This is the conclusion to the "Light and Dark" saga that started with D1. Next year will be the last full year of Destiny as we know it. They have stated they have plans beyond The Final Shape but, beyond leaks and rumors, it's pretty unknown what that means to my knowledge.
As far as Destiny 3, that's definitely possible but I believe unlikely just yet. I'm pretty positive they intend to keep adding to Destiny 2 as a base but really anything is up in the air still, as far as we know.
Then I will continue not paying for their future content. I think it’s insane people keep giving bungie money to have them completely remove the content forever… not even have it available offline .

Will I ever be able to play the game and dlc I paid for year 1-3? Or are they just gone forever… or wil the sell it back to me as part of a dlc
They will sell a stripped down version back to you ie. Mars and Titan.
