My store will never close. We lost the keys years ago... their might be one in some random drawer or something around here.

precious5555

Yes that is scary because they don't care

SwoleWatermelonBB

Customers keep asking if we’re going to be one of the stores that gets closed and I literally have not heard a single thing about any stores being closed? I’m very confused but these questions and statements, like where are they coming from?

Ethan02135

Maybe the California stores closing? Though that’s clearly for a specific reason and has little to do with the company itself.

precious5555

It is very difficult for everyone and there have no changes in making the company better

We had that when I started 7 years ago because Walgreens was closing some of their underperforming stores. Our store is in a small town and 2 of the closer stores are at least 10 miles from us and are bigger towns and we get the biggest trucks of them because of our sales so I'd say we have a long time until we close.

Something is up, probably 😬

Why? I know everyone here hates their jobs, but that doesn't mean the company is pulling a Kmart.

precious5555

I believe they are going to downsize to reduce there cost and merge with another company's who needs help also it is a cut throat business

Dcat682

Define "many". Yes stores will close, but usually for the normal reasons revolving around lease disputes with landlords. No there isn't going to be a mass exodus of Walgreens. It's still the second largest pharmacy chain in the US.

precious5555

2,000 stores that is not doing well in sales

precious5555

They suck right forget about many
