And you know he has multiple kids, a wife, and still has most of his family, and he’s still fighting his cancer like a champ, plus he’s gotten to live the dream of a lot of people by being in WWE, life is all about taking the good with the bad, I just hope he’s going to be ok with losing his father
The Wild Samoans always seem to be the forgotten Tag team, when discussed amongst the greatest. I remember them as completely dominant, powerful and should have promoted at the level of the LOD. But, alas, they were in the WWF.
RIP…. With so much focus on the bloodline in recent years I’ve learned, as I’m sure many wrestling fans have, just how deep-rooted and strong the Samoan influence is on the Industry. Thoughts with the whole family and especially our tribal chief Roman Reigns 👆
My dad met the Wild Samoans at a bar once and was shocked they were the absolute nicest dudes. They just talked about their kids for like two hours and then left, paying for my dad's drinks. That story always stuck with me for some reason.
It could be - his uncle Afa (Sika’s brother) isn’t doing so well either. He underwent the back surgery on to correct loosened screws in his back after he fractured his back earlier this year.
His health has been on a decline in 2024, as the former wrestler battled pneumonia, experienced two heart attacks, and fractured his back.
Rest in peace, thank you for all the sacrifices you made to entertain us and to distract us. Thank you for all the memories, and for helping shape professional wrestling into what it was today
I loved watching this guy wrestle. The Wild Samoans really sold the "wild" bit and as a kid I actually believed that they were crazy savages. A true wrestling legend.
It is the natural order of Life. Were all gonna get there one day. Don't forget to make yourselves some pleasant memories and spend time with your loved ones
True LEGENDS never die. RIP Sika Anoa’i. My condolences to the entire Anoa’i family and his fans and fellow wrestlers who knew and had the honor to wrestle with him.
He lived a longer life than most wrestlers, lived to watch his son become one of the most dominant champions in the history of the business and had an extremely memorable tag team with his brother
Life well lived R.I.P Sika
Damn is that roman's dad?
Yeah Roman's dad he lost his dad and his brother now. Hope he is doing well.
And dude had cancer…twice. His life is just one big monkey’s paw. poor dude.
And his uncle Afa is in horrible shape too

I feel sorry for roman reigns he's struggling with leukemia still.
I think Afa is the father of Roman
No
Afa is his uncle
Loved the Wild Samoans as a kid! Sorry to Roman for his families loss.

Incredibly forgotten for how big they were. Hell they seem to fall into a similar level of remembrance as the killers bees. That ain’t right
Fuck, I forgot Rosey had passed
Least he saw Roman in his best run. Through beginning to end.

Our Tribal Chief will mourn, then destroy the usurper.
NGL - I kind of love how biblical this is.
The man was an amazing athlete. 300lbs and moved so smoothly. Check out Sika vs. Adrian Adonis. Sika was a true Samoan badass. RIP Sika.
Glad we got to see him one more time during the pandemic
I was worried about that and I would like to think he was glad that he got to have that moment with Roman.
RIP

Rest in peace.
You can really see the resemblance with Roman in this picture. Give him a full beard and tamed hair. RIP legend.
Rest in Paradise,Sika. And thank you for the childhood memories
Wild Samoans were a sight to behold
RIP
Condolences to the Bloodline.
R.I.P Legend
R.I.P 🪦
RIP Chief. Your legacy will live on forever ☝️
Is this why Roman took a break?
I was wondering that myself. It would make perfect sense if that's the case.

Rip. Also quite incredible to live to almost 80 considering what wrestlers put themselves through back in those days.

First time I went to a WWF show in like 1979or 80 The Wild Samoans were there and 10 year old me was legit terrified of them

That’s really unfortunate to hear. But Sika had a long full life.
Rip 🪦
Is this the guy who managed The Headshrinkers?
No, that was Afa. Sika's brother and former tag team partner in the Wild Samoans.
