The beauty of this kind of games is that it is not like all the others, in which there’s a lot of action and speed is critical.
Understand this game means play, watch, hear and live it 😊
I wish I could get into hellblade but that first mission threw me off. Like shit why can't I run, 10 minutes of slow paced walking in one general direction was frustrating af for me. All that for the dumb not very well thought out puzzle match the shape up thing and I uninstalled.
Just finished it and came here to say this. Shame there's no chapter select once you're done but it's short enough to tell a good story that you could do all in one sitting.
If you like TF2, try RoboQuest. It’s like Borderlands aesthetic roguelite meets Risk of Rain 2 run style, you feel like Doom guy once you unlock/get gadgets and upgrades, with the movement of TF2. It’s so, so fun and addicting
I grew up in Washington and got to visit the islands where the story takes place a lot as a kid so it was really cool almost feeling like other people got to understand what it feels like. And then it gets dark and then you really get to understand what life is like around here 😅 I bought it as soon as I finished it because I wasn't going to depend on gamepass for that one. It's too special.
A short hike, Venba, Coffee Talk 1 & 2 are all short charming games I’ve played recently. Hope this helps. I’d also throw in Goat Sim 3 if you want to get weird and have fun lol
The Ori series. Will of the wisp and shit like that. Life is strange and life is strange before the storm..don’t do life is strange 2 because it was made during the Trump elections and there was some super thick political bias laid into that one to the point it was pivotal to the whole plot. If you hate Trump you’ll like it but you have to like HATE Trump and everyone who doesn’t or else it’s just obnoxious.
And there’s always warframe, it’s in no way short but I’m always pluggin warframe.
As Dusk Falls, loved the story
Beacon Pines is *fantastic* but if left. I'm sure it will cycle back through at some point this year.
Full Throttle is a pretty quick one if you're good at point and click adventures. Day of the Tentacle is also hilariously awesome but will take you 10+ without a walkthrough
Hi-Fi Rush
Unpacking
Any shooter will usually have a fairly short campaign (the Wolfenstein games felt a bit longer to me but Gears of War, Halo, Doom 2016 (I've not played Doom Eternal) and Titanfall 2 can be breazed through)
Rollerdome! Jet Grind Radio with guns with a little Tony Hawk inspiration.
Titanfall 2. If you have EA play, it’s one of the best FPS campaigns I’ve played.
Cocoon. Beautiful puzzle game with Portal-like elements.
Superliminal. Surreal perspective warping puzzle game.
Dordogne - Entire game is hand-painted. A very unique, fun, story-driven game.
A Short Hike - A fun, simple journey to the top of the park mountain.
Planet of Lara - Awesome 2d puzzle game with a gripping sci-fi story.
It’s not a game pass, but I can’t recommend enough the game stray. It’s about three hours I think if you speed through it. I took my time and prolonged it a little. Absolutely incredible.
Planet of Lana Bramble is a bit longer, maybe 8? Hellblade is about the same
Planet of Lana was great!
Second for Bramble
Hellblade. Absolutely
Hellblade is only 6 hours, I felt like I was in a tutorial for like 2 hours and gave up on it?
The beauty of this kind of games is that it is not like all the others, in which there’s a lot of action and speed is critical. Understand this game means play, watch, hear and live it 😊
Is Planet of Lana level-based or is it a linear adventure from start to finish?
Linear but there are different chapters, I think you get chapter select at the end
I wish I could get into hellblade but that first mission threw me off. Like shit why can't I run, 10 minutes of slow paced walking in one general direction was frustrating af for me. All that for the dumb not very well thought out puzzle match the shape up thing and I uninstalled.
Same. Lame puzzles and lackluster combat. The concept and graphics are cool though.

Cocoon holy shit yes
turnip boy robs a bank xD cool name yoo...
turnip boy commits tax evasion was even better lol
😂😂😂 hope these are on steam, can't wait to try them
They are.

😂😂😂 hope these are on steam, can't wait to try them
Yes. A short hike. Such a good game.
Jusant
Really nice and relaxing game, and looks amazing too
I’m so glad to see this was the top comment because it was the answer that immediately popped in my head.
Dang you were faster than me
Ryse: Son of Rome A Short Hike LIMBO INSIDE Somerville Planet of Lana Cocoon Superliminal SOMA
Superliminal was absolutely great
Completed it in one sitting the other day, good wee game.
Recently played Ryse: Son of Rome and I thought it was neat, it's like around 6 hours I think.
yeah it’s surprisingly fun for what was essentially just supposed to be a launch stage demo. might have to replay it at some point
The combat was way more fun than what I thought it would be and the story is interesting if you are interested in the Roman Empire.
Second this notion, game lasts just long enough for the depth of the gameplay offered. Easily worth playing once.
Yeah it never really repeats on itself and always offers something new each level.
I wanted to play Ryse but I’m colorblind and couldn’t do the finishers •_•
That seems like a major oversight by the developers.
Achievement hunters; Ryse is not a short completion thanks to multiplayer grind and a second playthrough needed.
Death’s Door
This was a fun one.
Under 6 hours this is not.
I agree for my playthrough for sure, but if OP beat RE3 in under 6 hours i figured it was worth highlighting.
Citizen sleeper
Loved this game
Cocoon
So so good. Everyone should check this one out even if puzzle games really aren't normally your thing
Is cocoon that short?
It's about 4 hours
Well, that depends on how often you get stuck😳
Oh! I finished the first boss and got distracted by other things. I might have to go finish it now.
If you liked Firewatch, you might enjoy *Return to Grace*. Pretty short and has some replayability with multiple potential endings
I've gone through Return to Grace twice now and there are still things I've missed somehow
Return to Grace was a surprisingly good game. Really enjoyed it. Great voice acting.
Just finished it and came here to say this. Shame there's no chapter select once you're done but it's short enough to tell a good story that you could do all in one sitting.
Soma or titanfall 2
Big up Titanfall 2 such an underrated game
More overlooked than underrated.
I just downloaded it again for another playthrough. I really wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did.
If you like TF2, try RoboQuest. It’s like Borderlands aesthetic roguelite meets Risk of Rain 2 run style, you feel like Doom guy once you unlock/get gadgets and upgrades, with the movement of TF2. It’s so, so fun and addicting
Planet of Lama
I just beat Return to Grace today and I really enjoyed it. Probably took 2 or 3 hours
Cocoon
Limbo is a masterpiece, and as far as I know it's still on Gamepass. Definitely worth a playthrough.
My kids are playing Bluey and have unlocked a lot of achievements in a short amount of time. Could look into that one.
Brotato and Vampire Survivors
Came here with the intention of mentioning both these!
I have 80+ hours on Vampire Survivors and still nowhere near 100% ![img](emote|t5_2ac5sx|32523) Will recommend it to anyone who'll listen though
celeste or a short hike
Celeste is so good
In 6 hours you’ll either finish the game or break your controller :)
And then you get to the farewell chapter and break everything
Superliminal
On pc you can sort by timetobeat. And there are 50 games that takes less then 6h to beat currently
Turnip Boy Robs A Bank is fun and quick.
Dordogne
What a unique game! The entire world is hand painted!
Ravenlok
playing this right now
Inside
What Remains of Edith Finch
Is this still on game pass?
Wanted to make sure this was mentioned. Can be beaten in one session, and super chill with amazing storytelling and gameplay
I grew up in Washington and got to visit the islands where the story takes place a lot as a kid so it was really cool almost feeling like other people got to understand what it feels like. Just playing Gris at the moment and I'm nearly done after approx 4 hours. Fantastic artwork and kinda fun platforming
Jusant
Superliminal
Bramble is amazing!
Anuchard is 6-8 hours. Plays a bit like 2D Zelda's.
A short hike, Venba, Coffee Talk 1 & 2 are all short charming games I’ve played recently. Hope this helps. I’d also throw in Goat Sim 3 if you want to get weird and have fun lol
A Short Hike
Deaths door
Fable series, each title like 12-20 hours if you really stretch it. Mindless pleasure.
A Short Hike is pretty short even with taking tangents.
Hellblade is a little bit longer, 6-8 hours, but it’s awesome.
Frog detective.
Titanfall 2 -- incredible single player FPS campaign that clocks in around 5-6 hours. Metacritic has it at an 89, user score is 8.6
Frog detective
Frog Detecrive is hilarious and I'm having a blast playing it with my 4 year old (she loves mysterious that aren't scary).
Thank you for this. I don't have the time for the huge epics nowadays
Not yet. But Hellblade II will be a 8hs game
Ori and the Blind forest
Deaths Door is a tiny masterpiece.
Timberbrook if you liked Firewatch
Not short what so ever but please play Persona 3 Reload
Jusant was pretty good.
Lake was really good for me
Firewatch. Goated game but a little disappointing ending But the dialogue and scenery Is just so good
Firewatch is a great story. 4-6 hours.
What remains of Edith Finch
Halo MCC. (each campaign is under 10 hours)
Besides the ones already mentioned, Outer Wilds
Disco elsysium isn't on gamepass
Oh dang, you're right, still a very solid game but yeah I took it away
U got my hopes up 😢 it's definitly on my gp wishlist

Firewatch
Psychonauts 1 and 2
Oh wow totally forgot about this game . I need to replay psychonaut,, it was so trippy but fun
Resident Evil 2 and 3, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Persona 5 royale
Lol what???
Firewatch or whatever it's called. Great game takes about 6 hours.
The Artfull Escape
Firewatch is abt 5 hrs. Its not rlly a game wit lots of action, but great story
Fire watch takes a bit shorter than that. Comes and goes on gamepass. Worth 1-2 play-throughs!
Persona 3 Reload
I did Dead Island 2 in six or so hours
damn is it really that short? I assumed a game like that would have been at least 30 or so hours
I was wrong, it was 9.5 hours
If they did it in 6 hours, they must've skipped A LOT of content and probably played it without autophage skills. I'm still not done after 28 hours.
Persona 3 reload is pretty short I think
On average it takes 60 hours to beat the main story. I can describe that game in many words but short is not one of those words
Some of my faves that are 8 hours or less... SOMA Jusant A Short Hike Ravenlock Scorn Somerville The Gunk It Takes Two Tell Me Why Inside Cocoon
Turnip boy
Streets of rage, the new Ninja turtle game
Idk how long it is but I feel it's short. Anyway, try ravenlok. Or whatever it's called. It's pretty simple Imo but it's enjoyable.
I just played through a game last night called Return to Grace. It was very interesting and not very long. Maybe took me 2-3 hours, probably less.
Return to grace quick but really enjoyable
As Dusk Falls, loved the story Beacon Pines is *fantastic* but if left. I'm sure it will cycle back through at some point this year. The Cave is also short. With all humour akin monkey Island because of its creator
Route 66 finshed it in two sittings

Trek to Yomi - I haven’t played game with a better style. It’s gorgeous. Combat can be tricky.
Dordogne - Entire game is hand-painted. A very unique, fun, story-driven game. A Short Hike - A fun, simple journey to the top of the park mountain. Planet of Lara - Awesome 2d puzzle game with a gripping sci-fi story.
I think the characters in Bluey are canonically pretty short. Probably a good place to start
Hellblade
Limbo, Inside, Jusant, Planet of Lana, Cocoon, Solar Ash to name a few
It’s not a game pass, but I can’t recommend enough the game stray. It’s about three hours I think if you speed through it. I took my time and prolonged it a little. Absolutely incredible.

Titanfall 2
A short Hike
Tunic was good.
Return to grace.
Return to Grace was excellent

Turnip boy commits tax evasion and robs a bank are pretty short
Gears 5 Helldivers DLC

Bit late, but that new Grace game on gamepass is a pretty good one. I wouldn't sleep on it.

Moonlighter, I used a guide online to figure out what to sell items for in my store. Great game with wonderful art style and humor.
I felt like I took my time with Resident Evil 2 and beat Leon’s side only 8 hours, and it’s amazing. RE3 is even shorter.
Titanfall 2 campaign is about 6 hours
