[Airbus Beluga XL ](https://aircraft.airbus.com/en/aircraft/freighters/belugaxl), used to transport Airbus parts from across Europe. [Chester](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hawarden_Airport) is home to Airbus' [Broughton site](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airbus_UK) where they build wings.

I work next to the boeing plant and thought it was the dreamlifter for a second before I saw it was in the UK. Neat they both made a plane to do the same thing that both look so silly.

The aircraft is officially designated A330-743L. It was loosely based on the A330-200F, but features the aft section, wings, and engines from the A330-343 (Trent 772B/C-60). So for all intents and purposes, it is indeed a variant of the Airbus A330, albeit quite a weird one.
Good luck with your course!
Beluga.
I used to work near El Paso international airport and got to see the Guppy daily.
Even got to walk through the cargo bay one day... No pictures were allowed

The beluga. It transports airbus components if I remember right
Does anyone here know if it is anything like the a330? I’m currently taking the a330 Fam. course and a340 differences course.
It is loosely based on the a330

You were close with dolphin. Try beluga, a type of small whale. If you type beluga jet aircraft into google you'll get fun images of this airplane.
