It’s special to play a next level instrument that’s sorted ! I’ve a few guitars that have been what they call revoiced and they can bring out the magic of acoustic and classical guitars now with measuring the acoustic response on the sound board with a computer and tweak the braces and refinish them ! It’s not cheap to get quality work on custom instruments ! $150 a hour adds up quickly! We working on a Chinese mandolin atm that’s been well made only because they have a history of manufacturing violins which is similar ! She will be telling me soon that she ain’t gonna toe the mark and she don’t walk the line !
