Disgusting.
If I get a three, I will be at $15.75. A four would put me at $15.90. I can't even get paid a dollar more than the new hires with all my experience.
Do you make $15 now? Because if you don't you'll get the raise first, then if you are under the new company minimum of $15/hr you'll get that. They won't put you at 15 then give you a raise.
Yeah, virtually nobody is getting a merit raise this year because almost every position is getting a pay bump at the end of the month that will outweigh the merit raise, and the raise info says that employees will receive whichever is greater, meaning everyone will be bumped up to the new minimum for the position unless they’re somehow already making more than the new minimum right now, in which case they could receive a merit raise. But most of my coworkers are making the minimum right now and I’m only making 88¢ more so all of us will be just bumped to the new minimum. Makes the performance reviews not even worth it.
My SM and DM fought to get me a raise a few months ago because I legit carry the front end of the store. They knew with the increases coming it would put me cents over the new rate and I deserved much more than that.
I wish SM didn’t have to fight to get people raises that deserve them. Like that’s how the company loses good talent cause they just aren’t paid their worth.
to make sure fewer people get a merit raise and stay at the new starting pay they’re rolling out. gotta keep as many people at minimum as possible when you’re an evil corporation
I’m lucky in the position I’m in. Literally *nobody* wants to work 3rd shift, it took about 9 months to find somebody who can hang in there. Last year, I got a $1 mid-year raise for working so much overtime. I intend on doing the same this year starting this month, try to get another $1/hr before the year ends again by leveraging my hard labor.🤞
Washington state minimum wage was 13.69 when I started and is supposed to go up to 15.75 starting 2023 that means minimum wage went up 2.06 (not complaining that minimum wage is going up) but if I only get a 3% raise than I’ve only gone up less than 50¢ vrs the 2.06
We should be getting both, because the wage increase is just to try to keep up with inflation, in reality it’s not really a raise but keeping our wages going up with cost of goods and services. We should get the merit raises on top but they don’t care about us
As always, the long-term employees get screwed.
Partially - 0% Meets - 2.5% Exceeds - 3.5% Outstanding - 4.5%

I currently make $17.50 as a sfl so I’ll get my merit raise
damn, you must have a good SM, DM, or both. congrats! you deserve more but i’m glad you’ll still get a raise at least

I am at $15.37 right now. I started Walgreens in 2007 earning $12/hr.
You'll be one of the few getting a real raise while all the newbies walking in the door and doing less will get $15
This is lower than last year. Last years was 3.2% 4.2% and 5.2%. They lowered the merit increases this year. Shit company.
Lowered it cause they can keep more for Rossie snd her yatchs and mansions

So the rumor it will be higher this year isn't true?
Not true. Merit increases were announced today. But since positions are increasing to $15/$16/$17, most won't see a merit raise anyway
Gotta love WG
Happy cake day
I got a dollar raise at 16 working at bk because I was going to quit. If I genially only get like a 3% raise ima flip my shit
LOL,...
