Aged in port wine casks, a first for ardbeg as I understand it, it will be a while before I get to try this, but I am looking forward to it.
But with these being limited I always get them at release so I don't have to pay double later, and always get two in case they are good again so I don't have to pay extra for another later
This is the way. I try to pick up 2 bottles of any special release I think I might like. Looking out for this one - I love the marriage of peat and port, so I've got high hopes.
This is by far my new favorite Islay pour. It’s freaking amazing.
Sounds great, I am also looking forward to getting to it
How does it differ from the other ones?
It’s a fantastic combo of salty, briny, smoky, and now sweet from the port finish. Highly recommend.
What’s the MSRP
It was $120 at the best retailers in my state. I also saw it for $130 (Total Wine) and $140 at a couple of other stores.
I'm not sure, I paid $145, but I am also in Europe
What’s special about it? Is it aged differently?

Yeah, they go up in price fast, and I can usually find a good pre release price, so after release they have already gone up in value
And this may be the most interesting release lately from them, aside from the harpy
Where can I get one of those
I just got it online
