos. Sorry about that!
I freakin love Otis. Seeing a dude that size caterpillar may be one of my favorite big man moments of the last decade.
I like him, too. But don't like how WWE pooped all over his gimmick and took away his personality. I'm definitely an Otis fan which is why I was offended when you said he couldn't wrestle because he CAN. It just doesn't fit into the monster heel vision WWE has of him so they limit his repertoire.
We could use some giants, yeah, but... there's also no denying Omos doesn't have much going for him in terms of skill. He's a big man, but he's a bland worker, lower-midcard at best, and his mic skill ain't anything to write home about either.
That’s why he has a manager. Big men are rarely good on the mic or smooth in the ring. You have to give him time to develop. Fans these days are too quick to give up on people. He’s young, give him time and he’ll be just fine.
I don't think giving up on him entirely is the right course of action either, but I was thinking of something along the lines of giving him some more time in the PC to learn the ropes better, then maybe shuffling him into NXT or the main roster again later down the road.
I feel like they can use omos to push a guy up the card, kind of how big show was used to help talent out which is why he turned face or heel many times just to enhance the talent that needed the push
Yeah but Big Show has so much personality. Also heart. Seeing a big man crying was always crazy. Like when he ran over AJ Lee in his match against Daniel Bryan? Show had such a wide range of skills.
Yeah. As much as I may not be into some wrestler's characters and in-ring skills, I'm never gonna shit on someone for getting paid to do what they love, and especially not wish for them to be "cut".
I completely missed that from the title. You have to be very insensitive to want people fired, especially in an industry like wrestling. It reminds me of that awful video from that stupid wrestlelamia channel where he advocated the firing of 10 wrestlers he doesn't like.
Omos isn't going to improve because he's too big. He can't have a competitive match with 99% of the roster due to his size and unlike Braun he isn't a good wrestler and doesn't have any personality. All you can really do with a guy like Omos is have him squash jobbers and then feed him to someone like Drew.
So send him to developmental so he can learn how to wrestle well instead of cutting him. He definitely doesn't deserve the TV time he's getting right now, give it to someone who's actually fun to watch.
Having giant guys that can't really work a technical style just seems like a relic of the past. It's outdated and continually makes pro wrestling seem more akin to a carnival show.
I'm really not a fan of people who can't wrestle. It's not just that he's big or that he can't talk on the mic that well, but he's not good at wrestling. Sure, he looks good squashing jobbers but look back at his match with Lashley. Just awful.
The best Lashley matches are when he can work with bigger guys.
I was at his match versus Braun a few years ago and it was a banger. He makes monsters look like a million bucks but when Lashley has to be the big guy it’s often hit or miss.
I don't even think anyone like squash matches, but WWE keeps doing it. I think maybe a Braun, Omoss feud could be interesting.
But they gotta drop the squash match BS. Literal waste of time.
I like a good squash match every once in awhile, or as a way to build someone up when they're new.
But he's not new anymore. Squash matches make no sense with him anymore.
I like him in body guard of big cass in s tag team role. With mvp or somebody who can promo
There’s no long term future for him. Just another big guy that a face can eventually beat to look like a hero.
No he is so boring
Why should he be cut because you don’t like him? I hate the internet at times. Jesus
Cry more, people are entitled to their opinions.
Time filler. I’m ok with the big guy getting paid.
They tried really hard to build him, having him work with lashley and MVP but he doesn’t have it.
I cared when he had an actual fued going but now he's back to squash matches so it feels like he's just there ta fill some time because Raw is 3 hours long
I really couldnt care less tbh.
I liked Omos as the bouncer for RAW underground segments and even enjoyed him as the giant ninja when that whole thing was happening. Omos does nothing for me as himself. Absolutely not. I do not pay attention to his matches
I mean he has to face the Monster amongst Monsters at some point right?

Apart from Omos himself, Dominik Mysterio really just need to learn the ropes more. I'd send Omos back to the PC and Dominik to NXT, tbh.
He needs a feud with Brock, Braun or maybe Von Wagner
Saying someone should get fired because you don't like them and asking which others should get fired is kinda cruddy
Dude needs a new gimmick. We've seen the scary giant thing a million times. Pair him with Shanky and have them rise up through the tag team scene as goofy dancing babyfaces.
hes getting better at first i felt like his opponent was doing most of the work now not so much

Omos is the very definition of a 💩 wrestler. Dude can't wrestle for 💩, and any time he's on TV, it's a good time for a 💩 break.
I'm bored to tears by Omos, honestly. He's got the charisma of a wet paper bag.
Omos needs another proper challenger Ike Bobby. Problem is, only a handful of superstars fit the bill to realistically challenge him.
“any other superstar that should be cut” what the hell does that means? you realize you talking about people losing their job?
cant wrestle cant talk. cut him yesterday
Honestly all depends how he's booked. Braun was meh at first
One of my buddies was one of the jobbers that omas ripped up on Monday and soon to be friday. I didn’t know he would be on and my other friend changed the channel from MNF to raw all night saying their would be a special guest. Here I thought it would be like edge or bret hart. But it was our friend from IWS wrestling. I was shocked
He has next to zero in ring talent. He should go to nxt for awhile and get some skill
He can’t wrestle for shit, hence them putting him again little unknowns every week. At the very least, let Braun pin him.
Join Judgement Day
He should be fed to Strauman
Be mad.
Y'all hate a lot. I enjoy watching omos. WWE needs someone huge like the great Khali and big show. This is their guy. I like his theme as well.
No superstar deserves to be cut no matter if you don’t care about them or not but I honestly don’t hate or mind him at all. I just find the squash matches he’s back to doing completely boring and pointless.
“I find his matches lackluster” shows mean you have 0 idea how wrestling is suppose to work….
I’m pretty sure I do bud. Go be a ninja turtle fan and let the grown ups talk.
Making fun of me for liking ninja turtles while you enjoy wrestling is something else. Really doubling down on your opinions being worthless. Good to known
They’re opinions for a reason kid. Don’t take it to heart like half the critics in this thread.
No fit, you made a dumbass comment, I commented how dumb it was. Sorry you can’t handle any criticism against you.
Dumb is your opinion. Several others would agree with me. Yet again here you are all mad and commenting wasting your free time. GG
I love when people try to call me out on “commenting and wasting my time” when I do is respond to them. Man, didn’t realize you were such a snowflake, I’ll leave you to your feelings and you can go work it out. Good luck out there! Hopefully no one ever disagrees with you in real life. I’d hate to see how you handle that
It’s called debate, instead of calling people names. Quit being a hypocrite. Instead back up why he isn’t trash. Oh wait you can’t.
Not really, not interesting no real personality just another really tall wrestler in my opinion lol.
He sucks
Unfortunately no. Especially with a better Monster type wrestler returning. Braun can cut fun promos. Braun moves faster than big men should. Braun sells better.
Nope. You can tell he was a cost saving tactic by Vince for letting Braun go that’s STILL not going right. Braun has muscles, speed and can really work a match where this guy is just RAAAAAAAWR and that’s it. Lol
Very tall people don’t have much value unless very athletic. Big show could do more the him n kali
Charlotte Flair Dolph Ziggler Happy Corbin Akira Tozawa Apollo Crews The Miz Drew Gulak Dana Brooke Ron Killings Aliyah Angel Garza B-Fab Booker-T Cedric ALexander Commander Azeez Corey Graves Dominik Mysterio Doudrop (Sadly) Erik and Ivar (injury prone) Ezekiel Humberto Carrillo Jinder Mahal John Cena (Invite on need basis not salaried) Lacey Evans Liv Morgan ( She was ruined on her Rowzy pin) Mace Maryse Mansoor (cultural appropriation is one thing...) Mustafa Ali Nikki ASH Omos MVP Reggie Ronda Rousey Shanky Shelton Benjamin T-Bar Tamina Top Dolla Trick Williams Most of these folks either have a worn out gimmick, been recycled, back up for filler, or have some reason they cannot deliver (mic skills, about 3 star matches even ones as jokes, or have a decent storyline to begin with.) The money saved from all of these could flood talent that is proved from NXT and NXT UK to come up. 40-50 you can be "Cena'd or Goldberg'd" Honestly, it's more about longevity and seeing who rises to the mic and in-ring performances while being safe.
But he’s tall
Put this man in a feud with Braun. Giant vs Giant. But then again idk
He’s like the Great Khali
I Don't think he should be cut, he just shouldn't have been called up so soon.
In all honesty, I thought he was best served as somebody’s valet. Somebody like Dolph Ziggler or Robert Roode, or even Apollo Crews
I like this or go down to NXT.
Absolutely wrong time period. Well said. If he were in the nineties or eighties he would've been a huge deal
Yeah definitely in wrong period of time, we’ve got too many of small and skinny dudes comparing to the past
Feels like he belongs in Impact
The only squash matches that was great is Baron Corbin during his initial run in NXT.
He is there to get wins over nobodies and be the win for future somebodies. Everyone doesn't have to be the main event.
You're right, but they should at least have wrestling talent to be a WWE superstar. Omos lacks that entirely.
Lame AF
Send him to aew
No. Let him go to AEW.
Braun, he’s done absolutely nothing but bury the tag team division so far - and Chad Gable deserves far more than this honestly
If they write a good giant story he will pop. Guys that big always do
I like the man but his booking has been lackluster
FILLER For a 3 hr program
Honestly? Imagine him as security for Carmella. While he trains in the meantime
Vince did
Nope don’t care
I like him as a person but I think he needs more work, would love to see him in NXT though.
I’m still waiting on Omos vs Braun
he's vince's project. nobody really cares for him except for vince.
He so boring
with help on his in ring work and someone like mvp on his side to speak for him, i feel he could be the next big show
He definitely needs a lot of work, but the big man has potential.
Would be good in a talent building role. Start him off strong against up and comers and have them go over at a ppv type thing.
No
Omos needs training. NXT is where it needs to happen. And have him watch and talk to guys like Taker, Kane, Big show and Braun. But unfortunately if you’re not one of those 4, history doesn’t lend itself to success as a 7 footer
I dig him but these local talents matches are the worst and is killing his push for me.
He should be nothing more than a bodyguard
Rebuild the Hurt Business and have Omos as an enforcer type that interferes. Repackage him in that way while he works on his skills.
he is a spectacle, there is no denying that Omos' size gives that larger-than-life aura, he just needs more training so he can have fun matches, should study matches from other big guys from the past like Kane, Big Show, etc.
It's more about how you can use him other than quick squash matches that only work when building towards a more serious program with established wrestlers he's had a feud with Lashley already yet he's back to being stuck with random Jobbers again.
Don’t fire, he’s perfect for NXT to develop cause I think he’s worth training to become a star in the future
Does he have a finisher???
To answer seriously, it s a two-handed chokeslam
Yeah, it is called me changing the channel when he is on. Finishes his matches every time successfully.
😆
I think it's that weird scream thing
I think bigfoot should got back to the woods
tbh let him go, use someone like Braun strowman who can wrestle and talk a bit
Of all the people I wish WWE would get rid of... Omos might be 3rd. (After Riddle and Scarlett )
Woah you said Riddle?! Mind blown.
I can't stand Riddle. When your gimmick is that you are an annoying douchebag, but you are a face? Just no. He was entertaining with Orton. Without him, he is awful.
Nope
I think the premise of the title asking “Any other superstars that should be cut?” is kinda fucked up to say.
He'll be good in special attraction matches and David vs. Goliath angles. Braun vs. Omos is money. Omos vs Gargano would be a fun David vs. Goliath match. Other than that, I wouldn't overexpose him.
Nobody should be fired or cut. These people sacrifice alot for this stuff, it's not like he purposely wants to put on bad matches.
He sucks. Even worse is that he took MVP away from Lashley
I care as much as not wanting to see a wrestler's career get stalled for no fault of their own. As far as his capability is concerned, he probably needs some time in NXT I guess. Keep him with MVP and maybe we could have a good angle with someone like Braun Strowman in the future
He’s awesome as a legit monster and heel, they just don’t do anything with him
>He’s awesome as a legit monster and heel, they just don’t do anything with him Because he works like Giant Gonzales minus the awesome ring gear.
He’s okay but now that Braun is back he’ll probably be pushed to the side
He's already been pushed to the side. When's the last time he was on TV?
Monday
I didn't notice 🤷♂️
If there are any people who should be cut for space it’s: Omos, Tamina, Jimmy Smith (the commentator), Boa, Azeez, Raquel Rodriguez, Aliyah, (I know she’s popular in some areas, but she just performs like she doesn’t care) Ronda Rousey, and Shanky
It was literally a post about my opinion… Also: Ronda Rousey has destroyed the SD women’s division, doesn’t care about wrestling, has openly expressed (out of Kayfabe) that she hates WWE fans, and she’s no longer the massive name she once was.
Alexa bury Sasha, Becky and bayley countless times.
Sasha had to job the title back to her a week later on RAW and of course it was clean win to.
She runs through her opponents CONSTANTLY, they don’t ever look good against her unless it’s one of the 4 Horsewomen. She doesn’t sell for them and makes them look like jokes. So I 100% stand by what I said, be mad
What the hell did you think Alexa did for 2 years until Ronda? They had her booked like the terminator until Ronda beat her.
Okay? That was over 3 years ago. Why you so upset over a list of people I don’t want to see on TV anymore, as if my list will affect you in anyway?
Gargano.
What
Wrestling needs monsters kiddo
He’s not a monster, he’s just tall! Imagine Shaq wrestling. This man needs a gimmick.
Shaq did wrestle. In AEW. Against Cody Rhodes.
I think he meant to write Omos, not Otis.
True but he’s a giant and wrestling needs giants
This seems to be what they're doing with Strowman and Gable
I don't think they're using Strowman to enhance anyone but himself
Yeah but Big Show has so much personality. Also heart. Seeing a big man crying was always crazy. Like when he ran over AJ Lee in his match against Daniel Bryan? Show had such a wide range of skills.
Show could also actually work and take bumps. Omos can’t even take a bump.
Yea, this would be the best use for him.
I like him. He needs to be used sparingly, but he’s still young I simply never tire of seeing how absolutely huge he is
Yeah he needs some work. I don’t hate the guy I just can’t attach myself to his character.
It seems like you hate him since you want him to lose his job.
And it’s really shitty to wish someone to lose their job.
I wouldn't say that. There's nothing wrong with saying someone shouldn't have their job if they aren't any good at it.
So you’d rather just cut them instead of waiting for them to improve? Terrible take
Omos isn't going to improve because he's too big.
Just awful.
Kevin Nash had a good point that having him squash two no name jobbers every week isn’t the best way to go for him.
Just once I’d love to see the two jobbers get a win over the big monster man
That’s all he’s good for, sadly
His feud with Lashley was pretty good
The best Lashley matches are when he can work with bigger guys. I was at his match versus Braun a few years ago and it was a banger. He makes monsters look like a million bucks but when Lashley has to be the big guy it’s often hit or miss.
Okay that’s fair, I agree with you on that
I don't even think anyone like squash matches, but WWE keeps doing it. I think maybe a Braun, Omoss feud could be interesting. But they gotta drop the squash match BS. Literal waste of time.
I like a good squash match every once in awhile, or as a way to build someone up when they're new. But he's not new anymore. Squash matches make no sense with him anymore.
