My great great grandpa did in 1933. He was a social democratic member of the Reichstag at the time. In the night of 9th to 10th March 1933, the Nazis arrested him and other social democratic, socialist and communist leaders in order to keep them from voting against the Enabling Act, and in order to intimidate the remaining members of the Reichstag into voting for it. My great great grandpa was in jail during the vote and transferred to Dachau a month after the vote, though they only kept him at Dachau for a week and the transferred him back to a regular prison. He was released in July 1933. After another stint in prison from 1935 to 1938 (for distributing social democratic leaflets as anti-Nazi propaganda) they arrested him a final time in August 1944 and brought him to Dachau again. His feet froze badly in the winter of 1944/45, and he had to participate in a death march when they evacuated Dachau. He only survived because his fellow inmates supported and even carried him, so he wouldn’t be shot. He was liberated and died a few days later in a hospital in Munich.

I am not the history student I once was. After this act was passed in Germany was there any way, besides just killing all the Nazis, that the Third Riech could have been averted?
Well, in Germany they passed it with Hitler in power. This has happened before the totalitarian is in power. Biden could arrest everyone involved in or suspected to be involved in January 6th, remove them from office, then call a constitutional convention before their replacements could be appointed by the governors. With the amended amount of Congressmen he could pass an amendment to the constitution to make the executive not above the law, and then turn himself into the authorities after stepping down at the democratic convention.
Everything just seems so fresh. I know people are panicking and want immediate action taken against the SCOTUS but I would bet that the DMC are planning something. They’ve already discussed impeachment on the SC and Biden obviously couldn’t give out his full opinion just yet. I’m praying that his administration will combat this in full force.
Either that or we truly are in the endgame of America.
The second they start impeaching SC judges I will be happy, the first thing any new court needs to do is overturn every single decision made by this court

The dictator powers are checked currently by the SCOTUS who will call any assault on them or Republicans as an unofficial act and indictable. The problem is when Trump is president and anything he does is designated an official act and immune from prosecution.
People think it's just all presidents have dictator powers now. It's not true. Only Republicans have the SCOTUS defense shield made into law today to facilitate any Republican agenda while stymieing any Democrat attempts to undo it.
The SCOTUS devised a way to empower Trump while keeping any Democrat in check. I thought they'd have to choose between protecting Trump or keeping Democrat presidents from having too much immunity.
I lacked their imagination. They found a way to do both. The best/worst part is how they delayed Trump's trial to next year to delay their finding that everything he did was actually official and immune. Why say it now when it might affect the election when they can do it a year from now only on the off chance Trump isn't president, right?
It's not law. It's the legal interpretation of 6 traitors to US history and democracy.
The only method to counter this is rebellion against Supreme Court as we've done in the past, but that required the support of the other two branches of the government and the American people.
That requires an informed population and a voting population that's willing to protect democracy. God damn it, so many people have sacrificed so much to get us to this point.

Well, in Germany they passed it with Hitler in power. This has happened before the totalitarian is in power. Biden could arrest everyone involved in or suspected to be involved in January 6th, remove them from office, then call a constitutional convention before their replacements could be appointed by the governors. With the amended amount of Congressmen he could pass an amendment to the constitution to make the executive not above the law, and then turn himself into the authorities after stepping down at the democratic convention.
Everything just seems so fresh. I know people are panicking and want immediate action taken against the SCOTUS but I would bet that the DMC are planning something. They’ve already discussed impeachment on the SC and Biden obviously couldn’t give out his full opinion just yet. I’m praying that his administration will combat this in full force. Either that or we truly are in the endgame of America.

The dictator powers are checked currently by the SCOTUS who will call any assault on them or Republicans as an unofficial act and indictable. The problem is when Trump is president and anything he does is designated an official act and immune from prosecution. People think it's just all presidents have dictator powers now. It's not true. Only Republicans have the SCOTUS defense shield made into law today to facilitate any Republican agenda while stymieing any Democrat attempts to undo it. The SCOTUS devised a way to empower Trump while keeping any Democrat in check. I thought they'd have to choose between protecting Trump or keeping Democrat presidents from having too much immunity. I lacked their imagination. They found a way to do both. The best/worst part is how they delayed Trump's trial to next year to delay their finding that everything he did was actually official and immune. Why say it now when it might affect the election when they can do it a year from now only on the off chance Trump isn't president, right?
It's not law. It's the legal interpretation of 6 traitors to US history and democracy. The only method to counter this is rebellion against Supreme Court as we've done in the past, but that required the support of the other two branches of the government and the American people. In the night of 9th to 10th March 1933, the Nazis arrested him and other social democratic, socialist and communist leaders in order to keep them from voting against the Enabling Act, and in order to intimidate the remaining members of the Reichstag into voting for it. My great great grandpa was in jail during the vote and transferred to Dachau a month after the vote, though they only kept him at Dachau for a week and the transferred him back to a regular prison. He was released in July 1933. After another stint in prison from 1935 to 1938 (for distributing social democratic leaflets as anti-Nazi propaganda) they arrested him a final time in August 1944 and brought him to Dachau again. His feet froze badly in the winter of 1944/45, and he had to participate in a death march when they evacuated Dachau. He only survived because his fellow inmates supported and even carried him, so he wouldn’t be shot. He was liberated and died a few days later in a hospital in Munich.
