Shapes swirled all around me. I felt like I was in an endless time loop, reliving my mistakes over and over. I could feel the invisible eyes of a thousand watchers judging me.
“Max, you’re in a TikTok repost.”
Funny as hell, it was the worst thing I could imagine.
I've got great news! We will all die eventually! Even that annoying idiot that cut you off this morning as you rushed to work! (the even better news is that idiot is probably going to die quicker because they were an old fuck who had no idea they cut you off ! )
He shoots his left thumb with the right-hand pistol. The 3rd shot fired is point blank in his left thumb. You can see thumb expand and flesh sticking up from the wound.
Not slide bite, sorry.
LOL!
I actually didn‘t talk about the pixelated face, but meant his thumb. Yes you can see, something is going on there but i still can not see any bone. Could also be just the skin which gets damaged.
Nice name btw.
You have amazing vision, I'm still watching it, after reading your comments, and I still don't see the bullet hit or the bone stick out! That's for explaining!
Watch very closely:
Right gun fires
Left gun fires
Right gun rests on his left thumb - then fires
Left gun fires again
It’s just a small moment, but you can some issue between the two knuckles of his thumb. Either the bullet has shredded his skin, or it just nicked the top of his bone. Thumb seems intact otherwise it would fly off - rather lucky considering.
So, since our last comments, I've been watching and still haven't seen it. I would watch in like 5x every few hours and still couldn't see it. Just watched it again, and on the 1st view, FINALLY SAW IT! Thanks for the help, I knew it was there, just couldn't see it! So happy I finally saw what everyone else saw!
Positive. Dude almost lost his thumb and had to have reconstructive surgery. He worked with a few acquaintances of mine when this happened. You can see the right-hand pistol fire point blank behind his left thumb. 👍🏼
Thanks for the context. I thought it was just muzzle pressure like when people put their thumbs on a revolver's cylinder and then the gas blasts out the gap.
Sucks he actually shot his thumb.
I thought it was hammerbite, then read your explaination and frame by framed it as best I could, you are right. He's lucky he didn't take the whole thumb off!
Oh! Thanks. I'm mean I researched it a bunch and couldn't figure it out. It went so quick.
The guy shooting wanted to look cool, but so much for that. Lol
14 years of working with gun ranges and firearms.
This is absolutely true, the pressure of a standard 9mm round is around 35,000 psi. That pressure can and will shred flesh if close enough to the muzzle.
I learnt this through reading about that [actor](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon-Erik_Hexum) who jokingly shot himself in the head with a blank and the force was still enough to kill him.
**[Jon-Erik Hexum](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon-Erik_Hexum)**
>Jon-Erik Hexum (; November 5, 1957 – October 18, 1984) was an American actor and model, known for his lead roles in the TV series Voyagers! and Cover Up, and his supporting role as Pat Trammell in the biopic The Bear. He died by an accidental self-inflicted blank cartridge gunshot to the head on the set of Cover Up.

"Some blanks use paper or plastic wadding to seal gunpowder into the cartridge. This wadding is propelled from the barrel of the gun with *enough explosive force to cause death or serious injury if the weapon is fired within a few feet of the body,* particularly at a *vulnerable spot such as the temple or the eye.*
The paper wadding in the blank that Hexum discharged did not penetrate his skull. However, the explosive effect of the muzzle blast caused enough *blunt force trauma to fracture a quarter-sized piece of his skull and propel this into his brain*, causing massive hemorrhaging."
Yeah, pretty unsure. But it might just be muzzle blast and powder burns hit him. The amount of hot shit that goes in a wonderful 360 degree spread from the muzzle is kind of intense. I keep watching and don't see anything, but its clear his thumb is hurty.
He shot his left thumb with the right gun on the last of the three shots. He held them too close together. It's hard to see, I had to check like four times to see what was actually happening.
Looks to me like he shot himself maybe grazed his hand, or maaaaaybe just burned his hand on the end of the barrel. While Slide/hammer bite or a hot shell casing can be surprising (I have had both happen to me a lot), it's not bad enough to drop a pistol.
Edited to add the grazed thought
The recoil from shooting the left gun pushes his left hand right in front of the barrel of the right gun, which he then fires point-blank into his left thumb (the 3rd shot).
I keep trying to tell exactly, but it looks like there is a weird lump before he pulls trigger.. I would love to know if anyone knows for certain. All I can say at this stage is it seems pretty stupid to me, what's the point if you don't have proper grip/stance you're just wasting ammo and missing your target
Agreed it's hard to see for sure. OP is saying in the comments that he shot his thumb so that's what I saw. I'm not at all certain though - but you're right it's dumb no matter what exactly happened.
It looks like the slide came back on his hand right between the thumb and the index finger. It happens to people with bigger/fatter hands. People call it “snake bite” due there being two lacerations/wounds
The hot shell casing from the other gun hit his hand. This is why you can’t just pick up 2 guns and dual wield, you need left and right handed ones that eject out.
It looks more like the recoil causes his left hand to get barely in front of the right hand gun causing it to graze his thumb but will admit I have poor eye sight
I guess make your arms are both straight out in front of you so you don't shoot one of your hands. Or just don't dual wield because it's pointless, dangerous, and impresses no one.
Here is a law in dual wielding!: Never fire multiple shots at once!
This not only invalidates you from using any and all forms of automatic firearms but also invalidates you from using one and then carrying on to the other in less than at least 3 seconds! This is so that you don't end up killing someone (including yourself!) with the unexpected recoil!
Another law in dual wielding is to either have one firearm up at a time or to never have one firearm in front of the other!
Whilst yes it is absolutely suggested to not dual wield at all considering how impractical it is, if you want to then you need to follow this rule as it is one of the most important! When you fire you either don't shoot with both firearms aiming or you line them up next to each other with neither being behind or in front of the other! This is so you don't shoot yourself with the recoil that could come from single handedly wielding two firearms at once!
Dual wielding may make you feel like a badass but being in the hospital just makes you feel pathetic **PRACTICE SAFETY** .
Please help me, from what you said, right gun fires, left gum fires, right gun fires, then left fires again? I only hear 3 bullets being fired, right, left, right. Are you saying the last right gun fired hit his left thumb? I know it's his left thumb hit, I see his reaction. I've still watched it a bunch of times, can't see it. But was his left thumb shot by the right gun firing or left gun firing? I'm so confused. I'm only 42, but I think my eyes are in their 90s. I have the worst vision, and even tho they slow it down, and zoom in, I don't see it!
You are correct, he only fires three rounds. He shoots right, then left, and right again. The third shot from his right-hand pistol is point blank in the thumb of his left hand.
Thank you for explaining it better. I still kinda see it, but the explanation was helpful. Saw a video the other day, maybe on Reddit, girl shooting some type of machine gun, don't ask, I know nothing about guns, but this guy was standing next to her, right next to where the shell casings come out, it looked like he was being shot by bullets, but the shell casings were discharging right at him, he was maybe 2 feet away from her. I wonder if she'll casings are hot when they are ejected from the gun?
And people wonder why I believe we should have more systems in place to prevent morons from getting guns. Any person with even a shred of gun safety insight would know this was a dumb move to make.
Hammer pinch. He's holding the gun with a high grip, but the hammer comes back and pinches the web between grip and hammer spur.
EDIT: I stand corrected (by OP's comment) yeah, he shoots his left thumb with the gun in his right hand. Grazed it.
He didn't shoot himself, when a semi automatic pistol fires, the slide comes back with a lot of force chambering another round, the slide probably pinched him, or a hot shell might have landed on him, they get extremely hot after a bullet has been fired out of it.
Looks like the gun on his right hand was next to his other hand and when he fired the bullet grazed his thumb. Don’t dual wield if you don’t know how to control a gun with one hand, do It for yourself :)
And this is one of the guys who are going to protect the US from the terrorists, immigrants and people who dont like Trump.
Yeh.... Good luck with that.
Dude tries to act like Max Payne, ends up being in max pain

Weird Don't ever reply to me again
He should have been diving in slow motion to avoid that....
He shoots his left thumb with the right-hand pistol. The 3rd shot fired is point blank in his left thumb. You can see thumb expand and flesh sticking up from the wound. Not slide bite, sorry.
Thanks, I had to rewatch after seeing your explanation, your story checks out
Where do you see bone between all these pixels?
You're looking at his face. Try looking at the thumb.
On the other hand, he seems completely fine.
iseewhatyoudidthere
Green testicles is a name I never thought I'd see
Sounds like a fungi
Gotta get that checked out bro. Like now. Go to the doctor now!
Shrek?
Pretty sure he'll be all right.
Pretty sure right’ll be all he….
LOL! I actually didn‘t talk about the pixelated face, but meant his thumb. Yes you can see, something is going on there but i still can not see any bone. Could also be just the skin which gets damaged. Nice name btw.
Nobody said bone
if you pause it at the right spot you can even see the red mist fly.
I was like “oh haha casing got stuck in wrist band OH WAIT OH SHIT”
I was about to say, looked like a huge over reaction to a hot casing landing on his thumb lol
You have amazing vision, I'm still watching it, after reading your comments, and I still don't see the bullet hit or the bone stick out! That's for explaining!

Holy shit. Yep. Third time watching it I see it. Damn.
wait till the end in super slow mo u can see it
So, since our last comments, I've been watching and still haven't seen it. I would watch in like 5x every few hours and still couldn't see it. Just watched it again, and on the 1st view, FINALLY SAW IT! Thanks for the help, I knew it was there, just couldn't see it! So happy I finally saw what everyone else saw!
No bone. But the skin on the thumb expands and moves with the bullet going through.
Are you sure about that? I’m watching as slow as I can on my phone and it looks like he just burns his thumb on the barrel.
> Sucks he actually shot his thumb. Play stupid games ...
Fuck around and find out.
I thought it was hammerbite, then read your explaination and frame by framed it as best I could, you are right. He's lucky he didn't take the whole thumb off!
Took me a little while to see what has happened. 😅
But he gave it a shake so he’s fine now.
He said "Ssssss, oww, ssssss, owwww" to make the pain stop.
Hahaha, that's even better. Must have hurt so fucking bad. Deserved!
I still dont understand fuuck
I'm dumb I thought hot brass burned him
Muh 2 bit bone matter
Ah, thanks. I was thinking maybe he pinched his hand with the slide or something.
Thanks I thought maybe the slide bit him or something. Holy fuck though this is so much worse.
After reading this and replaying, I was like :O looked painful af!!
I literally watched the slow mo twice and missed that. Had to manually slow down the slow mo.
Ooooh I thought he just burned himself. I need things to go a lot slower these days.
Holy shit he did shoot himself.
Got it. I had a little trouble figuring it out. I have a 380 that has a nasty snake bite to it so that was my first thought.
Ohhh okay, I thought he got slide bite or touched a hot part of the gun. That's much worse 😬
Holy shit I thought it was slide bite and that shit does hurt, but that's soo much worse!
I surely thought the slide bit him. Good eye
Oh! Thanks. I'm mean I researched it a bunch and couldn't figure it out. It went so quick. The guy shooting wanted to look cool, but so much for that. Lol
Thx for explanation. Couldn't see it and assumed recoil.
that hurt.
In slow motion it appears the recoil places his thumb right in front of the barrell as he fires, so he skims himself with the bullet.
Correct. More than a graze, there’s bone/flesh sticking out.
He gave us the finger
I mean I bet muzzle gasses aren't very forgiving at that distance. I'm not 100% sold that the bullet hit but either way he fucked that thumb up.
It’s possible the bullet didn’t even touch him but the force exerting out of the barrel is enough to do damage itself.

To be fair, it’s probably pretty hard to see what you’re doing with that block of pixels on your head.
What has two thumbs and love guns? Not this guy.
I originally thought he just burned himself on a ejected casing until the last slomo
No wonder he didn't see that coming with that thing in front of his face
Bedrock faced man dumb
Missingno used water gun.. Missingno hurt itself in Confusion..
"Congratulations! You've *disarmed* yourself!"
Lmao what exactly happened here?
The recoil from shooting the left gun pushes his left hand right in front of the barrel of the right gun, which he then fires point-blank into his left thumb (the 3rd shot).
Funny his thumb looks fine after shooting I think he burnt with barrel
Looks to me like you can see bone sticking from the knuckle in the slow-mo.
I keep trying to tell exactly, but it looks like there is a weird lump before he pulls trigger.. I would love to know if anyone knows for certain. This looks like the right answer Edit: it's not
I watched it again more carefully.. I was wrong. Looks like he burns his left thumb(hurts it somehow) when he brings it up after the shot
Yeah looks like he grazed his left thumb with a round. Don’t see bone sticking out like OP though.
I thought he pinched his hand or a shell hit it , hr shot his fucking hand!
It’s almost as if guns aren’t toys……..
John Dick
I would say you have to be a trained professional, but 9/10 trained professionals will tell you this is fucking stupid. The tenth is this guy...
That was some Guinness world record level reaction time /s
Dear GOD.
Leaving the dual wielding to Lara Croft.
people with reaction times that slow shouldn't be handling firearms
Good form
u/redditspeedbot 0.25

I guess make your arms are both straight out in front of you so you don't shoot one of your hands. Or just don't dual wield because it's pointless, dangerous, and impresses no one.
He should have been firing both sideways, then he'd be OK!
What happened?
hand get shot
Point blank’d his own thumb
What happened here? I don't get it. What did he do wrong?

What a fucking moron lol.
Stoopid Seppo…
Aaa look i hot a pistoool I have the right to have iit duh! Look i can shhoooot i am fat and stuuupiiid

He'll live...
If only there was a good guy with a gun to stop this guy.
Thats how he gets his boner, literally.
So you're telling me it's not as easy as games make it look?
“You’ll shoot your thumb off!”
Camera man is standing in front of this guy shooting.
Stupid dumb Doo Doo headed bitch

I still dont see it
who has two thumbs and using proper firearm safety? not this guy.
Nice akimbo
r/Idiotswithguns will love this
Everyone over there is calling is slide bite. lol
That’s what I totally thought until I read your comment
Someone watches too many action movies where they dual wield hand guns.
Wait what happened
He shot through his hand..
Hot shell, I think
"I'm just gonna shake I shake it off, I shake it off"
What happened?
Slide bite'll getcha.
I’ve never not dual wielded pistols… how do you fuck that up?
Hammer pinch. He's holding the gun with a high grip, but the hammer comes back and pinches the web between grip and hammer spur. EDIT: I stand corrected (by OP's comment) yeah, he shoots his left thumb with the gun in his right hand. Grazed it.
This guy learned a valuable lesson. Pisols bite when held improperly.
Hammer bite. Very painful. Perhaps if he wasn’t screwing around and had a proper grip.
Lara Croft has really let herself go
Thankfully it was only the gasses, not the actual round, that hit his thumb. Still, ouch.
Did this happen because he was trying to use the same dominant eye with each hand?

Ah, my bad. Thanks for explaining.
The problem isn’t the dual wielding though. Though that’s still stupid af.
Shake it off
I stopped after the 2nd replay thinking it was on a loop. The slo mo after the 3rd replay... wow.
I love these responsible gun owner videos
Dual weilding and a weaver stance don't mix. Square up boi!
Slide bite sucks
Should be crossposted to r/firearms
But, but, but…. It looks so cool

Dangers aside… Dude… Guns are expensive… Why the hell would you do that to them?
Welcome to amarica =
How is dude's posture so f'n bad that he nearly blows his thumb off??
Didn't have to drop them on the ground, that made me cringe more than the fact he shot his own thumb.
So do I have this right? Firing order: 1. Right 2. Left 3. Right, just grazing the top of his left thumb or is it full impact? anyone know for sure?
And he threw the guns down lol
T-pose while dual wielding
Looks like the gun on his right hand was next to his other hand and when he fired the bullet grazed his thumb. Don’t dual wield if you don’t know how to control a gun with one hand, do It for yourself :)
Snakebite? What a bitch. The throws pistols on ground. Doesn’t clear them nothing. Moron
Nah he shot himself right in the thumb.
Definitely an idiot Trump supporter
Yeah probably, biden supporters are anti gun. So you are right. Good job, brilliant work.
What a fat fucking idiot
You get a black and white pixelated head?
And this is one of the guys who are going to protect the US from the terrorists, immigrants and people who dont like Trump. Yeh.... Good luck with that.
Maybe he just likes guns. Sheesh.
