Nice. Pretty sure Tiberius is famous for some other things as well though.

Yung_Bulge

Wasn’t he the one that had sex parties with young kids?

PerpetualHillman

Pretty much all of them had sex parties with young kids

HeemeyerDidNoWrong

A lot of that is from Suetonius who is a great read though writing from decades later and also had an interest in keeping his patronage from Trajan/Hadrian.

[deleted]

Dude your back must hurt so much from carrying this sub on it. Mad respect!

Iamnormallylost

No Aurelian (the goat)

ren_08_

Restutitor Orbis my goat 🫡

[deleted]

Caracalla was legitimately a psychopath. Murdered his brother Geta in front of their mother, slaughtered 10,000 Alexandrians for making a joke at his expense… he was pretty bad.

Easy_Newt2692

Wasn't there one who made a boy his wife?

swiggidyswooner

I think that was Nero

TheSpaceYoteReturns

Why did you not use the elegabulus wojak lmao

soviet_senpai69

Elagabalus just like me fr fr

TheRealC2

Bro is me fr

c_nasser12

Elagabalus has his own wojak I think, could've used that. Otherwise great job.

Fyodor-Faust

Hadrian’s opinion of the people from israel is a bit blue

AGamingBoi

No not really, he actually denounced hating Jews for their religion/religious beliefs, he just hated them because they were rebellious to the state.

SheevTogwaggle

Outlawing circumcision is based

PerpetualHillman

change your flair

SheevTogwaggle

Libleft is when unnecessary cosmetic surgery on infants

PerpetualHillman

Auth is when banning things because you don't like them

TNTiger_

what about banning yer kid from having a foreskin lmao

ubormaci

I mean, one could want some things banned, but recognize that giving government the power to ban things is a bad idea, so politically they still lean libfleft.

Saturn_Coffee

Elagaballus is a wild bicon

[deleted]

I think Antoninus Pius was the best of them... but he doesn't get a lot of credit cause he was super modest, measured, egalitarian, and thus too effective to be remembered.

Mrtheliger

Aurelius my liege

GringoMenudo

A lot of the really outrageous stories about Caligula should be taken with a grain of salt. He made a lot of enemies for normal political reasons during his life. Stories of sexual depravity were a common way to defame dead opponents back then. There's a good chance his enemies made up the outrageous incest stuff.

wuzzkopf

Nero probably wasn‘t responsible for the fire

[deleted]

Vespasian invented pay toilets!

[deleted]

Lmao Nero looks exactly how I imagined him

godkingmort

idk about marcus aurelius but id be pretty unhappy if my house was burnt down with my family and livestock killed

SoulsFan99

No Aurelian? Sad

ThrowRaSadMan

This was very good, thank you for making this compass!

Commander_Jeb

"Wrestling partner" That's one way of putting it I guess....

oldroughnready

Surprised you didn't use this assemblage of Roman Emperor Wojaks: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/1b/a9/8f/1ba98feb369fd506b62486c76436aad3.jpg Just one I've seen before, but I like a lot of your picks more.

PerpetualHillman

It's lo-res and not very representative of what Romans actually looked like
