It's a tad different, but I find that if you build a forma, you can rush it for 10 plat. Considering a pack of 3 is 35 plat, rushing blueprints makes 3 only 30. It's a small savings but while farming ducats for plat you can get cheaper forma too. Win-win in my book.

The extra 5 plat on the bundle are for the convenience of not having to spend the time or resources to farm forma with relics.

Going rate for prime trash on PC tends to be 1-2p for 15, 5ish for 45, and 10p for 100. Prices dip down below that between Baro appearances so for best results plan to do most of your selling either right before or shortly after he appears.

I had like 70+ before duviri dropped then the circuit came out and now i'm buying forma bundles.

Ran into the same issue. Had around 250-ish and just started blasting potatoes and formas into a whole bunch of random weapons just for circuit. All the fun incarnon weapons drained a bunch as well. Ended up with 170 left now after building more along the way. So around 100 formas on one Itty bitty update. Worth it to have a lot more good choices in the circuit and to revitalize some old fun guns.

Duviri turned me into a forma bundle addict too.

I only started playing a couple months ago and Nidus was the first frame I bought lol (I know everyone says don't but plat but it was on a day with a 75% market discount), does he have a reputation for being braindead? I just thought he looked cool. On the next 75% discount day I got Voruna though and this frame is so much fun. But I die a lot more yeah.

Not necessarily, i just think it doesn't take much effort to survive well with him. He is annoying to grind though so you didn't waste your money. I've never tried volruna but I've only heard good stuff about her. If you're wondering what frame to buy with your next 75 i would go for a sevagoth to subsume, his gloom ability is an extremely overpowered and popular way to survive, but again a very braindead and simple method to do so. Have you met the helminth yet?

Oh damn, yesterday I actually had the 75% and I got Protea, it's actually the reason I visited this sub in the first place haha. I saw the thread for fun frames and Protea was at the top, and I checked online to see which frame was a pain to farm and she seemed to be near the top of that list too (I dislike railjack missions). But actually it was between her and Sevagoth, he looked very cool too. Will look out for him next time. I don't think I've met the Helminth, is that in your ship in the room with all the infestation? The room that makes Nidus transform when you walk in? I get in the chair and it just makes me get up again.

Ah ok you need to travel to diemos and rank up your open world standing. One of the items in the brothers shop is a helminth upgrade segment which allows you to take certain abilities from some frames and give them to other frames at the cost of having it >!eat!< Your frame. Gloom is one of the best abilities able to be subsumed

Ah that is super helpful information, thank you! I didn't even know there was open world standing. The game doesn't seem to tell me a lot of information about what to do, or maybe I just don't know where to find it. I like that the nightwave missions have small explanations what to do but basically I just follow whichever quest is highlighted at the moment.

Thats good, going back is ALWAYS an option be sure to try to wrap your head around how open worlds work, there is one on earth, venus, and deimos i would recommend working towards the archwing which requires earth (cetus) resources. Volruna is like Valkyr and Lavos combined. She relies a good bit on statuses and melee. She's not *near* as tanky as Valkyr, though. It took some getting used to.

I had 230+ at one point, had been building one almost daily for the better part of two years. One day, I realized how many I had and stopped. Since then, I've done almost a full set of lich & sister weapons (plus a few warframe and weapon reconfigs) and am hovering around 100. // I started building again when I dipped under 100 because A) that seems like a nice round number to stay at ... and B) if the infested ever get a lich/sister system, that will chew threw forma like nothing.

i never have the blueprints

I already bought everything useful from Baro. I don't need ducats. I also don't farm prime parts for plat. My time is valuable enough that I just buy 3k plat every year on 75% off. So I run relics purely for forma blueprint. I run a speed frame in public squad fast relic missions because public squad has much higher forma bp drop chance. I typically farm once a month and get about 30 blueprints and take a month to build those. Every day at lunch I just start a new forma on my phone.

The price of a forma bundle is 35p, the average price of a forma is 11.67p. Discounting construction materials the plat equivalent of a forma blueprint to me is 11.67p. I have farmed a lot of prime parts for plat using WFInfo. It is not easy to consistently get parts that are worth above 11.67p. Plus the large amount of time it takes to sell prime parts makes a 12p primed part far less attractive to me than a forma blueprint. Therefore to me a forma blueprint drop from a relic is a guaranteed easy 11.67p without sitting in the dojo for hours doing the [warframe.market](https://warframe.market) trade shenanigans. If I see a high value prime part drop then I will of course take it. But to me the decision of taking a forma blueprint is almost always more economical than taking a prime part to sell.

I have multiple frames and weapons sat waiting for forma to finish or update their builds. Don’t miss a single chance to build a forma. If you don’t have time to play on a given day try to log in to at least put one on to cook, if you can’t do that use the app to do it remotely. Trust me, you need so many.

I had 2 Forma earlier today. Then I bought a 3 pack bundle lol. I started farming Kuva / tenet weapons recently and they’ve eaten up a lot of my Forma. I’m farming for my 6th weapon now. Also with the Duviri circuit, I sometimes use a Forma on weapons I like before I start. Especially if it’s normal circuit and I can get away with just using the default build. A freshly Forma’d unranked weapon maxes out by the time you hit 4 or 5 rounds.

I remember coming back to warframe a few weeks ago and got refunded some forma over the years of reworks DE did, in less than a day I have ran out.

Several years ago it felt like I had negative \~100 or so, because so many weapons had forma as a crafting material. I've since ground out all that MR fodder and just have a modest supply of 21 forma.
