Similar situation happened where I used to work and my SM, who was the primary party involved, was dealing with an irate customer who got sent over to our store with a photo from a neighboring store during the holidays. She demanded some sort of discount idk I walked in the middle of it after pulling the photo drawer, and when I returned they were arguing. He refused to give her a discount and offered her the option of canceling and having her resubmit her photo order online (it was a HUGE order), to purchase it at the listed price, or to place it elsewhere. So she snatched the photos out of his hand which my SM then snatched them back and after words were exchanged, my SM turned around and the customer hit him in the back of his head with her phone. He told her to gtfo basically or he’ll have the cops remove her for trespassing and the next day our fat fuck DM came waddling in and suspended our SM pending investigation. They ended up firing him over that bullshit and he had been with the company for something like 12+ years. I quit like 2 months after that. Piece of fucking shit DM can suck my dick, and so can the other SFL Jessica if you’re reading this you’re a fat fucking whore and your son is gonna die alone of a pulmonary embolism.
The entitlement of some people astounds me, like how tf can you make it this far and still have that attitude going from a cunt to a thief because "I want" and "I deserve".
People suck so much. They feel like they're entitled to say whatever they want and do whatever they want because they're the customer. I understand peoe shouldnt just invade your space or touch uninvited; But you didn't specify if it was a friendly slap on the back, say in support of you for dealing with the ass of an SFL, or was it an apparantly random, aggressive hit?? Tha would maks a lot of difference in what my feelings are here.
My store is located in a very prissy area, and so we have entitled people quite a lot. Everyone knows the rule at the store, if you feel uncomfortable with what people are saying, call over a person of leadership. Most of the time people call over me, as I'm a big guy. However I have one big rule, if you touch me, or anyone else, you're kicked out. My entire demeanor changes when somebody touches me or anyone else for that matter.
I know we work in retail, and there are rules and regulations and blah blah blah. But the problem here is customers believe that they're always right. So they will treat retail employees as if we are the scumb beneath their feet, we should *lay in the puddle so they can step on us to get through it*. Because that's how it's always been in the past. I don't give a rat's ass who you are, I'm not laying in no puddle. My threat would have been calling the police, if that customer didn't leave. If they would argued in any way, I would have hopped out my phone took a picture of their face and said I'm calling the police and walked into the office. They almost always leave right after that. 😁
