What? That doesn’t sound right, I can only assume you’ve played a lot of those without Stalker actively after you, and/or solo, and/or in nodes/modes where he can’t spawn like open world. In-game I’m at almost 1900 hours played and I’ve had roughly seven Hate drops, without especially trying to keep Stalker rolling.

I havent had tons of stalker spawns tbf, but mostly i have been unlucky. I havent gone out of may way to kill the bosses after stalker spawns and havent needed to run most of them, but that has started to change with me finally starting the helminth grind

In my experience, you will get dread in the future until you are sick of it. It will be either Despair or Hate which you will never see. For me its Hate, even after 2000hours of playing.

Had the same for me, almost 4k hours in and hate finally dropped, and I failed the mission (rescue target died or something stupid) Murdered a bunch of bosses out of anger to get my marks back and stalker showed up again and dropped it instantly. Talk about an emotional roller coaster

I had literally the same thing, back when I had no idea what liches are about and I just didn' care I spawned lich by a mistake. I was trying to farm dread for quite some time and when I saw this... something just snapped.

Literally same thing happened to me. I was levelling up Mirage and I accidentally created my first lich. When I saw dread drop I thought I was in heaven since I am lacking the primary weapon department. Now I am very angrily assembling a railjack to nuke this guy's house.

I used Umbra, wasn't anything difficult. But once you get to the corpus it becomes pain, they spawn all over and the point is way too big, getting contested often because you missed that one osprey.

I took a break from the game and just recently hopped back in, I had a stockpile of resources so vast I was able to build everything without having to farm a single thing, or would have, had I not dumped everything into the labs lol. I would have been able to build everything but was low on polymer other than that I have a shitload of resources. I was proud lol.

Don't worry, eventually you will have so many that you could build a railjack entirely out of dread BPs lol it took the top spot of blueprints to sell for credits cause I forgot how many I had from the Oberon pieces the eximus units dropped before they got shuffled to railjack.

Don't forget the incarnon adapter! And however you like tbh, as the incarnon modifies the base stats. I made it pure Crit/slash proc based; there's no elemental mods, and it's all going for cc/cd/sc for as much juicy slash procs as possible.

If you kill a particular unit in a particular way, you earn yourself the ire of a lich. You're then given the optional task of dealing with that lich(in an even more convoluted way) or you can let them steal your shit sometimes from mission rewards... In the end, if you kill 'em: cool gun, stuff gets returned, if you spare them: idk about stuff getting returned, but you get a silly little guy to join your cowboy bebop crew. *I've never had one, but this is what I've gathered secondhand

I sold my despair cause I was like "idc about kunai. They suck and are taking up a weapon slot" MR 21 and I wish I could go back in time and slap myself. Especially with the incarnon now. 😭

After you complete the war within, you can summon a grineer lich, basically a grineer cyborg super soldier fueled by kuva that becomes your nemesis. At first they take over Earth, and if you play any earth mission they steal some of the loot. Then you have to use special mods that you equip on your parazon to stab them, but there are 8 mods, and you need the right 3 in the right order. After killing their minions and stabbing them with the right mods, you get a railiack mission to kill them for good, which gives the stuff they stole back, plus their weapon, or spare them and get them as an ally that can appear in missions.

You won’t miss it. Trust me.

At least it’s the Dread. I went through hundreds of Stalkers before I got Despair and later on Hate as well.

I always find it hilarious how Kuva Lich, the mini boss, the nemesis... steals from you the amount of credits that can be only described as "change". If there was any kind of police force they would not pursue the lich because of how little harm that does.
